Origin is PC only, titeled it like that so there would be only Pc players and no confusion, so ... didn't worked lol

I'm on right now.

can´t WAIT!!!

If anyone is looking for a proper team where we train some, meet other platoons etc, hit up Bevo, he will get a server we could train on and stuff.

But only if you really want to have a focus on teamplay.

^I like squading up most of the time, but i don't really like squad like this:

There needs always to be a little space between squad members.
How many times i moewed down whole squads because they were all standing in a square meter.

Best squads i played is 2 by 2. 2 support fire and 2 flanking. Massive destruction.

And sometimes I really like to go One man army :D especially on Deathmatch

But I'm surly up for squads and tactical manoeuvres

I agree :)

Best squads i´ve been in is when we move away from the place everyone is shooting at and instead infiltrate the M coms/flags but take a very stealthy route and everyone keeps each others backs going forward step by step :)

SamppaFIN on origin,and samppa491 on steam..feel free to add me:tup:getting bf3 within a week:)

I'm surprised that noone is concirned about origins. It's some kind of a spy-software that takes pretty much all infos from your PC.
I heard alot of people not buying the game for PC because of this. And there are also alot of trying to sue EA for that. In germany for example it's agaginst the law to do such things...

EA is one big Nazi-club!

^
This is the same everytime, and makes a lot of people angry but their is no alternative if you want to play the game legally.
Your PS3 does the same while you sleep (chip.de showed this)

Steam, and other DRM are the same to some extend.

And don't start with law, we all saw how much the german gouverment gives a crap about your privacy rights and german Domestic affairs minister Herr Friedrich likes the Stasi (bundestrojaner - Statestrojan) and how much was done in the last month to encounter it. NONE, BKA even defends it (with all the illegal activites like the sceenshot). CCC gets sued because they allegedly prevent investigations, which were illegal from the beginning,...
Are you on Facebook and use google as a search engine?
If yes you already are a glass-citizen

I for one can say, I can google myself and find absolutly nothing. I will even request once my personal file that google gathered over my IP

EDIT:
Now googled some bits, the problem was present in the eula of august, most of us didn't even install it in that time. Now it is not that different from others EULA's but still not perfect.

One thing is sure:
No panic. You are legally pretty well protected by the EU.
Now let's say this hypothese:
Your PC is full of illegal counterfeit games. Origin detects it . EA wants to sue you. All data collected is illegal and therefor NO panic.

And for people saying you sign the eula and should have read it: All contracts containing substance in disaccordance to the law are nil.
German tribunals already sentences that end users can not read all Eula's or have the right to forfeit a certain paragraph. In case of doubt judgement is made in favor of the end user

If you really want to be sure about your privacy there are enough programs out there to protect you, hide your IP(hidemyass), block origins rights on the PC to only the necessary folders (put it in a sandbox, can give you a tuto via PM),....

You're absolutely right.
Personally, I don't have a problem with it, but I was wondering that noone here mentioned it.

Also I play on PS3, so origin isn't my cup of tea. But I got really surprised of they way EA treats their customers. It sounds even worse compared to facebook or others....

But anyways, I got nothing to hide, so it won't bother me at all. I just wanted to point it out!

thanks for the detailed comment though ;)

I didn't know and I am glad you posted it. Will put Origin in a sandbox now to play ;) as I did with Steam already.

Haven't anything to hide, but it is just against my principales to give my info out. (for free rofl). I think things like that don't get a lot of attention in general anymore. Now that people post on the internet when they are taking a dump, but complaining when the neighbor sees in their flat.

When i started internet in the 90's nobody used their real names, now if you don't have a facebook page a boss or a girl can google, they think you are a shady person trying to hide something. Sad.
