Your predator traveled back in time to WWII and turned the tide of a battle in the pacific theater? Sweet!

On a more serious note, I played a good bit today, even though the game is running really smooth (I have been experiencing FPS drops lately), and there is 0 lag, My bullets seem to be made of foam, I can't hit anyone and I finished a S&D game with 13 assists earlier (and 6 kills) :S

No problem A6, I'm sure the shame of being the last man killed didn't have anything to do with it ;)

Right after that though I started playing some S&D in what turned out to be a 1vs6 man fight (me being 1, ofcourse :ouch:), the best news however is I completely pwnt them and reduced an entire clan's ego to abysmal ("Dudes we just got pwnt in a 6v1 match" "Oh my God" *Entire clan leaves room*)

I honestly didn't even know that I was the last kill. :lol: My nephew came over, and all I knew was the match ended before I turned it off.

When my coworkers brag about the longer kill streak, as a joke, I tell them my streak was same as theirs, plus ".5" for the dog I killed on some random WaW map. :p

Right after the epic 6v1 match I had a full match at derail where I got 3 guys, in the back, through the blue tarp/fencing while they were camping B.

Usually, I would take credit for that on Terminal. In this case, it wasn't even close, and like I said, I was halfway absent during that match. Somebody on the other team was downright owning with the OMA, right off the bat. I got blown up numerous times. I don't know how I finished, but it probably wasn't good. :D

Ah, got ya now. Its easy to miss anything in this thread unless you check it a few times a day because it moves fast.
 
I got lucky tonight and got put into a room where the other team was full of noobs. Only two of them were over level 40 the rest were under 30 I believe. Had some good games with the ACR. Sadly the room closed after I went 17-0 on sub base. I even captured someones care package while they were on the other side and proceeded to shoot them in the face afterwords. Great fun. I thought it not possible when someone else said they did the same.
 
I need a easy lobby on XBL. I've been playing well on PSN lately(k/d now 2.24), so I was feeling cocky. Playing TDMs with WallRunner late last night. Though I was tired & my game had deteriorated towards the end, I had this great idea of jumping on XBL, and get my k/d up on that account. :banghead::banghead:
My aim was way off, couldn't see half the people who were shooting me, killing me. On top of that, Murphy's Law dictates that I get on crap team when I'm struggling, so it wasn't pretty. I was reminded(again), the adjustment switching between two systems, two controllers are not easy!

WR51: After you left, I played just one more. I actually did OK(16-6) finally, and got that team that was handing our a$$. 7500-7300!

Yeah when I found myself closing my eyes mid battle I figured I needed to get some sleep, I'd been up for nearly 22 hours at that point :lol:

I think the first two matches with me, you and Rabia went well, I felt sorry for Mr Ex once he got separated from the party and put on that really crappy team (the one we went 7500-3800 or so against). I didn't have a particularly good KDR though, I just got mad and went into knife only mode.

I did manage an epic 4 kills when I ran up behind a bunch of people who had just spawned, kept blasting them with the M1014 and barely survived the bullets, only to settle down to control my predator and get hit with 3 semtex's :ouch:

Oh my god. When we got separated on, what, Underpass? Rabia/Tsukuba kept on owning me over & over. I just stuck with it, and finished the game I think with a decent score. But as much as I like that kid, I'm pretty sure I'd have slapped him, if he was sitting next to me. :lol:
 
Anyone fancy some games at some point? Not sure if i've randomly encountered any of you here but I may well have!
I'm in a bit of a slump at the moment though so don't expect too much :)
 
I absolutely love Knife Only! It's made me realise how effective flash/stun grenades are and how important it is to time your moves right. It forces you to get out of tight situations and how to get in them without being seen, a brilliant style to test your knowledge of spawn points and enemy play styles.

Seriously if anyone hasn't tried it I would recommend giving it a go, just create another PSN and be really strict. I don't even use killstreaks that can kill, UAV - Care Package - Emergency Airdrop. Not even using Frags or Semtex, Throwing Knife only.
 
Chances are very minor though. Plus I get points each time my teammates take them, which I always do.

Although I left a care package for my team earlier and nobody took it even though it was right in-front of them for ages, a nice little Ammo crate, useless to me actually disappeared as it was sat there so long URGH! Although I have a feeling my teammates were tremendously stupid too, they kept walking past every domination flag, I practically caught them all by myself.

It was on Underpass because I remember muttering at least one curse word that would have been directed towards him had anyone been able to hear it. I was killed a few time by his F2000 that game.

I was absolutely useless for you guys last night when I was playing. It must have been because it was last and I was just tired enough to throw me off. :lol: I might as well have just had a permanent red dot on the map, as that how ineffective I was. I basically just went into the "do not kill my team and avoid deaths as much as possible mode".

I cannot sign into the Playstation Network at the moment. This is the exact message I am getting:

"An error has occurred. You have been signed out of Playstation Network. (8001050F)"

I also cannot do anything on the Campaign either, as I get this message:

"Registration of the trophy information could not be completed. The game will quit. (8001050F)"

I get the second message when trying to play any game.

EDIT: I just found these: Page 1, Page 2, and Page 3.

So it seems to be a widespread problem. I was already contemplating going out and purchasing a new PS3 Slim based on some of my early search results on Google. The three pages above are a fairly big relief to say the least. :lol:

EDIT of the EDIT: Just gave the Sony forums a very quick once over and there are a bunch of active threads there also.

Don't worry man. When you play for a while, you will experience up & down in your game. In TDMs, all you can do is minimize the deaths, and I think you were already doing that, since I don't remember you with 18 deaths or something like that. :lol:

P.S. We'll get Tsukuba next time we play HCTDM.

Btw, the PSN being out is sucking, I my date got set back to 12/1/99 too and you can't update it via internet and I'm far too lazy to do it manually.

i think im going to give up on spec ops for now. ive yet to make it past three juggernauts on hardened.

[edit - right as soon as i post, i two star it. i dont have the patience to try to three star it as im not hardcore enough to try to survive a jaggernaut manwish on hardcore.

They are complete ***** on veteran, I only have the 2, 2 player missions left on veteran to get my 69 achievement for having them all done on vet:tup: I tried the other night with my cousin but we weren't having any luch, whoever was on the ground in the AC130 mission would always die after getting halfway through....:ouch:
 
yeah, my cousin and i had problems with that both of the two player ones. i think i died as i hit the finish line on either 2 or 3 star. :lol: i still got credit for it though :D
 
Odd that I can't play offline even without my PS3 connected to the internet. World at war isn't playing right either. COD4 seems to still be working though.
 
My god, it's up & down for me on XBL. At least I can play TDMs on that one. :p

So my k/d went back down again from 2.00 to 1.98(LOW 1.98). Only .02 points, but that is a lot of deaths on a prestige account. Anyway, it's back up to 2 again, with most games with k/d of 4 or so or higher. It's like I don't get anything in-between! :crazy:

seems to be an issue with the internal clock being retarded. They're saying it will reset tomorrow night or they may issue a firmware update if it doesn't.
 
so, if i kill a guy because his weapon is clipping through the wall, is that haxing? :lol:

now i only need 38 more penetration kills :lol:

[edit - where can i fall 30 feet or more to drop to my death?
