So if anyone was wondering... The FAL with Silencer and Red Dot Sight is still a 3 shot kill. Now going to fiddle with the Holographic back on it.

I need to start unlocking stuff for the M16 again, but it always felt like it required Stopping Power in my mind.

Skidrow works well too as most of the fights take place in the central building, which you can easily noobtube through. Danger Close is evil if you tube the main corridor :lol:

Just kidding. :lol: I'm ACR & shotgun on that map. I have used it to my advantage on that map before, when I got trapped in one corner of the map, where there is a flatbed trailer parked right outside the small two story building? From that second floor, I just massacred the other team many times over.
 
Just went 30-1 in a TDM on Wasteland, didnt have nuke on though and the killstreak was 29. I am trying to get the chopper gunner emblem at the moment before I prestige. I am 2 or 3 off, I also want 4 more pavelows for the emblem (all the previous 21 were care packages)!

EDIT: 3 games later and 2 chopper gunners later and I have the emblem, now for the 4 pavelows and I will be all ready for prestige tomorrow. This is going so winningly. I also twittered asking about a double xp weekend, he probably wont reply but we will see.

Speaking of the FAL, I have decided it would be the best AR in the game if it had better Iron Sights. Could just slap a Silencer on there with Scavenger and away I'd go.

I agree, I also had the same problem in COD4 with the M14. That was my absolute favorite weapon but I just had to have a RDS on it because of the terrible iron sights. Since there's no M14 in this one an M21 with ACOG is my substitute. :guilty:

Umm? I tried, I had been on 20 chopper gunners for ages, I just tried today to do the emblem.

I also just came from the best turn around I have ever done. Our team was on 5000 and the other was on 7000, I randomly went epic and we won. I got a predator, got two kills, got harrier, got pavelow, noone on my team died while I held them all off and we won 7500 to 7300, I was completely negative 4/5ths into the game ,just wow, this was on Derail btw.

EDIT: Just whipped out another pavelow, this time on rundown, this is so easy when you try.

Yeah, I was getting two Pace Lows per game for a bit earlier today. It isn't that hard since the Pred can usually get you harriers, and then they get the pace low. I was getting two though in FFA games. Which was awesomely dominating.
 
I got my final two pave lows in one game. Btw, they are pave lows, not pace lows, how did you typo twice?

I have no clue because I normally type Pave Low... My mind must have seen the C as a V for some reason when I glanced over my own post.

As for Killstreak Emblems, I still need to get the Counter UAV, Sentry Gun, Attack Helicopter, EMP, and Nuke ones. Thinking about running Care Package, Predator, E Drop to get some of those done, since Attack Helicopters and Counter UAVs tend to be favorites from crates.

Ended up partying with some random guys we ran into that were decent and fun to talk with. They went ridiculous when they saw my stats on the leaderboards. I remembering hearing "Dude, Azure, nearly 47,000 kills? Really? HOLY CRAP 16 DAYS PLAY TIME?" I laughed :dopey:

And the G18's have been added to the list of weapons I can murder with. Circle Strafe death with them. I do need to tackle the LMGs at some point, but I just don't like them. They aren't stylish. And I really think they should be some what hard to aim if you are standing, as they are 40 pound massive guns... same goes for the Barret, etc.

EDIT: Forgot how much I love FFA. Average a KD of around 5 it seems, even on small maps like Scrapyard.

The two classes I've been using for it are

Built For Speed
UMP Silenced
Akimbo G18s
Throwing Knife/Stuns
Marathon/Lightweight/Steady Aim (All Pro)

And

Kaze Kage
FAL Silenced with Holographic
Akimbo Silenced G18s
Throwing Knife/Stuns
Bling Pro/Hardline Pro/SitRep

The Silenced FAL is a blast, a simple "Plick Plick Plick" and you have a kill. And where the FAL's short comings in close range, the Glocks pick up perfectly.

Killstreaks are Predator/Harrier/Pave Low and I pretty much always get a Pave Low or two.

Its the same gun. The M21 is a modified M14 that has been adapted for use in a light sniper role.


I'm getting closer and closer to my first prestige but its taking forever to rank up these last few ranks. Buddy of mine has ranked up like 10 levels in the past couple days while I've only managed 3 ranks in the past two days. I think I'm a better player than he is so it must be our play styles of the fact that he doesn't just play TDM. Still though this is taking forever.
 
^ Start using the guns that you haven't done any challenges for. Doing that helped me rank up from 65 to prestige in surprisingly quick fashion. :)
 
Try for kllstreaks that you wouldn't normally use as well for some bonus points. Like the Counter UAV and such.
Oh, talking of counter UAV,in our matches last night in Sub base I got 3 care packages... All with Counter UAVs in them. I wasnt too pleased :lol:
 
I'm going to create a knife only PSN now I've found out how to unlock the Magnum Tac-Knife without shooting anyone.

It should be fun but I'll probably only play Domination games with it where my deaths don't effect my team.
 
Had some fantastic games again lastnight with Kai,uk86,lpk,dragnostic and Aldo 👍 Its always great fun with you guys and that one game where it seemed like everyone on the team got Air support at the same time.It took 3mins before I could find some Air space to bring mine out :lol:

Good to see you using your riot shield again! It felt wierd the last time I played with you with no shield! :lol:
I had a couple of terrible games (score wise) and one brilliant one. I think I was like 7-2 on that Sabotage match in Derailed. Drag was on top form and it helped A LOT!
Oh, LPK's "chats" with the guys sitting on level 70 were legendary! :lol:

Kill: 100, Assisted Suicide: 100, I think a Buzzkill: 100, either a Payback or a Longshot I don't recall: 50. With me so far? So here's the part that boggles the crap out of me, those last 50 points were...HEADSHOT. I thought headshots were insta-kills and negate Final/Last Stand. So how in the world do I get a headshot and Assisted Suicide? Anyone else ever seen that one?

Headshots are not insta kills with most weapons. Even a Silenced M21 with Stopping Power won't one shot kill to the head with stopping power. You likely pinged the guy in the head, then he backed up and fell to his death.
 
Knife only is very difficult but so much fun to play. I love baiting people round corners but it's heartbreaking when your looking at someone dead on, knowing you can't reach them and have nowhere to run.

My Knifing PSN is GrapefruitDrink as I couldn't think of a knife-only related PSN that wasn't taken :(

EDIT: Also I noticed that you can complete the cook grenade challenges by holding your throwing knife for a while before letting go.

I am 4th prestige as of ten minutes ago but an old problem has become common. The host migration going to 100% blocks but not going further, its sooo annoying.

that happened last night for Cody and I. I heard the other guys' mics still working, heard "enemy neutralized" over someone's mic...etc. When the game ended it bounced me to an empty lobby with the error message like "CL_CommandCycledOut: A reliable command has cycled out."

Oh how reliable it is.
 
I noticed I was host nearly ever game again on my knife account, are Infinity Ward forcing host on new players to score their connections? Possibly to make host migration less common.

I'm sure in a few days I won't be hosting a single game again.
 
I still never host, it only did once when it got confused and said I could host 18 :/.

Beat you by one, last night! 30-0 on Afghan. It also set my new kill streak record at 30. I even tried to die after using all my killstreak by jumping into their whole team over by the cliff. I shot everybody, and anybody who came close to killing me, my chopper or harrier took them out. Lucky! :lol:
