A few change's from the last one. I've tried to simplify the back cover, and let the picture of the TVR hopefully jump out a bit, because it's such a beautiful picture.

I had various different effects for the large 4, a few of which inverted parts of the image with varying success. But I think by desaturating the inside of the 4, it makes the game title stand out more.

Does the yellow work on the front? I lose a bit of objectivity after awhile, but I think it looks OK, and we haven't had a yellow cover before.


Opinions, good or bad please.



There's also one for GT-One Lover. Hope you like it. If I zoomed out to make the car bigger, the number and stickers on the car became a distraction. I inverted part of the 4, it makes it stand out well I think.

...hey thanx redhead!!!...but i would like to see a little little bit more of the GT-One(but that´s only a wish of me!) but it´s stil nice to see such a "real" cover!!!
....i hope u can make a cover with a better pic of the GT-One ,too(but please NO pic of a "model-GT-One"!!)

....so u master-cover maker it´s up to u to make a very good cover one last time with my favorite car,the Toyota GT-One!!!

I changed both the covers slightly. The benefit of having another look, the next day.

Nice, redhed. Have you tried toning down the embossing on the GT logo? I think it pops up too much, but otherwise it has a nice layout.

I've done another cover using a very different car. Tell me what you think.

I like the way your text looks smooth, tricks of the trade?

It's a nice picture you've used, but it is not really representable of most of the cars in the game, which is my only problem with it. Although it will be an interesting one to drive in the game. I wouldn't personally wouldn't use the "G" logo, as I think it is something that will be a sticker put on the box after printing, and it clutters up the bottom. The Sony logo also seems a bit lost on the dark background of the picture.

Are you going to have a try at doing a the rear of the case? Let your imagination run riot.


I agree that my GT logo jumps out a bit. Although I do like it, that was how the highlight looked best. I was hoping to lower the opacity to make it see through, but I've done something that doesn't allow me to do that, it only fades.


I'm looking forward to a new cover soon.

Hey redhead17 I was wondering if desaturating the background outside the 4 on the ford GT one would look better. I guess your right that it wouldn't stand out as much though.

xcsti, thanks for the input. I've just had a mess round, the main picture just goes black and white and a bit boring. If I desaturate the outside of the 4, but not the inside, it makes the title hard to read.

I also tried inverting the main picture while it was black and white, but the black stripe on the car becomes white, and again overwhelms the title.

Thanks 98cobra, the Toyota cover was just because GT-One Lover wanted that car on a cover. I couldn't find a really nice picture of it though.

Hiroke, there are 3 ways to get the case effect.

1)Model the case from scratch, and add your graphics.

2)Take a picture of a box and put your graphics on it.

3)Or copy a picture of a case, from a website maybe, and add your own graphics.

One of the above is a lot easier than the other 2.

Toilet racing is a growing sport. I wont be surprised to see a couple of toilets make into the game. They can be very competitive.

I don't know, I think the GT40 has a good chance. It's the newest(so to speak) supercar at the moment. I also think the Mustang has a chance with it being the 40th anniversary.

Knowing PD though, it could just as well be an anomymous wheel rim close up.

This is not true. On the cover of GT2 was a Camaro. OK, so there was a cover over the car, but still, it was no doubt there.
