I have a problem, I hope someone can help me. I haven't started AC for a while, I haven't touched anything. Now everytime I try to do something (practice, trackday ecc...) I see the message "race canceled" and vanilla AC launches. CM refuses to launch acs.exe directly, it always boots up the original launcer instead. I don't know what to do :confused:

EDIT: I've changed the game starter and now it works. Well, more or less honestly. I always used AppID, I've switched to Official and back to AppID and now I can race. Obviously AC now hates me, I've altered the cosimc balance. I can't generate any preview (CM says "Assetto Corsa closed down unexpectedly"). I'm so tempted to unistall everything and throw the SSD out of my window LOL

EDIT 2: I've done an integrity check on Steam, a few files has been downloaded but nothing, no luck. Even AC Evoluzione (v. 1.6) doesn't launch any race. I've done a clean installation and now it works.

The São Paulo Street Circuit is a street circuit in São Paulo, Brazil which hosted the São Paulo Indy 300 between 2010–2013.
The track was 4.081 km (2.536 mi) long and consisted of 11 turns. Even though it was a temporary circuit, it still had a permanent seating capacity of 30,000 people as it passes through the Anhembi Sambadrome. (Wikipedia)

Try also adding this to the end of the config to eliminate the planar shading on trees and shrubs (most noticeably on the bushes):

I'm experiencing a weird issue with 0.2.10 CSP update (probably with 0.2.9 too), when I press the extra options of the car (by default Alt+Numpad 7 and so on) nothing happens. I took a look on the binding settings and tried to rebind the buttons, but when I pressed Alt + Numpad 7 the screen showed me the bind as Alt + Home for Extra A :confused:

Is anyone else having the same issue? Seems like the numpad keys are not working.
 
If anyone needs a starting point to make HD versions of the Alfa Romeo 164 and Lancia Thema 8.32, here they are. Can be converted with Zmodeler 1.07b. I may be able to make HD versions of the textures.

According to his Patreon, LPDesign has the Thema 8.32 on his to do list. I messaged him not too long ago, and he replied as such:

"Hi! yes it is still to be done, first I wanted to release the various versions of the Y10 and Fiat Uno MK2 Turbo, and then release the LP 033 LMH, then the 164 is the Procar version, but it has to win the survey first to be done"

uhm, to check the obvious : did you try just pressing "Num Lock" on your keyboard again? (switches between numbers and the other functions of the keypad buttons, like 7 = home , 9 = PgUp etc... )

If the cameras.ini is in the following folder, the trackside cameras should load without problems.

RELEASED : Porsche GT1 LM96 #25 #26 skins for fiagt_porsche_993_gt1 mod from Assetto Garage. Sorry far from perfect but lack of time on my side. I can share the template if anyone wants to improve it. At least it is a grid filler and better than nothing ;-)

livery.png and preview.jpg can be done in cm or u can choose a picture of ur choice and rename it in the "setting" u want. example: for a audi r8 nürburgring u can use a real life picture of it and u can use it as the preview

I followed this tutorial, but I can't add text. When I save the skin it only appears red, without text

Only track with this issue btw.

I had this issue with my fps but i had it after i installed the latest csp and nvidia driver so i thought it was them .
 
Hi guys, I'm the only one that has noticed a worsening of the sound of shifting with the latest CSP version?
I don't know if this will solve your problem, but while surfing the web in reckless abandon I saw a similar complaint, which they claim to have solved by unchecking this option...

Donington Park(from R3E maybe
Converted from rfactor, but the model seems come from RaceRoom Racing Experience, I'm not sure.This mod features more complete meshes and more realistic slopes than the exit version donington 2018 and 2023.

Guys I rely on you to solve the biggest problem that afflicts my AC: the flickering shadows!
I tried to look for guides, I tried all the parameters in CSP smart shadows, I tried various MSAA settings, nothing doing, I can't solve the problem, I continue to have shadows, both on the ground of the trees, and on the guardrails, this flickering effect, as if the lod is at the minimum terms and this flickering, or squaring, makes my eyes hurt!

Has anyone kindly found a solution?

P.S. I also set the shadows to 6144x and even then the problem is not solved, it is a mix between lod and antialiasing problems.. :(

I used to have the same thing, and it's a pain trying to get complete none-flickering (impossible maybe)...

I played around w the settings and I'm not disturbed anymore by the shadows. I will list here the settings I settled with and are related to shadows.

Give them a try , but all systems are different ... could be what works for me does not mean it's good for you
(I run an NVIDIA 4080s on a Quest 3 w Link cable, you might have a whole different setup...).
