I found a purple 31 corrosive automatic sniper in PT1, think it dropped off the final boss (who shall remain nameless for spoiler reasons, even if obvious final boss is obvious) though so that doesn't really count as finding it during the playthrough.

But it does probably mean that Terra would drop level 48-50 loot in PT1, so that disproves the theory!

Also 'obvious final boss is obvious' is kind of a spoiler. OR IS IT? I think that fixed it. OR DID IT? Now they just don't know what to think. OR DO THEY? And so on, the perfect anti-spoiler technique.

Terra would drop 47-49 in both playthroughs but in 2.5 it would be 50.

No way you could finish at 21 unless you had a 50 buddy helping. I finished at level 34 (just!).


Pretty sure Terra is 50 in PT1 anyway so in theory he'd drop the same quality of loot?

Im 37 and still finishing up some loose ends in PT1.

Edit: Is there any way to fly the buzzard or get it? Nevermind, Just looked it up and guess you can't. Really sucks.

I know that, but I was saying for upgrades. I got 13 eridium left over and I can't buy nothing else.

I have over 80 Eridium. I am sure DLC is going to allow us to use the Eridium. Trading with friends would be nice. My friend had a great idea. Maybe award us with something. Maybe every 100 Eridium = golden key?

I was thinking maybe they could have a thing where you could pay (with Eridium) to increase the level requirement of any item you own, so if you wanted you could keep a weapon you like with you, and have it be actually useful, throughout the game. It would be way too expensive to be worthwhile but could be an option and it could scale with the item's level so upgrading a level 10 to 11 might cost a handful of Eridium but 49 to 50 would cost close to 100. Just a thought.

Going off of that it also should include the rarity of it also. There is a nice orange I got very early that I would like to use more.

Was really disappointed me and a friend just did final boss on PT1 and didn't get a single orange item. The funny thing was while he was playing on his own with a new character the first boss he killed dropped an orange!! lol

I've never seen an orange drop ever (only had them as quest rewards) but a friend of mine got an orange from Knuckledragger on his first playthrough, solo too. Terramorphous is the one I've got high hopes for, only seven more levels and most of True Vault Hunter left to go...

I do wish they'd release these codes at a more EU-friendly time, if the forum time is right you posted that at midnight GMT... What's stopping them from doing the codes two hours earlier? Maybe they're doing it intentionally to limit the server load, but still, US players who are on the ball probably have about ten keys by now, if not more!

Some have over 20, due to a shift glitch right when they started doing it, where you can redeem the same code over and over for a key. Which has been fixed.

I've just beat the last boss and it was suprinsigly easy. A lot easier than what I expected. The big robot couple with the brutal transporter was much harder for me. The ending was ummm short.

I just need to beat hyperion dome now, kinda struggling with that one. Terra is out of reach atm.

I just finished the final round of the hyperion dome, seems like a powerful sniper, a corrosive pistol, slag shotgun, and a fire smg did the trick, plus an explosive rpg, those super badass thingys what drove me nuts, but I got it done.

well I was on #4 which I beat, but I keep failing on #5 because I do stupid mistake. I was at the last wave, I only had to take off a few stuff but I got hit and finish in lava grrr...

Just got one more mission in pt1 but that would have to wait. Now it's into playthrough 2 and level 38

Edit: Mark your calendars for October 16th, First DLC to come out. Gaige. If you Pre-ordered, it is free, if you didn't it will cost $9.99 👎 or 800 microsoft points. While this is one for the pre-orders I was reading that any more characters would be non-season pass DLC. 10 bucks for another character is a bit steep, but I guess that is one way to keep the Badass ranks going.

Also Torgue DLC may be in the works which will add another 10 hours+ to each playthrough, and more playable characters maybe also in the works.

Edit2: Borderlands 3 is not in development yet! So quite asking.

I've also read that they're planning to include DLC vehicles, that could be fun. Or expensive. As long as it's not purely cosmetic I will probably end up buying all the DLC for this. Characters are probably worth the $10 because you (presumably) get three full skill trees, a load of customisation options, new voice work and... Er... Well, that's still enough to persuade me to throw money at them.

I'm going to be getting the Season Pass ASAP, too.

You keep everything and if you were lucky enough you would most likely be maxed out on everything before playthrough 2,

While going on and saving roland in pt2 I was doing 210K damage on a sniper critical.
Just about level 40 now and still slowly picking away.

I just purchased the Season Pass on PSN, used my first golden key tonight and have 12 remaining, have three separate games going each with a different character class and my wife has the fourth (Siren), and will be getting a fifth playable character in less than two weeks. Gosh I love this game. We are taking our sweet time playing it though. Furthest character is level 16 and that is fine by me. We try to do 3-4 side missions for every story mission we do and sometimes just get lost looting and raiding camps.

Can you imagine this game is they had competitive co-op where you manned and defended camps from other gangs all the while having specific missions and things to accomplish? Maybe similar to RDR multiplayer, not really sure I never played it. Could be something to dream for for the next gen Borderlands.

It kinda has competitive co-op with the loot system, If you play with friends then thats not a problem but if you have little or no friends that play then single player is the way to go I guess.
