TheDoctorUnlock endurance events if you haven't already, Win El captin (Not very hard), get the Toyota 88C-V. Arguably the best of the LM/ Group c cars and you get it for three.
you guys are nuts. the toyota is junk, really tiny power band, terrible brakes and poor handling, low grip, high wheelspin....ViperCLK-GTRIt is really a great car.
///M-PowerI think you will have to find out for yourself. Many of the LMP/Group C cars are very similar in overall performance, but they all have different characteristics and personalities. A car that appeals to you and works well with your driving style might be a poor choice for someone else, just as a car that seems slow to you or which you just do not like might be a good racer for another perosn.
Hun200kmhIIRC the BMW win at Le Mans '99 wasn't because it was the fastest car (it wasn't), but because it was the most reliable. The Toyotas had problems, the Mercedes team retired from the race because their cars were flying all over the track (literally, LOL), and I think the Audis had problems too.
So, if the cars are acurate, don't expect the BMW to be as fast as the other LM or LMP cars available. And since cars in the game don't have mechanical problems (and the Mercedes don't fly), you won't even have the "endurance" advantage of those beauties.
Anyways, they're awesome cars and Le Mans winners.
VipFREAKYeah I remember catching Speed T.v. one time when they were Speedvision and were actually showing decent racing events. The BMW was dominating pretty easily... man those were the days. Now I have Speed T.v. we have things like Nascrap![]()

PhatFatWin an F1 car then save up and buy the black race cars. And buy the other cars later later.
F310BAssuming GT4 resembles real life trends, the Sauber Mercedes C9 will be faster on most tracks than the Toyota 88-CV.
I think the reason people rant about the 88-CV is because it is very easy to win, compared to the Sauber C9 (in the NTSC/PAL version).

The Bimmer is waaay better than that p.o.s. toyota. You won't be driving any of them once you get the Sauber Mercedes C9 though...![]()
So does anyone have an answer?f1kingQuestion?!?!?...... Due the LMP black cars handle as well as the new ones, or are they weaker in anyway?? Due the have the same power? Im about to reach the day when they all show up in the used car show rooms so Just wondering if I should even get them if they are not as powerful...

Thank you..G-T-4-FanUsed cars always are less powerfull than the new ones, but I think it really doesn't matter, you can do a new oil change and a body refreshment or something and it'll work out good enough for me at least👍

So basicaly I can be competitive with them right?
