Hello,

I need your advice.

I will participate in a Super GT300 championship but I don't know what car to choose ? In your opinion, what is the best car ?

Thank you in advance for response.

I chose the Autobachs Garaiya GT300 and I can recommend it. Fun car with lots of grip.
Just be aware that the top speed on the GT300 cars isn't as high as other racingcars.

Depends how hard you push them. My group has found the rx7's to usually be the fastest. Usually any version seems a bit better than everything else.

RE Amemiya FD3S RX-7 or RE Amemiya Amemiya AsparaDrink RX7 ?

My driving is quite aggressive

I've actually been using my Corvette ZR1 C06 LM Race Car. It also works in the Super GT 500 races.
Whilst the game'll allow that car to enter, i don't believe it's an actual GT300 or 500 car. I think the ZR1 CO6 is either GT2 or GT1 which is a different series.

The GT300 version of the Impreza (I forget the exact name) is extremely easy to win with. It has 4WD, even though the description said it was changed to FR in real life to compete in Super GT! Bug? It almost feels a little like cheating though...

Set it to 100% power through the rears instead of the ratio it comes with.

Yeah, I knew it wasn't a 300 or 500 car but as you said, it let me enter the car. This is my workhorse for grinding away.

The #43 Autobacs ARTA Garaiya '03 won four/five races for me, and it's only 250,000 credits. That yellow RX-7 was the rabbit and needed some blocking on the last lap. Not bad AI, you need to be patient and get good consistent laps down, once you pass the RX-7 it pushes you back. All in all a good series.

the Lexus IS350 excellenet car.For A bargain buy the Toyota Superautobacs Apex MR-S for 75k.It's a very stable car and it's smaller size helps you get thru traffic but you may have to add some power to it. The C-West Silvia is another 75k car that isn't too bad.
All of the Suburus are very stable and drive very well. The Gt300 is my favorite series to play with and I own pretty much all of the cars

I love the Subaru BRZ GT300. I bought the base model so I could paint it and number it. Won the championship easily with it in stock form.(I had a poor result in the first race as a result of being punted off the track but I still won the championship and came back and did this race again at the end to get gold)

Same here. BRZ GT300. Golded all races first try except Twin Ring. Got 4th there and still won the championship.

First off, you were able to enter it in SGT300 anyway 'cause it's not entirely restricted to GT300 cars. The only restriction is a limit of 550PP.
Secondly, I know that the ZO6 is a GT3-spec car. GT3 cars are also allowed to compete with other GT300 cars on a restrictor plate.
Thirdly, I use the RE Asparadrink RX7 as my car of choice. Not only does it sound AMAZING, it can (with a Stage 3 engine upgrade) also act as a GT500 car.
(I know, I actually entered a stock RE base model in the GT300 championship, and used an RX7 TC in the GT500 equivalent. Still, that was before)

The ZO 6 is actualy a (PD)-LM spec car not GT3.
There are three versions of the Corvette C6 Race Car in real life, both very similar:
The GTE (GT Endurance) spec car: Used in ALMS, 24 Heures Du Mans, etc. Closest representation in game is the Z06 LM Race Car.
The GT3 spec car (the one I mentioned): Used in FIA GT Series, Super GT (GT300 class), other GT3-based series. Closest representation in game is, yet again, the Z06 LM RC.
The GT1 spec car: Formerly used in the 24hLM (GT1 class) and FIA GT1 World Championship. Closest representation in game is the ZR1 LM Race Car.

Now that i can get behind. ;)

I do like you, drive the Vette when possible in GT races. With some power restriction and added weight they are very good competitors. Both ZR1 LM and ZO6 LM are around just as fast when they are give the same power and weight. But the ZR1 LM sounds just way-way better. I don't know what PD was thinkig when they gave the ZO6 LM that poor engine sound.

Funny btw is that the GT1 and GT3 boddies look very alike, while the (now old) GT2/GTE uses the ZR-1 style body with wider fenders.

Wish we could have the real C6R and the new C7R, but i think Forza has the rights to that atm.

Both RM Vettes are "tuned by PD" and have way to much horsepower. As far as i know the GT1 Vette had 590 HP, and the ALMS GT2 about 490 HP.

The PP limitations in GT6 are, in my opinion, ridicioulus. You can do the GT500 in a LMP1 car (R18 TDI for ex.).

Well in the GT300 i took the wedssport chelica, because i like how it sounds and it is pretty easy to drive :p
