Burnout Dominator

Did anyone played it? I did, and it's quite fun. The graphics seems the same as Burnout Revenge. The gameplay is like the old game (burnout 1 and 2). There's no online mode.

No online? Ouch, that was one of the main reasons I liked the previous burnout games.

I got it yesterday but I didn't have much time to play, I just did a couple of races. I'll try to play some more during this week to see if it was a good move going back to Burnout 2 style.

I just got to get used to this game drifting technique again, I've been playing Outrun Coast 2 Coast lately and the physics are totally different.

Dominator is alot better than Revenge. When they said they were going back to the roots, they meant it.

Yeah I'm having good fun with it. I finally managed to stop hitting the traffic all the time, which was very frustrating. I just hope I doesn't get boring before I finish it, this always happened to me in the Burnout series since I the first one I played, Burnout 2. They are very thrilling at first but I don't think I ever got to complete all the missions in any of the Burnout games.

I didn't like the soundtrack of Dominator as much as the others, and Avril Lavigne being in the tracklist doesn't really help, especially with two different versions of her song. The cars design are nothing special too, I wish they could use real cars models for a change.

Besides that, it's one of the best arcade racers available for the PS2.

I haven't played this game yet and I own Burnouts 2-Revenge, trying to find the first one for PS2...I was told that this version has the capability to rip your car in half depending on how you crash....I'm just curious to know if this correct or a rumour...please and thanks

Got the game a 2 days ago and well really its just like playing any of the other series. Not a bad game but to me it does get slightly boring. You do the same thing over and over with a different type car. I liked the crash feature in revenge where you had to make a big crash and get points from it, can't remember the name of the mini game. Here is a screen shot of the best i have done in the game so far, how did i do in everyones experience with the game?

That's what made THIS Burnout Crappy.. They should have left the ramp features be, its so much fun being able to become airborne..

I wouldn't say its crappy, but i do miss the wreck\ramp features the last one had. I liked making mass destruction

Wait, is there still Crash Mode? That is a party maker right there I'll tell you what. I'm also glad that you can't just run into traffic anymore.
