Urd Teased the mustang long before RSS. The bmw was also in dev when rss released his one.


I don’t remember URD said something about the px1 update. They will update the EGT (not the pack the other who are single and more modern). About updating cars like the Porsche cup,dtm they said they gonna updated. Also gonna updated the Porsche 911 rsr too. They show pictures and info about them. And amazingly they gonna reborn the gt1 who urd haved planed but never released.

Ironically, it is indeed the PX pack (that remained unfinished - I believe Peugeot905 did his best to "fix" their work when it became clear that it was abandoned) and the 2012 EGTs that need the update/refresh the most.

The EGTs in particular are pretty good, just very dated.

We don't need more GT3s. From anyone. And I'm not naive enough to think the M4 EVO II, the RSR 2025 or the 296 update will be free upgrades for existing owners, either. You will be buying that **** again. For full price.

It looks to me like a cash grab. Sorry.

which is the best car/track combination to setup the FFB of the wheel?

I know it´s very mod depending, but to get a good starting point?

The PX pack is never getting updated. It's way to dated and URD has said that they'd need to remake all the cars from zero due to how bad the 3D models are compared to their newer stuff. It's the main reason why the EGT pack is never getting updated either. It's older than the average AC player.

Then it shouldn't be available for sale. And shouldn't have been when I bought it 7 years ago.

It very much still is.
 
Hey guys, i have been having issues with my AC. When i start any type of session, the game will freeze within 2-3 minutes without anyway of using restarting the whole damn thing. I've recently reinstalled AC and CM which i have been playing will all the bells and whistle like CSP and PURE.

I do as a side note run NR2003 on my pc which i know does use particular settings on NIVIDIA i'm not sure if that's the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
Yeaaaaah more mods that'll definitely won't be on the same level as the LMU cars, can't waiiiit.

There's an ocean of cars to bring to AC but they deffo want that sweet LMU player money (which they won't get since it's the absolute best sim when it comes to LMGT3, LMH and LMDh cars and simulating a proper WEC race, oh and it even has free rain ! How could that be???).

Why not model an accurate Acura ARX-06 ? An odball LMP1 like the BR Engineering ? Oh right, muhney.

RSS & their 1 single turbo powered 296 ferrari cause apparently properly coding in a twin turbo delivery system (like URD) is pointless as it does the same thing according to their coder and CC. oh and their physics data just being made up cause they are unable to get their hands on the actual 296 GT3 handbook like URD. :scared:

They have an official Verstappen.com livery. Do you think they dont have the manual to the car? Also, if URD had a manual, why did their car end up looking like it did? Have they fixed the model yet?

On full grids? Just hotlapping? On both?

Considering how much is wrong with their physics files, No i don't think they have the manual to the car.

You don't need an manual to do 3D stuff. URD based theirs off the early images of the 296 that was posted which was an terrible idea.
The V2 version comes not only with re-worked physics using the actual handbook that Ferrari sents to both FIA & teams that uses the car. But the entire 3D model has been re-worked to be as accurate as they can without tracing over LMU/ACC models RSS and their Evo 2 lambo moment

If only RSS, VRC (or URD for that matter) would launch a full and accurate F1 1978 pack...
RSS already has the beloved Lotus 79... complementing with the rest of the field would bring them $$$ and us....TONS of fun with new cars and additional F1 era. Sure, I too like GT3 and DTM (Especially the latter with URD T5 2015), but hey mod-creators, please think out of the box? You - as mod-creators - then happy (new content & surely $$$) and we as users through the roof with new and good quality (F1) stuff. Oh, F1 1978 is my personal preference BTW. But then again, much focus may be pointed to modern stuff as this is most appealing to them prospects and thus their prime target for sales/revenue? Please also focus - at least as an one-time exception - on 'older' users like myself. Bet many will want such. Just a thought.

If that were true, why does your car say in the data that it has one turbo, but the real one has two? And the best part was that they said that adding another turbo would not change anything in the mod.😐

If I recall doing some car mods, the engine parameters for 2 turbos does not "really" do much more, if anything, than having one turbo. They can have diffeent effects like spool time and pressure... but so does one turbo.
 
Does anyone know why on some cars the chase camera is very low? I don't have this issue with much taller cars.

In other news, work has begun on the Saleen Mustang SN95 GT2 car that race at Le Mans 1997.

Plan is to have the full 1997 version of the Saleen car & Maybe have the options for the Cirtek Motorsport aero package as extensions.

Car will be available for free on whatever site i end up sharing it on. Be it Overtake, Here, Gumroad etc etc.

Yes, The car will be encrypted for various reasons. It will be purchasable without the encryption for an small fee if you are THAT desperate for it. Do note that the physics wont be 1:1. We will try our best to make it as realistic as possible but finding data on this car is near impossible and getting in contact with Saleen themselves has been just met with an brick wall on all their socials and email.

I like fictional tracks. Project Cars 3 flopped but it has many nice tracks like Monument Valley and a few others.

I hope AC community would get to converting them. Monument Valley looked particularly interesting. Just the type I like.

I'm pretty sure there was a conversion of Azure Coast for AC, no? I can't find it anywhere.
If some of these exist, I'd sure love to be pointed to them.

Also, someone out there has a half done version of Citta de Aria from GT4. I hope that development will un-pause.

Indeed. Some tracks were cool. But boy that was a terrible game. It was so bad, it was almost comical. I bought it new for the Playstation back in the day. :D

I'm surprised reboot team didn't convert azure coast considering they did California highway. Don't think it was PC3 variant but yeah. Azure coast is a blast to drive in PC1 & 2

I'm not one to praise X and crap on Y, but THIS is one big bold statement. Is there any evidence to back this up?

I use Kunos Brands Hatch because of the compression in the first corner and the different curbs. And different class of kunos cars, depending on what profile i want to make (roadcar, open wheel), also still love the Auriel 90 GTO from VRC, it just feels like the beast it is.
 
Question: Why doesn't my replacement texture (in the skin folder) work at the track when it does work in CSP showroom? (replacing the texture (for a car interior panel) with a different colored version)

(VRC Alfio, so an encryption thing maybe? I also tried changing PROPS of the mesh, to no avail)

edit: went back to look at the included skins... All cars have the same gold interior panels, regardless of the color scheme of the car. So if VRC can't change it, nobody can... (and yet the texture-replacement-in-skin-folder works in the CSP showroom...)
