What makes me laugh is the whole mapathy thing, bored of old maps? Have 5 more (2 of which aren't new!)

I was using my trusty silenced MP5 and I swear I had put at least 6 rounds into this bigfoot looking sniper's back and I stopped and then he turned and popped me I also noticed that on COD4 if you don't have stopping power on the guns just seem to "shoot rubber bands" as A6 says

Ah yeah silencer in that game really dumbed down the power of most guns. The P90 literally had pathetic range with silencer on imo, and the MP5 became a lot weaker. The UMP45 with silencer in MW2 is just insane because it only takes like 1 or so bullet more to kill someone with the same range!

The worst thing about Ken Burton is that he regularly makes videos for Machinima/Machinima Respawn, meaning you get a fresh dose of fail every week... Oh well, at least Machinima Respawn also has guys like Blame Truth, Seananners, GUNNS4HIRE, Spiderbite etc to alleviate the pain

I find Ken Burton very annoying, partly because his humour is simply not funny at all but mainly because he is just plain stupid alot of the time. Not in the way he plays by all means there's nothing wrong with not being good at the game but he just asks and says so many stupid things. 'Why didn't I kill that guy I poured a whole mag into him?' Answer, your whole mag was about 5 metres to the left in a tree son. You'd think he'd watch his own damn video to know that. As you say though, there's plenty of other, more informed directors on Machinima who know what they're talking about without being overconfident.

You know, I was once a really big hater of Ken but after you get it in your brain that he isn't trying to be the best and he is just wanting to have fun it makes his videos much better to watch. His comedy isn't always funny for sure. I just like him because he is a good guy and he has the whole KEN (keep it nice) campaign he is trying to push foward (which will never happen). I don't like playing with the people he is against either, but there is really nothing you can do about it because the world is full of insecure people. He does silly things like putting thermal scopes on the ACR and then wonders why he can't kill anyone. I actually have him saying, Ooooffff ya bugga as my message alert on my phone, it cracks me up when I hear it

By all means I agree with the fact he's not trying to be the best, but that doesn't explain how he can't see the obvious which happens on his own screen, and then his own video. I just wish would sit down with him and explain some of these things which are so obvious so I'm not wondering how someone can play a game so much yet know so very little of the basics. It wouldn't matter but he often goes off on a rant which is so completely uninformed. At first it was kind of like an innocent stupid, but after watching a fair view of his videos it got old quick.

COD4 is just the best.

I've been back on it this week, grinding through Lv9. Noticed you were on too yesterday evening. Kept expecting you to pop-up in a game, as you tend to do, before remembering that you can't do that in Cod4

Decided to try some different setups last night. I saw that I never used the Danger Close perk so I loaded up with a Thumper, M203 and a Frag Grenade and went noob tubing and nading for a couple of games. Had so much fun spamming grenades. Yeah it can be considered nooby but it was fun so I don't mind.

Brought back out the riot shield for a TD in Favela. Ended up getting so many distraction kills by just staying in plain sight at windows in houses and letting everyone give away their positions by shooting my shield. It was amazing how much ammo people would waste trying to kill me. I don't think they understood that they can't shoot through the shield. Sure they started to get smart and try flanking but I usually saw them coming so as they came upstairs they'd have my C4 waiting for them.

Another game saw me just running around with my USP. I actually ended up 17-9 doing this which surprised me cuz I thought I was gonna get owned.

Anyone got any other fun/random classes or strategies they like to do?

Haha that took a while for me to get used to again. Been trying to go for points in HQ games lately but I always get put on the team with idiots so I'm sticking to Ground War, currently lvl52 9th Prestige. So close now, also I realise that I've missed all the COD4 maps so much, they are all brilliant.

If I'm tired of the same ol' same ol' I will do any sub with marathon pro, lightweight pro, and ninja pro with C4. I will just run around and find people like snipers not paying any attention and hit them with the C4 and let them turn around and as they are bringing up the gun pop the C4. And when I'm really bored I will put the C4 on a sniper cold blooded class and throw the C4 somewhere that there are usually traffic going through and I can have a line of sight with so I can get way back and shoot the C4 to set it off, that's always fun.

I just checked them out. They are pretty entertaining. "Sit down" is funny, but I was hoping that it was more along the lines of "I'm Rick James, xxxxx!".

I'm sure you won't considering we get the map pack a month before psn I love it when people I know cry about how xbox is getting it first, I say yeah you know why xbox gets it first? Its because we pay for our service and when you pay for it you get certain perks from paying for it, you are paying to have good service and certain premium things.

I have been trying but I haven't played in over a week now, I just haven't felt like playing it really. I have put it in and joined a match and then just sat there and been like, ugh I really don't feel like getting agro right now and turn it off

I forgot to tell you guys yesterday. I have a coworker who is into modding. His k/d is like 40-something, and has everything unlocked from the titles, weapons, perks, etc.

He now tells me that now he can have two primaries, without the overkill perk(which MW2 doesn't have anyway). Also, you can use the deathstreak slot for a fourth perk. And I think he said that weapons have two attachments already, without the Bling perk.

It's like a CoD players wet dream come true, but you have no idea how disturbed I was by it. I know I could never ruin the game I love for something selfish like this, but I'm not gonna lie, I was already constructing something like this in my head:

ACR - Silencer, FMJ
SCAR - Silencer, Grenade Launcher

Perk 1 - Scavenger
Perk 2 - Stopping Power
Perk 3 - Ninja
Death Streak - Cold Blooded

This is a mod, and he says he's thinking about selling it to people for $10. What bothers me the most is that it's nearly impossible to catch these guys cheating from our perspective. Right now, I'm really hoping they can catch the cheaters from IW, or XBL's end. If I start encountering these guys in ranking matches, I think they'd ruin this game for me. On the crazy k/d+unlock all mod, I think he said he figures about 7,000 accounts had done the same. 7,000 accounts ranked ahead of him, and he doesn't play a whole lot.

This is all on Xbox 360. Sorry, I forgot to mention it.
