Don´t know why the preview is not generated correctly. We can talk on discord further.

Rss hyperion gt3
A suggestion for new skins for the Hyperion V8 if any artist is willing to add to the community I will be very grateful because there are many skins of other GT-M and the Hyperion V8 I got few but I found some photos of new skins that would be interesting for this car!! Here's the tip!!!

I recently saw some discussion about Windows 10 LTSC here, so I was once again inspired to format my disk and start fresh.

After some thinking, reading and testing, I landed on AtlasOS, with Win11 Pro as base.

And so far, I'm happy. VERY happy. This is the way Windows should have been, stripped of all resource hogging background processes and stuff that nobody wants or needs.

Still, everything works flawlessly, even EA WRC with its invasive anti cheat. CSP preview generation now magically works again, and I can run 70 AI enemies at Le Mans, never dipping below 90 fps. This is golden. AtlasOS ftw.
I love the sound of this, but the cynic in me says it seems too good to be true. Thanks for the heads-up, will investigate further.

My old Win11 had some issues, so just doing a clean reinstall can of course work wonders alone.

I also made sure not to install any bloatware, like Asus Armoury crate or the like, and no installable driver package software, only installed drivers directly in device manager.

And I have a killer setup with an overclocked i5-14600 and an RTX5080, but I have never been able to run things as smooth and fast as I can now. With my previous installation, things prettty much fell apart with 30 enemies.

Getting rid of almost all annoying Windows-crap is also a big win.

A few other minor fixes.
For fun, I made several laps with different Renault cars with your new version : Etoile Filante, Clio Williams, Alpine A442, Megan Trophy II V6, RS01 and R25 F1

In every case it was a nice experience so a big thank to you !

I think that given your specs you are pretty much forced to make AC work in a way or another...

Absolutely, but given the huge increase in performance, it's obvious that a bad Windows install can ruin even the best setup.

I didn't check the performamce with just a clean Windows reinstall, but it would probably have given me a huge boost alone, no doubt.

What I like about AtlasOS is also that it's bssically just a bunch of scripts that removes all the stuff I don't need from your Windows installation that comes from a known and trusted source. It doesn't really add anything like many of the pre-packaged ISOs found here and there, which contain god-knows-what.

Hey guys,
does anyone know if these two skins are available for the Kunos Maserati MC12?

I tried making these nine years ago but the UV wrapping on that car is a complete disaster its near impossible to do complex designs on due to warping. Got in a lot of arguments over terrible templates back when that dlc was in beta.

Hi !
Does someone know to solve this issue ? I have disable rims to see ...
On the left side, brakedisc_fx works properly but on the right side, It seems like there is a misaligned circle where it works and the rest doesn't work.
If I disabled brakedisc_fx, everything is fine without this issue

Thanks !

Many thanks for your response:),
I have looked at the skin and you are right that UV wrapping is not so good.
Many years ago it was a disaster to make such skins yes ,
but now there are programs with which you can skin on the 3D model with Mudbox or Photoshop 3D
https://www.overtake.gg/threads/ski...om-nothing-using-mudbox-and-photoshop.147080/

but you have to be familiar with these programs for complex skins anyway;)
which I am not😢

Ooo.. Pardon and ignore if I'm outing you, but from your sig, you're fronting for Charles on the Patreon?
If so, great to see you here, welcome.
Seems like you've been here for ages, and I'm just blind 😊

If you're keen to make 2D skins for the MC12, that French fella has an Assetto Garage version, for which he's made a sane AO.
Maybe?

He hasn't made a sane AO, he just used CM's AO generator*

Dude's just good at adding .cockpit to cockpit in data folder, whatever that means. Oh and stealing the works of others and keeping it on his site so he can make, like, 5 euros at the end of the day because he's probably too lazy to ****ing work lol (I'm getting ready for marc magnola aka not EASY to drop the world famous poop emoji on this one)

Did a recent CM/CSP update change how track skins are implemented? I used to be able to use different track skins at the same time with no issues, as long as you enabled in order of priority... now it seems like that's now how it works? I cannot seem to enable two skins at once without it getting confused and only loading one. Anyone know what happened? Or am I going crazy? lol

Hi folks does anyone know how to fix shimmering foliage in VR ? ( im on lastest csp and pure) thanks.
hi, if you see it on all tracks now, and it wasn't like that before, you may have changed the "MIP LOD bias" in VIDEO settings?
Try putting it to a less negative number. 0 would be best for having no shimmer, but then other stuff will get too blurry, like the track limit lines. I find that a value of -1 or -0.75 is a good compromise.

If you have the issue only on 1 track, then it's prob a track setting issue, for which I hope someone else here can help you with (and we can all learn from as well).

3 weeks without playing AC.

I've been playing LMU and F12020... and tested EVO new beta too.

Some observations.

LMU drives great. Best GT3 cars by far. Much more enjoyable than ACC and I was able to clock 2:21 at Spa with Aston after rigorous setting tuning. That's 2 seconds faster than my best hotlap time on ACC (which I never really got familiar with). The hypercars drive weird though... when you lock up the brakes the car slingshots sideways immediately. Maybe that's realistic I don't know but they feel weird.

F1 2020: Absolutely SUPERIOR F1 game. Perfect DRS, ERS, tyre/pit tactics, working dynamic weather, pretty good rain physics, brilliantly done safe car, AI intelligence that puts every single "real simulator" into shame. AI can use DRS to even prevent overtaking very smartly. Sure... numb FFB but very precise when set up correctly. Superb, realistic races and lap times and amazing presentation.

EVO: Graphics look amazing but still a lot of work. F2004 is absolutely inferior to AC1 F2004. Not even close. AI cars drive like grandmas after a bottle of vodka. But of course those will improve to the final version (I hope).

Then... back to AC1 and testing RMI's 2004 Spa track.

My god AC1 driving is still so superior to anything else. It's just from different planet. LMU might have mastered the GT3 cars but there's no feeling of car weight in the slow corners.

LMU and AC1 have the best force feedbacks. LMU FFB is directly from RF2. Some say RF2 is better but I'd say nothing beats AC1.

Obviously you need 10+ year old force feedback to create a great racing simulator in 2025, huh? :D

I have a weird feeling that NOTHING will replace AC1... ever. Maybe there won't be another "completely open for modding" racing game ever again as Kunos is not making a dime of people's Patreon pay mods.

AC might be the most complete, a jack of all trade of sorts, and as with every game of that type there are some drawbacks here and there - LMU is miles better when it comes to the protos, for example. In AC they feel cartoonesque; but that's what ya get from third party studios vs workers itk. Also rallying is just plain **** in AC but really who the hell does that in AC when RBR exists ? Same with NASCAR and Indycar racing (thank god we're gonna get dedicated games for them!) or modern BTCC (which have... Idk, weird physics?).

And AC is also great because you can do whatever you want with it. I mainly use AC to port and drive FM3/4/FH cars so I don't have to take the old 360 out everytime I fancy a drive.

Agreed with all this - I do really like LMU for its driving and its AI. However, lack of single-player customisation, the limited track list hold it back (some really nice ones though) and some issues with not using a HuD hold it back for me.

Then, like you, I think AC's AI might not be perfect but it can really hold its own with a bit of work and the right car/track combos. And I use AC for anything 1970s and earlier. Mainly 50s and 60s these days, but folk like Parrilla, Tetri, iMean and others are doing a fab job making them as competitive as they can be.

AMS2 has its moments, but at the moment the AI trains are immersion breaking for me.

Have you tried the RSS GT3s ? I just find it hard to think that LMU gt3s are better than those?
