There's the Ferrari La Sarthe event for helmets (and money, of course), but I can't find (or decide) one for suits! Help me out a bit 👍

i do the nurburing - nostalgia. it takes a little over 7 minutes. it's a little long but my favorite track. $500,000+ too.

For the ultimate method of obtaining suits, there is trading over at the Marketplace. 👍

The second best way that I have found is to create a 2nd PSN account.

1. Backup the new account game save to a USB flash drive.

2. Obtain at least 2nd place in the new Time Trial and Drift Trial events.

3. With 8 total events, you would receive 16 suits.

4. Gift them over to your main account and restore your save game on your 2nd account.

5. Repeat for as many suits as you want. ;)

You might get some repeat suits, but at least you'll be hauling them in 16 at a time, instead of one at a time.

maybe it's not the fastest way, but in my opinion one of the most enjoyable - nurb gp (gt 500)

I do Compact Cars Seasonal. Tokyo Route 246. It takes a little under 6 minutes, ~5:30 if you tune your car to max.

If you want the fastest one, then you should take the DTM, take Eiger Nordwand track, and use the Audi, cant remember what the model the Audi is, but its the fastest car around that track, and you can get under 5 min per race (5 laps) i did that a lot before ;)

I've started to grind for the new helmets and suits too, and if you don't care about money, there's nothing to beat the Cape Ring time trial (if you haven't done it already). It takes me a reload and 1:20 to get one helmet and two suits.

(huge list of instructions)
I tried this method this morning, and it was pretty nice - just a tad hard to do some of the events with the Chromeline Jag and some level 0 cars

I'll try this a bit later, thanks 👍

Now this sounds nice - what car are you doing it with?

Yes, your initial start with the new account will be tough, but if you quickly run a couple of other Seasonals for money first, you can obtain/tune more cars and dial them in to use for the events. Then, it should be pretty easily repeatable from there.

Or you can just put up a few cars from your main account and share them for use on your 2nd account. ;)

For the Cape Ring, any high-end race car will do. Minolta, Sauber, Pescarolos, etc. If you look at the Leaderboards, many are using downtuned FGTs.

I'm using a downtuned FGT, it's easiest.

Actually, I'm doing both current time trials now. On my alt, I reload, do both time trials (takes less than 3 minutes) for 2 helmets and 4 suits, send what I haven't got to main, repeat.

UPDATE: I guess all this is irrelevant now. No more helmets and suits to win. These have all been replaced with paints and horns.

Hmm, as others have stated, I guess this is due to the new DLC stuff being prematurely awarded during Seasonals, but then that means at this time, there is NO way to obtain a helmet or suit in the game, right?

Just found this one out last night thanks to my son. A very early seasonal, the 4WD challenge. They added suits and helmets to all of the old ones.

There are helmets for 3 laps at Rome and Suits for 3 laps at Laguna Seca. Best part is it's an old one where there's no tuning restrictions. So in the Alfa or Subaru Touring car you can run 3 at Laguna Seca in right around 4 minutes. If you have an Escudo Trial car, you can do LS well under 4. And it's a fun track.

With 200% rewards, it's about 160 grand as well. Not bad for the time. So in 20 minutes you can scrape up 5 suits, make 800 grand and fully refresh your used car dealership.

I've gone back to the Le Festa Cavallino Circuit de la Sarthe 2009 and am earning a race suit and 336,000 credits (200%) in just over 3 minutes. The reward for this track used to be helmets but now (apparently) it's switched to suits.

If you used to grind this track for $$ back in the day of triple reward, I would recommend you replace your Enzo/458/599 etc., with a new one. My Enzo was so worn out that I was losing time and crashing unnecessarily.

As TP# said, the Ferrari LeSarthe 1 lap race now has suits instead of helmets. I think they've switched up the gifts for 1st in all the events since 2.0 was released.

Just took the new DLC GTR into the Supercar seasonal just to get some miles on the car whilst building some money back up, and after the money and credits went in it hung slightly,,,,,, then revealed I'd won a helmet!!

Heads up people - All the seasonal racing events now have gift prizes, including the ones that were released before the gifting processes started!
I've checked all the still available races, right up to the FF challenge etc, and they all now give prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes. Sure, the money at these levels isn't all that great even with the multiplier, but you can take a much wider variety of cars in and get gear!

I second this. The German Eiger Nordwand Seasonal is my favorite race to grind.
