Bowtie's Speed Shop : Ultimate Corvette Collection!

I think I'm going to come shopping in your garage later and take your Stang entry for a drive. A perfect 10 from Biffa3. Well, thats sold me straight off. It is safe to say that your tunes so far in this competition are really good and I may need to think outside the box for the next event. :) Wishing your luck for the rest of the Stang reviews too.

Firstly, This tune at 550PP is excellent. I have just tested it for a lap or two at Willow Springs. I can see why Biffa3 liked it so much. Secondly, I removed all the power parts, set the power limiter to 87.2% and reset the transmission (I will post the transmission setup later in this post) and the PP was 500PP on SS tyres. I tested this on the Autumn Ring Seasonal and it worked a treat. Very easy to drive and get consistent laps without any effort. A great 500PP SS tune too!

From the "TC" versions so far, maybe the one a bit unstable... The 2nd gear is short, causing some rear tyre spin. Believe it's not related to LSD...

Despite, still a fun car and fast car to drive! :)

Fastest lap in tuning was 1:25.357, only used 2nd gear once. If you need to use 2nd to go faster, try short shifting into 3rd out of slow corners to tame wheel spin.

This is a good tune that I am overall happy with, some of the lap times testers got out of it were faster than me:embarrassed:.....unfortunately I ran into some tuners who were just faster.

Mr. B,

This one qualifies as TC? Or FITT rules?

That was a FITT tune, you should read the reviews before trying, I have a 630pp Launch Edition in the works but have not had the time to post. Plus I still am not 100% happy with it. For the 630pp Touring Cars, try them in the GT3 races as I am not sure touring car events allow over 600pp. I know there are two events they can enter but not sure what the other is at the moment. I liked the Viper but it did not fare to well in that challenge.

And you painted those babies BLue, love them in Blue:tup:👍 and questions are never boring and the feedback is always appreciated, even when they are not so positive like some of my FITT reviews. I grow from it.:)

Edit: Forgot to mention that they were originally tuned with 0.0 camber and changed later, may need to go back to 0.0 as I have not driven them in some time and I do miss them and the C7.

👍 Roger that. Will check the reviews. The 600PP WTCC in IA allow these 2, its a 650PP... I asked about the Viper and the rear spin, because if you check my signature for the Viper replica I did (pre-1.09) I think the spin was minimal... But i'll read the reviews and perhaps do a small test on her... :)

And you painted those babies BLue, love them in Blue:tup:👍

Absolutely, I always try to respect the tuners choice (paint and race numbers)... Besides they look awesome!

LOL, jokes aside, Mr. B, those are 2 wonderful tunes. Both fast and stable, with that little fun controlled rear slide and both way competitive... Proper TC cars! 👍

Note: Just detected a tiny bit of understeer on fast corners, maybe has something to do with a low front ride height?

Will leave feedback on both ladies with camber 0/0 asap... 👍

The C7 should be fun, rim color not important. Have fun and good luck.

Good solid tune. Easy to settle into. Stable under braking and good turn in. A little over rotation which meant I had to straighten up before mashing the gas, which I could do with ease when straight. Well done.

Stock Lap;1:50.778 Lap time;1:45.772 DC; 8.9

Impressions of the tune; This car was stable most of the time, and warned you that it didn’t like something you were doing before you spun. So it was great fun to drive, it was easy to find the limit in this car and stay at or near it the entire track. What hurt was cars unwillingness to punch it out of a turn and the BLOR at the low speed turns. I think a bit softer of a rear and touch more ARB up front to settle the weight shifting and this car would have settled down alot of and been a bit faster. Well done sir.

by Bowtie-muscle (me):

@@Bowtie-muscle:
Lap time - 1:40.256
DC - 9 (tentatively)

Some front end issues that were found during testing, the rear "rolled over" after apex just before getting back on the throttle. When corners were taken correctly, the tune had potential to be really fast. Not the best tune in the field, but after driving the others I liked it even more (not a knock on the other tunes, just that I felt it was not as bad as I had expected) and my second best lap was 1:40.740. Was given a DC of 9 for the fast time and because I felt it was a really good solid tune.

Review: Small push on corner entry which can hurt the timing of the fast sections and a little loose on acceleration, which was worse when it decided to drop me down into 1st gear on the slowest corner. Those things makes it sound like its a bad tune, but it is not. Get used to it, and the tire squealing, it can be a fun car to drive. Good job!👍

Review: Nice, good to drive tune. Had to be wary of some mid corner over rotation like a alot of these GTs. But, it
was predictable and a little understeer on exit helped catch it but it cost some time. Well done.

Currently one of my favorite cars in GT6!

IA License|600PP WTCC Mount Panorama|SS|Winner! 👍

Another great tune Mr.B! :) It should be classified as a "Touring Car" also! Huge grip, stability and waaay fast! Really fast! Managed on the long straight almost 350Km/ (218mph)

Great job! 👍

Thank you Sir:tup:....I really like that one and the ZR1 as Touring Car builds. Tough choice which I like more.
Now my normal C7 , my favorite car in GT6.:embarrassed:

👍 It's indeed a tough decision, but the C7 kind of surprise me... Was not expecting such high top speed and amazing grip...

 Not only looks good, but performs even better... :sly:

PS: I read in here somewhere that tha Jag XKR also gives a nice TC, but a heavy one...

Shhhhhhh..........a little secret, working on a Jag and DB9, if the Aston gets flat floor that is. Busy with FITT tuning and testing but have an idea for a future challenge.....oh boy, might have said too much:sly:

 No worries, my lips are sealed...

I have a "GT3 version" of the Aston from another tuner, it does allow the ffloor, at least the DB9 C'06...

But, for now i'll just pretend...
