i meant pop punk. Ive listened to "punk" for years now, and its always changing. I mean blink is not real punk, its 3chord pop punk. You wanna hear punk? Go download some anti-flag. I used to listen to it, but it got old and i grew up. Its all 6th grader pump up music. I mean i still listen to stuff like that, mostly emocore, emopunk, screamo(if ANYONE knows what im talking about) but whateever you listen to is cool w/me

I'd like to agree with you, they used to be one of the best punk bands, but they kinda sold out and gradually turned into a more poppish band.

As it comes to Box Car Racer, Tom got it from a band he saw when he was younger, he tried tracking the old band members down to give them free stuff to prevent a law suit. "I Feel So" and "All Systems Go" are kick@$$ songs!

I used to like Green Day too. Their old stuff was awesome, but then they went 'the way of the blink' and sold out. Same with the Offspring....

blink just sucks. people who think it's punk ought to have their definition of punk updated. music is almost impossible to define because there are so many different kinds and it's all up to people's opinions. but whatever you want to say blink is not punk. it's just pop. blink never was punk. it never had anything to do with punk. it was always pop. always. if you want to know what punk is...really...go listen to anti flag, or good riddance.

i guess it depends on what you define as 'punk' then. i never thought blink was punk, it was always happy songs about skateboarding or getting dumped and stuff like that. i think it was a lot better when scott was the drummer, at least he played more like punk, unlike travis...who is better than scott, but ever since he got signed on their music started airing on mtv, like there were what...4, 5 video's off enema of the state? and then like, 4 off take off your pants...
