Dude. I support this 1 trillion percent. I'm in.

One time I was in the TGTT online and some guys started doing autocross and it was so fun! Though, with those pesky drag racers it was impossible.

Wait, are you talking moving cones by nudging them around? lmao awesome thinking man. I'd show up just to see your work. But I'd love to run it too.

That would be really fuin.

Keep us posted.

I just added a small slalom too. In total, I would have to move a minimum of 14 cones. I could have the course up and running in 20-30 minutes. It involves doing some loops and a figure-8 but it's really fun. :dopey:

Edit: I'll get a course map up ASAP tonight. 👍

I'd like to show up and watch him make it. Just park my car and enjoy.

I'm... very excited now. That looks so cool & fun!

Are we going to do it in a race or free run? Those lap invalidated things are pretty annoying. :ill:

I was running in free run for that, but we would be doing it online. Unfortunately that brings up a few problems.

1) Online physics. I have yet to test it online, so not sure how that will effect it.

2) I want to do it in my lounge to keep strangers out, but then people would have to be on my friends list to compete.

3) If we do it in a public lobby, everyone that signs up can compete but then we have to worry about strangers coming in and wrecking the course.

Some decisions to be made certainly.

I'm thinking the best way to go about this is to set a date about a month from now. On that day, I would open the room in the morning and it would be open all day long. People can come and go as they please and would be allowed to make up to 4 runs during the whole day.

I'm from a small town where we basically just rotated classes all day until we ran out of time, so you were able to get a lot of runs in. That was just run by someone I used to work with. Do you run SCCA? How do they do it? I know you get multiple runs during the day...

Open lobby is a bad idea, but doing it in my lounge limits the number of people that can participate. :(

I'm 15. I don't even drive.

True. I guess you just need a test run. As in, a testing server to see what happens.

Oh, sorry. Thought you knew something I didn't when you asked about multiple runs. A Test lobby sounds like a good idea, I could set that up for next weekend.

I would put GT5 back in the PS3 for this.

:)👍

I just glanced at the SCCA rules and they are too complicated. I'd like to make this as easy as possible, so might just have PP and tire limits and leave it at that. Maybe separate by drivetrain type. I'll get it all sorted out this weekend and get an official thread posted by Sunday night.

This is a cool idea :) and I saw the Flyin Miata video on your channel, man, is that epic! When's season 3 coming, and this autocross will be a league?

Season 3 is still October.

No league for this right now, just one big event in a couple weeks as long as we have a good amount of sign ups.

Updated the video in the first post with a new one. Less stuff on the screen to block the view and the final version of the course setup.
