Yep. I got a chance to play this in Gamestop the other day, just for a minute. At first I was kind of indifferent about it (still haven't finished Burnout 3), thinking I'd get it "whenever". After racing it for about ten seconds, I said to myself, "Self.... Get this game."

I've owned the first two, haven't played the 3. I can't say I like the look of the Revenge too much though. Maybe it's just the representation.

Yeah.. you say that NOW.. I said the same thing Friday morning. Friday night, I was convinced to buy it... Go find a demo somewhere.. Best Buy and GameStop have them. Or wait a month or so until the October issue of OPM, they'll have a demo. Then you'll see. Then you'll be ONE OF US.

In my country there are no bestbuys and gamestops. I got tired of Burnout 3 quickly too. Sure, it was fun at first but I need some depth to my games.

I've owned the first two, haven't played the 3. I can't say I like the look of the Revenge too much though. Maybe it's just the representation.

I've never played the first 2, but I picked up Burnout 3 recently and really like it. It's a nice break from GT4 and since it's a Greatest Hits it was only $20.00. 👍

I'll definitely check out this new one, though it doesn't look all that different from Burnout 3.

You see, I had 1 & 2(still have 2) for GameCube, because G.C. has better graphics, but they released Burnout 3 only for PS2 and Xbox, so I didn't get it. But like Tab mentioned, it's now only a 20 dollar Greatest Hits, so I'll probably check it out.

It's definately one hell of an arcade game. If you love ramming your car into oncoming traffic and making a huge explosion this is your game. I know my little cousins would love this game.

It's definately worth the 20 bucks. It's fun and I just now started. You try to "takedown" your opponets by ramming and/or pushing them onto incoming traffic. From what I learn in the game, "RISK = REWARD" and in this game that is totally true.

I definately recommend it. This is the total opposite of a racing simulator - that's why it's so fun. 👍

As I've said in earlier posts, I've owned the first two burnouts. Although I liked the game, it was one of those games, I mostly played only at get togethers. I´ve been playing it for a couple of days, in my opinion is even better than Burnout 3. The graphics didn´t change much, they just added a filter that makes the game look better, more realistic.

You can now hit the cars in traffic, just not oncoming cars and larger vehicles. Some people said this made the game too easy but so far I´m liking it, it makes races more fun. Another new feature I like are the shortcuts on the tracks. There´s lot´s of them in every track and they´re very useful specially in burning laps.

They changed Crash mode quite a bit too, but I can´t say if it´s better or worse than Burnout 3's yet, gotta play some more. But then again I was never a big fan of Crash Mode comparing to the other modes. I haven´t played the game online, I want to unlock better cars before trying it out.

You have to unlock all cars in online mode so just go online now!
Game isnt out in europe yet,have to wait to the 22.sep

Ooooooooooh, I've played the demo and it's awesome!

I'm quite a big fan of the series and have owned all three games. I really love the 3rd one and this looks even better. I just cannot believe people keep saying "this is pushing the PS2/Xbox's limits" and they come out with a better looking game each time!

Ive played the demo and to be honest i think i agree, its visually as amazing as ever, but it is now alot easier due to the fact you can ram traffic out the way, kinda defies the object of the highways being packed...

i'll prob just stick with Burnout 3.

and make less traffic...or at least have a choice to turn
traffic off!
Like in Midnight Club 2.

I just played today. This game is really amazing! The graphics are so good! The gameplay is fun. I didn't tried the online mode yet.

I've been playing it for the past two days and it's much better than Burnout 3. No more stupid long, point and click menus, and it actually lets all possible cars finish crashing in Crash Mode. I'm glad that is has other genres of music other than modern rock this time. The Electronic music sounds really good.

I've played this for a day or two and it's much easier than the earlier games, mostly due to the traffic check thing. It's still fun to play but it feels like an upgraded version of Burnout 3.
