NOTE:
Definately good for gold at the FR challenge at Apricot Hill. It handles the curves of that track as if it were tuned there. TC 0 is effortless on cs tires. I think the tune sheet is missing Intake tuning so I added that, and adjusted power limiter to reach 500pp. Now of I could only learn how to be faster....

Have you tried hitting that little X button yet? It is amazing are gaining speed :) Just kidding, Smooth is key to speed when you use CS tyres, go too fast and the rear will slip a tad and you will lose speed, keep it all neat and tidy, nail the corner entry and your exit speed will be 5-10mph faster. Instant time bonus if you can maintain that speed increase through the section of track. :)

I will check on the intake when I get the chance, but that should be a 525pp tune. For the TT, I used the GTR and found it quite capable. Was up big over @shaunm80 and @Otaliema at the time I did it. Only 2 laps by the way, and the were using the Series One. I am to understand, though, that Shaun went back and used the CSL to top me be only .002. But I have not checked since I got the gold.

0.003 actually.. :) and yes, Series One is great but the CSL is quicker somehow for me.

NOTE:
Thanks for another great tune! Finally achieved gold in the 600pp Ascari Seasonal using this.👍:)

I've a hard time tuning 4WD cars.Lambo's are very difficult to tune.Do you have any suggest?

4WD cars are difficult because they are different, too much power pushed forward causes a push or understeer like front wheel drive cars. But it can be used to help tame very loose rear heavy cars like Lambo's. Difficult to explain but I will try.

First, what I would suggest, is trying to tunes. My 550pp Gallardo (here), and a FITT tune from @Thorin Cain of a Murcie SV (here). My tune is not bad but should help you see my approach, @Thorin Cain 's is probably the best Lambo tune I have personally ever driven and it has some stock parts. Take Thorin's to Midfield and drive for as long as it takes to get comfortable with it. That will give you an idea of how a really good one feels and the advantage 4WD can give.

Second, LSD and centering diff are huge. Use them. LSD decel can really help control the rear if you set it higher, leave at 20 and slowly climb until it gets too far then come back down. Center diff can also be used. For high hp, lower front setting such as 10:90 will make the car handle like an MR, higher front will calm the rear from sliding but will induce some understeer. Settings like 45:55 or 50:50. But higher will allow for some really good launch out of corners, mid corner will suffer and sometimes entry.

I would set the springs first to a starting point, higher in the rear. Put all dampers at 5/5, and ARB at 4/4. Set toe to -0.05/0.20. Then concentrate on getting the LSD and Center Diff where you want them. If you use ballast, don't put it all the way forward, 35-40 position should help balance the car. For LSD, start with something like - intial 8/10, accel 20/20, decel 10/20, and Center Diff at 40:60. Play with LSD and center diff until you get the car mostly where you want and play with suspension after you are satisfied. 4WD takes longer, but if you start there you will be heading in the right direction.

I may be wrong and others may do it differently, but that's how I do it. If you want a short cut, car of the month for March was the Gallardo and there were some really fun tunes, you can find them here you can look at the settings and read reviews to help see how others set theirs up. Then there is Car of the Month January here where the R33 GT-R was featured, again you could look at setting and reviews. That should help I hope. And if you need more, or have more questions, I will try to help. But seriously, try Thorin's Tune if for nothing else but the pure enjoyment of it. :D

Good luck, and thanks for starting what I hope will be another 1000 posts :sly:

@Bowtie-muscle - I posted a Lambo SV '09 tune in the seasonal thread a few days ago. I think that you might get on with it quite well and should get you gold in the event. If not, you can tinker with it to make it better all around. You don't wanna miss out on the credits for this event and another Enzo Ferrari for you garage.. :)

I will try and find the time, obviously, I got silver and got out. May have to revisit.

Sounds good to start, if you have tried it already then try a few changes one at a time and see which helps. If not, try it first for a few laps then try the following:
Increase accel, sounds weird but 4wd can handle more, like 16/16 or higher.
Dampers at 4/7 comp, 6/4 ext.
Then try torgue split at 35/65 and 25/75. See if either helps, if not go back to 30/70.

Then tell me what you are feeling, what's the tune doing.

Then try torgue split at 35/65 and 25/75. See if either helps, if not go back to 30/70.

Then tell me what you are feeling, what's the tune doing.
I'll try what your have suggested. When I was tuning its was very tail happy and it would turn and then spend out.It wanted to drift on me.

The changes work a little bit but getting on the gas out of corners. Its a little tail happy.I tested at Spa:failed Ascari:Pass Nurburgring GP/F :Pass

Ok, we are getting somewhere. Now try raising rear ride height 5 or ten.

What is your weight at, I'm gonna see if I can get in my ps3 later and see if I can do anything with it.
