im having issue loading the game.. I booted it up the first time everything was fine.. I installed the game onto the HD and downloaded all the pre order bonuses and activation codes.. Then I try and boot the game up again and right after the trophy load screen my system locks up..
I have to reboot the system.. This happenes everytime I try and load the game. Never have I had this happen on any of my games. Anyone got any suggestions?

Been having a blast so far.. Some games feel too empty though but I think it's because of the size of the maps.. I think that's why I'm enjoying Rush so much now

I'm trying to get my kid online on the 360, but it will not let me log into multiplayer. I put in the code and downloaded the activation thing. Tried to log in and it wouldn't let me. Any answers?

I haven't played on any of the really big maps yet. The largest one I've played on is Operation firestorm which was fairly average in size. I enjoyed the Seine crossing and Grand bazaar maps pretty well.

Hey can anyone tell me if there is a language filter for the multiplayer portion on 360 or ps3? ??anyone?

This game is brilliant! The storys good and interesting, the coops fun and challenging, and best of all the multiplayer is amazing as I expected filled with teamwork and a balanced overall feel. 10/10

Buy yourself an old wired 360 controller of ebay, and just plug it into your pc and set it beside you. When you get in a vehicle use the controller, then lay it down and go back to mouse. Best of both worlds.

I had thought of doing something like that, but with a Dual Shock PS3 controller instead (primarily, because I have two of them on hand). The only problem with the idea is I have not looked into how to connect the Dual Shock to my PC.

Corey and I can talk to each other fine in game, the problem is the squad/friend invite system is till broken, because they try to make the teams perfectly even.

How? I can only hear about half of what my friends are saying and same for him hearing me. But, we only tried one game.

It can be done, but i hear it's a real pain. I tried several different ways to get the ps3 controller to work, and I failed everytime.

It sure would be nice if a PS3 controller would work since I have two of them. That would save me a bit of money.

They do work but they're a bit sketchy. You just use some input thing to and download the driver for the controller (you have to run it wired through the charging cable.) Me and a friend did it for the Beta but once we got one thing to work, another stopped working.. And then getting prone/crotch to work on R3/L3 is difficult as well. It's possible, it's just a lot of work

not sure if the mods will allow to post this here or via pm but u have to set or IE as default browser and enter a certain proxy and port adress and then run origin, once origin is running, run bf3 and it will verify the release date check up and ur done. remove the proxy again and restart origin and there u go

proxy 162.88.40.109
port 8080

Great stuff, to bad i´m off for working atleast 12 hours today ;)

Yeah I feel like jets are nearly impossible to control in a dogfight..

Now that I was reading the mic problems, it seems to be something in the game. I was in a squad with 2 other friends and I could here them somewhat fine if it wasn't breaking up, no one else could hear me worth a damn though

thats disappointing to here about the ps3 issue. Does anyone know if there is a language filter on the multiplayer portion like in bad company 2

What do you mean with language filter? Something like mute the squad mates?
I played BC2, but I'm not sure what you mean right now.

About the mic problem, I had that too, but I just played a short time online yesterday, so I can't say much to it.

Otherwise, the game is AWESOME!
I just have to get used to the controls. They seem a bit weird when you played BC2 before. Also the Choppers and jets.....hell, they are hard to fly. My first attempt with the chopper was an instand backflip with suicide in the end. Invert FTW:lol:

I understand what you mean; these guys just never play to the objective.

Play conquest. Its less of an issue if you don't have to plant/defend bombs.

I had such a hard time the first games. Nearly every round was lost. My K/D is something around 0.7 at the moment.....and all because I try to capture flags or arm/disarm mcoms.

People really need to learn how to play as team...or at least play the objective! :grumpy:

THere was a language filter on BC2 that would stop the cursing on the multiplayer side( not people but the NPCs)I was wondering if it was implimented on BF3

Not sure if you are new to the Battlefield series. But when playing online. K/D is usually the last thing most people think about. Myself, and all of the colleagues I play with, play for the objective.

ahh, ok! No idea so far, sorry. I haven't even seen it in BC2 though.

I played BC2 since its release. Never touched a MW game, besides Demos or something. So, I'm not new to the Battlefield series ;)
And I'm not concirned about my K/D, I just claimed that everyone else seems to be. Noone really played the objective or tried to cap flags. My K/D in BC2 was around 1.2 or something. Everything thats over 1.0 is fine for me, but if I get killed more than I kill people, I somehow get frustrated. But I always play the objective, or try to defend teammates, vehicles etc... ;)

and maybe it's too early to say this, but it seems that alot of MW campers are on the Battlefield now and try their 1337 sniperz skillz here:boggled:
But thankfully the controls are pretty hard in BF3. I don't think we will see many quick-scoper or similar in the PS3 version. Pc, maybe, but on the PS3 the controls are way more difficult than it was in BC2 IMO.

Yeah, most of the guys that switch from CoD to BF immediately play the game like CoD. Which is a shame, because it's annoying and relatively ineffective on most game types.

You guys still havent answered my question is it on BC 3 and what does playing COD have to do with my question ?
