Well said 👍 That would be sweet I hope PD makes the box art as beautiful as the game, the GT3 one sucked IMO. I liked the origional ntsc with the car under the tarp. 👍

I didn't notice that Yeti. I copied that from somewhere else, and just cleaned it up because it had a different background. Spent so much time cleaning it up, I didn't read it properly.

Here's one I just had to finish off. I still can't get the GT letters the way I can see them in my mind. My ambition is greater than my knowledge.

Fixing the physics misspelling was easier than I thought.

I'm using Photoshop 7. I liked Paintshop Pro when I first got my PC, but I've been doing some courses on Photoshop, so I had to change.

You know.........I'm really starting to think that the helmet pic with Gran Turismo written on top will be the box.............Because we have seen it in all the new building of GT4......

I have finally sorted out my second attempt at the Mclaren Mercedes SLR GT4 box. Its only the front but I think it look quite suttle keeping with the previous GT boxes.......I also think the final box will be white. Seeing as this thread has suddenly re-appeared Enjoy 👍

Thanx guys 👍 .......I do suspect that redhed17's will be the actual real one cos of the in game start screen. I thought that maybe my box had 2 many logos on it!....It looks abit buzy but those are the ones they use!........they will need the age thingy and I think they will (like with recient PS2 games) put the Playstation 2 exclusive on it like what xbox have......F1 04 has it......and I think GTA SA will to.

Something about "playstation exclusive" makes GT4 sound really special!

Well, actually, there's a chance it could be on it.


1: The game is one PS2's best
2: The Game will only be on PS2.

Not that I'm argueing or anything........but why do Xbox put "only for xbox" on the titles even if it is done by microsoft games studios, like Halo 2.......surely they don't need a sticker either but I think they do it as a status thing!!!

Yes and thats my point its a look-this-game-is-for-our-console-only! thing. Its a marketing trick also, to lure customers to their console. I think its cheap and in the case of GT, GT is linked to PS as an alloy wheel to a sportscar if you now what i mean. So GT doesnt need it!!! in my opion.
Nintendo had also that Only for... thing for their console games.

PS1 games didnt have it (what i remember) and only now some PS2 games will have it. like Athens 2004 its also a licence game.

I get it........what your saying is.....GT speaks for itself.......it is such a powerful game in its own right is doesnt need a little yellow sticker to say that its the best. These stickers are to say......"look what we have and what xbox doesnt!".....but GT is never gonna be on Xbox.......GT owns all.....!...but I suspenct that they will put it on anyway .....you know sony and marketing!!!

The multiplayer information which was mentioned earlier in the thread, I forgot again. I also put the website address that was on GT4 Prologue. Just after I posted my last one, I came up with the GT logo fade, which I'm not sure if it's better or not, but it is different.

So I put them all on with a different main picture, rather than the same again.

I had 3 game pictures to choose from, 2 Renault Alpines at the start line in Paris, the Falken Skyline jumping the hill at the Nurburgring, and the one I've used, the Nissan GT car(not sure if it's the R89C or the R90CP) in Paris.

I think it was a subliminal thing getting Euro, Japanese and US cars in.

I wanted to put a picture of a rally car in, to show that aspect, but the extra picture didn't look right. Plus there are not that many good in-game pictures of rally cars that I've seen/got.



If your trying to learn Photoshop, or any graphics program for that matter, this is a good way to learn stuff. It really helps when you've got a target to aim at.

All the problems will jump out at me tomorrow. I'll enjoy being happy with it while I can.
