leave kitchenboy alone guys. he is not hurting anyone on here by venting. everyone on here is frustrated. just because he shows it differently than others doesn't make him any less of a person than everyone else. just getting up the post count is all you guys are doing when you respond to post as such. i have seen alottt worse than what kitchenboy has wrote on here and other sites. most of you will look at the number of thread/post a person has and jump down their throats for doing the same thing people with upteen thread/post has.

Frankly.I know, especially with those pirate low lifes hacking the ps3,the fw debate is entirely plausible. At the same time..they really NEED damage control from PR right now.I mean,to say the situation has degenerated into twilight zone levels of ridiculousness is an understatment.Atleast,to us at GTPlanet. Some guys here are hardcore GT fans.In fact,If anyone even posted plus hundred posts here on the forum,I consider them not casual gamers in the slightest.Honestly..they could even give us the Best Buy demo..and I guarentee you the rage over the delay/new announcement date will subside a bit

Hello, kitchenboy, and welcome to GTPlanet. Please take the few extra seconds to use proper punctuation and capitalization.

Not everyone actually knows good punctuation, or maybe English isnt his first language?

His post was very readable anyway. Why does everyone on the internet assume everyone on Earth is an English expert?

Beside the fact that many members who use English as a second language have extremely good spelling and grammar, you do agree to use correct spelling and grammar when you join the site, and you must abide by that.

So basically if someone isnt that great at English, they cant post here? What a joke.

Its becasue he had something bad to say about PD and Kaz.
Its one of the only arguaments that could be brought against his post:)

Asking why hes so upset:rolleyes:, one would have thought that was fairly obvious by now.

No, if you don't make the effort to speak good English you can leave. Using a capital "I" is not a difficult rule to follow.

Well I'm not going to be a dick and tell people to hit the road for failing to use a capital letter. Seriously, that's pretty damn lame if you need to jump on someone for something so unimportant. I'm pretty sure you can still read an "I" regardless of it's case.

Everyone is so wound up on this forum that people are being attacked for such insignificant issues. His post was 100% readable. If you had trouble reading that post then maybe you're the one with the problem.

Now that is delayed I hope they decide to add some sort of standard cockpit view. I will wait another 6 months if it means a better game.

This guy is getting jumped on for not using a capital "I",
and Kaz gets away scot free!!
Indeed.....Welcome to the GT Planet forums!!!:ouch:

The interwebs is serious business. Seriously though, elitism has no place in a GAMING forum. What are you, 75 years old? Shaking your proverbial fist at all the whippersnappers from Croatia with poor engrish? NOT IN MY BACKYARD WAAA WAAA! Get over yourself.
👍

AUP
You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.
when they signed up and now you're complaining when they don't and are reminded?

Wow. Citing the grammar rules and regulations of an internet forum. I bet you are a blast at parties.

I'll probably hold out some hope until the middle of November. At that point it becomes highly unlikely.

Nobody parties harder than the Dawg! :D

I really don't understand why anyone would argue about sticking to the AUP and using proper grammar and capitalisation. Using the excuse that English may not be their first language doesn't wash either as that's one of the main reason it should be used so that everyone who reads the forum that doesn't speak English as their first language can understand it.

Do other languages not use capital letters and punctuation?

1) We set the standards high so that we don't become another brain-dead idiot vortex.

2) Allowance is made for non-native English speakers. As noted above, many of the people here who speak English as a second or third language actually make much clearer and more readable posts than many of the native speakers.

3) Ignorance of the language is an entirely separate issue from being lazy and sloppy. Posting in txt spk is the latter, not the former.

4) It's in the rules to which you agreed when you started posting here.

No joke.

Adding a standard cockpit view? Fine, but 6 months? No, that is not acceptable in any way, shape, or form.

I'm all for a better game, but I'm not for 6 more months of waiting.

But true, each delay gives them time to improve. Now we have go karts that weren't going to be in until GT6. Wait until March for a release and by then then GT5 will have Monster trucks and Lawnmower racing. Then it will be complete 👍

If it's any consolation, the lack of information isn't down to a lack of interest!

The PS EU Blog getting hammered, ......

...... is taking a HUGE battering from a swarm of 'GT5 fury'......

Who knows, with all this anger flowing into cyber-space, the powers-that-be might well sit-up, take notice and DO SOMETHING other than stonewalling, of course!

Wow - I really don't pay any attention to games news, I am not really a gamer - my interest is in cars, motorcycles and racing (I am a track day addict both 2 and 4 wheels), as such I am surprised at how angry the world is getting about the delays / lack of news.

Not surprised about the denizens of GTplanet, after all, you (we) are GT geeks, but I wasn't expecting the comments on those blogs!

When you've been a member for 7 years, not because you play the game (which I don't, haven't for a year and certainly not buying a PS3 until GT5 is on the shelves) but because it is has a huge variety of quality posters covering a vast variety of topics you can tell me I have no right supporting the owner's rules. 👍

Since this debate just won't end I would like to add my input.

Is that a run-on sentence? Also, the bolded text is not gramatically correct. I guess even the 7 year members make grammatical errors?

I could look at the above poster's previous posts and pick out individual little errors such as "yea"; random words all in capital letters in the middle of a sentence; or in a truly unbelievable fashion, not starting a sentence with a capital letter
But I am not that sad...
Oh damn.
I guess my point is that we all make tiny mistakes from time to time. There is no point in picking out things like that for a member with 12000-odd posts, 99% of which will be good quality (ok enough brown nosing...)

come on dude. are you serious. do a poll on here and find out how many people actually read that stuff. people want to post and respond to post. not read print that requires a magnifying glass. as long as there is respect maintained and no spamming most forums are good to go. I for one did not read every single line. i know what not to do in a forum. i am not 3 years old. being readable is the main thing. everyone doesn't speak english as a first language. at least they try to communicate with the world on here. heck, some people that do speak english can't talk or write correctly. this is not english class.
