Which is your favourite GT500 car and which do you think is objectively the best and the most flexible to use round a number of tracks?

As a follow up do you have any links to good GT500 tunes?

Favorite - Arta NSX

"Objectively" The best (Fastest) - Epson NSX or Motul GTR (Both max out over 700hp)

The MR GT500's are definitely harder to push to the edge due to the rear weight bias. So maybe that makes the Motul Autech the 'most flexible' but it all comes down to preference tbh..

Tune database here: https://sites.google.com/site/gt5tune/home always done me well

Which Arta NSX? I think there is one in the NCD and I've seen them in the UCD. Thanks!

The Xanavi GT-R 711BHP 1100kg. Try the Yellow hat version as well.
Its lighter than the rest above as it does not have the weight penalty added.

I find it simply silly that they decided to add the weight penalties to the cars as stock... Kinda makes it difficult to have a close race... Aren't the cars very similar, so any penalty is a result of a better driver?

I like the Stealth GT-R myself, but if you dont have it, go for the Xanavi or Calsonic. I think the Calsonic feels a bit more urgent, and faster than the others, but that could just be me.

My personal Favorite of the non-pre-order is the TOM'S SC430, but it really is not in any way competitive against any other stock Super GT car... But it looks great!

I use the NCD one. but theres nothing exceptional about it.. I'm just an Autobacs fan.

I tend to stick to 600 pp GT500 servers. So top HP means nothing to me.. Like I said, its all preference.

I've won many races in the Lexus online, I find it an incredibly easy car to drive, the easiest by far. May not be the fastest at every track, but overall it's still an excellent car.

If you're just looking to run in A-Spec or time trials, any GT500 is fast but whichever has the most hp available when maxed out, will generally be the fastest. But if you're looking to find which one is fastest at standard GT500 hp levels, it's a very close race for the newer cars.

According to the description. if 1 car frame wins to many races its has the penalty added to next season and Epson car won 5 races out of 9 in 2007.
It common in most motor sports.
Nascar did the same to the Ford Taurus design when it became clear that it had been to well engineered when it was first added to Nascar they gave it more weight to keep Nascar close racing. Both series are supposed to be about the driver and team work NOT the car body.

Side topic
If your using B-spec,
The Drivers LOVE the Raybrig NSX default car more than any other GT500. This is not a joke. They realy do drive that car better over all other GT500 cars at default settings.

Wouldn't the Raybrig be the fastest NSX, rather than the Epson? At least in stock form, since the AI NSX's that are in front always seem to be the '06 Raybrig and the '06 Takata Dome. The Epson is mostly at the back.

The Motul Autech is faster than the Xanavi? Gotta try that one out then, never driven it yet, always take my Xanavi, hehe.:)

If you want my opinion, stock for stock, they are all the goddamn same. Pick which one you think looks coolest and go drive it

But if maximum amount of horsepower is important to you, theres a large discrepancy among the cars

IMO, I think all of the GT500 cars I've bought are easy to drive. They're fine completely stock from the dealership (the premiums at least). They have almost-neutral steering and good weight distributions.

favourite: castrol toms supra, vintage but awesome
Quickest, more dependent on setup, but generally I'm best in one of the gtr's

I like the Xanavi Nismo Z '06. Good balance, around 630-640HP so it's rather fast too. And for kicks, the NOMAD Diablo, although it can get twitchy some times :)

In stock form everycar gets me almost the same Lap-Times.
But tuned the Time difference becomes bigger (but not that much).

My favourites are the YellowHat Supra and the Petronas Lexus.
My fastest is the MotulAutech GTR. But the NSX´s are close to the GTR´s but aren´t so smooth.
