Confused as to why you didn't re-use the interior from the Kunos R8. You are already re-using the wheels from that car. Better the entire car could just have been an .kn5 extension to the Kunos R8 LMS car as the only difference between them are the wing & the placement of the exhaust heh.

there's already an extension for the 2012 LMS Ultra by Chemflummi and it's much nicer visually than this mod. I mean I'm glad with most of the cars F302 does, but idk why he feels the need to make some of these duplicates of cars that have been in the game for over ten years?

This is a bit more of a wider comment, but something that's always bugged me about AC's community is the lack of collaboration outside of like... here, and the collaboration isn't even that good here sometime. The AC community really is just individual creators or small tribes called "teams" who are kind of in their own world and don't care about what each other are doing. That's why we're getting no less than 3 different versions of the Mustang S650 GT3 from URD, RSS and LP Design.

A good version of the Porsche 991.2 GT3 R by any of the paid teams got completely missed because all the big teams care about is the 992 and making the complete WEC grid first or whatever. How does a Porsche GT3 car even get missed like that? it blows my mind.

the devil is in the details, sideskirts, mirrors, dashboard,.. if someone want the specific year model it is quite different; some people wants to see a specific grid, body and skins, so use a "similar" body sometimes is a great idea for the fans, thank you to @JK1977 for every mod!!

I have the technical manual and the homologation papers for the 991.2 GT3 R, if GT Planet wants to make a good version ;)

Skin pack for JK's BMW - some corrected skins, some added, whatever. Maybe more to come but I haven't been arsed for months lol
Features alt kn5 if you want the (crudely added) wheelcovers :)

Shh... it's okay. We've been at this situation for years now and I find it annoying too. I was going to say something similar when I saw the Audi and Ford GTE snippids, but at this point I'm tired of repeating myself over and over. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/assetto-corsa-pc-mods-general-discussion.307899/post-14103646

Just let the modders do what they want...

So, out of 3 post, 2 where rant about modders doing the same cars?

Does anyone have a list of those Netkar tracks (not modded tracks, the genuine one made by Kunos) ?

7 different models, the same car
Porsche 935
I mean those are not really the same car, Yes. based on the same car. But they are wildly different in terms of aerodynamic downforce, power and weight. In that sense it would make sense to make them as separated cars.

R8 not so much
When 'big' studios do the same car three times, yeah that's boring ! But modders who that in their free time ? For free ? I don't see the bad side of it. Not that I have been doing the same...

These cars all exist, one version or another, and yet I wanted to port those. Why ? Boredom I guess lol
URD and VRC have talked with each other to avoid them making the exact same cars. Caddy LMDH car being the last ones according to both of them that will be duplicates. RSS however are stubborn bastards and refuses to talk to either of them and will continue to make duplicates.

However, I still don't see the point in porting the R8 when we already have the exact same car already from Kunos as original content with an accurate interior, and as i said this could just have been an .kn5 extension for it instead. ¯\(ツ)/¯ does not matter either way. Feels like JK's time could have been spent on something else instead that we don't have. Like the 2010 Chevy Silverado Nascar from The Crew 2

Modders can do what they want, its sort of the point, I just mod and don't release anything so i don't have to answer for anyone at all. Asking why a modder has done a car that is already done to death is another way of saying "please can you make me this as i want this".
That IS boring. If you really want something bad enough learn to mod. If not, then just sit and wait, or contact them and see if they would do one for a few shillings... (but not me as i don't do anything i don't want to, even for money)

Also when i saw that Audi i skipped it but grabbed the BMW touring car, just skip stuff you don't want....

Trial Mountain visual upgrade
by Mike08

The OG landscaper has done it again. We finally have a good looking Trial Mountain.

I have ran the PieZello version in my league last year and I and everyone else thought it was fine. Nothing special, but looks all right and is fully functional.

The problem with this RD version was that at version 0.3, it was missing major features, like an incomplete pit lane and boxes, a non-functional track map, sector times not working, incomplete/non-functional track limits, poor AI, etc. It did project to be the best Trial Mountain, for sure, but sadly it was abandoned years ago with the project very much still in an unfinished state - and not just visually.

Has the rest of this track been brought up to racing standards? I read Mike's post in the Patreon and couldn't find any info on whether the actual track features themselves have been updated.

If not, I'll stick with the PieZello for now - I do run a Trial Mountain every now and then.

Still waiting for a non-trash LMP3 from a reputable modder or studio (i.e. not TRR or FSR)...

Been years now...

Hi, has anyone used the "PRO version Safety Car - Rolling start - Full Course Yellow App" app? If so, is it possible to use it for a championship or just for a single race/single weekend? Thanks

Working on correcting the rear wing for the Courage C60 JX and the 2001 C60 Perscarolo.

More work has been done. I have adjusted the rear wings and front splitter in line with their chassis number

2000 Courage C60 Judd Chassis: #N°1

2001 Courage C60 Peugeot Chassis: #N°3,#N°4

Furthermore More I plan on doing a massive update to the Reynard 01Q and 2KQ Mega Pack. The updated Courage C60 pack should come first, since outside of modifying the rear wings of models, the physics are pretty much done.

What's been completed so far
-Reduced inertia on all models
-Updated sounds for GV4 Judd V10 and Mopar V8
-Updated sounds for 2003 Nasamax Cosworth
-Correctly scaled rims and tyres for all models in the pack.
-Updates to suspension and steering for all models.
-Revised Rear Wing for 2003 Nasamax ALMS
-Physics for 2000 Johnson Matthews Reynard 2kQ Judd and ALMS done
-Physics for 2000 Reynard 2kQ Mopar Done
-Physics for 2003 Reynard 01Q Crosworth Nasamax and ALMS done

(I'll probably provide updates for this pack as I move along)

Thank you!
The Newbury version currently available for download didn't look great, so I converted it from source.
Plus, there were a few missing objects.

According to IGCD.net, the following 6 Tracks were included in the game.
・Aosta
・Aviano
・Crema Test track
・Newbury
・Prato
・Trento-Bonde

Yes so with your conversion we seem to have all NKP tracks, even if some are well and truly dated

Thanks again :)

Hi, I have the Pro version, and it's possible to use safety cars in a championship. The creator is still working on it; he's quite responsive, and he recently modified his file so that you no longer need to select the safety car on the next track in a championship. However, there are still random bugs; the safety car sometimes doesn't spawn as expected, but I think his work will result in something stable. There have already been many updates, and it continues. In the Pro version, everything is configurable; there's a very comprehensive settings section. it's going in the right direction
