I forgot to tell you guys yesterday. I have a coworker who is into modding. His k/d is like 40-something, and has everything unlocked from the titles, weapons, perks, etc.

He now tells me that now he can have two primaries, without the overkill perk(which MW2 doesn't have anyway). Also, you can use the deathstreak slot for a fourth perk. And I think he said that weapons have two attachments already, without the Bling perk.

It's like a CoD players wet dream come true, but you have no idea how disturbed I was by it. I know I could never ruin the game I love for something selfish like this, but I'm not gonna lie, I was already constructing something like this in my head:

ACR - Silencer, FMJ
SCAR - Silencer, Grenade Launcher

Perk 1 - Scavenger
Perk 2 - Stopping Power
Perk 3 - Ninja
Death Streak - Cold Blooded

This is a mod, and he says he's thinking about selling it to people for $10. What bothers me the most is that it's nearly impossible to catch these guys cheating from our perspective. Right now, I'm really hoping they can catch the cheaters from IW, or XBL's end. If I start encountering these guys in ranking matches, I think they'd ruin this game for me. On the crazy k/d+unlock all mod, I think he said he figures about 7,000 accounts had done the same. 7,000 accounts ranked ahead of him, and he doesn't play a whole lot.

This is all on Xbox 360. Sorry, I forgot to mention it. :lol:

ERIC: I didn't say we were paying for a better set up as far as servers etc, I said we pay so we get first content and other perks that come with premium service. All of the problems my mates have with PS3 and connection within MW2 I do not have, I'm not saying 360 is better because I like both systems. The way I see the systems, xbox has better overall function, better network, and content getting to it is better. The PS3 on the other hand has the capability to do much more because of the blue ray drive, even though it hasn't yet but it will be soon because developers are running out of room on the dvd-5 disks, better thumbsticks(but not controller, its too small for me) and they are more reliable. Thats just how I see them both, I wish I had the cash for a PS3 because ever since I seen little big planet I have wanted to play it, really need to get one before GT5 comes out:grumpy:

I could do that a little bit over a month ago when the dvar was found by cheater and released to a certain few of us, I can have 3 primaries though:sly: I don't do things like that in public matches though, I don't even use certain glitches like getting out of map or elevators because if you get caught doing anything like that now you will be banned hard and fast and I have worked too hard on my GS and all to be banned. I have had plenty of opportunities to get into free lobbies to get 10th and all challenges, titles, etc. but I haven't and I actually turn the people in who try and who host them, that ruins the game and its pathetic if you have to do that to get a stupid title. I'm a modder who turns in modders....haha. Xbox is fixing to make it easier to mod also because soon the xbox will support saving and reading files to a flash drive....
 
I just ran into some asshole on derail sniping from the top of the elevator behind the warehouse. I can't stand people like that who have to cheat to get an advantage. I didn't even know where the guy was shooting at me from at first and it took him probably a full clip to hit me and only when I was right under him. Idiot đź‘Ž

One of my buddies(also a coworker), he did go through with the all unlock thing. With this one however, his k/d or emblem didn't change. I guess it just do the unlocks, including the title/emblems, also all weapons+attachments.

I can't turn them in, because they are my friends. I so want to. :lol:
 
I don't see the fun in having everything already. If I had everything unlocked I'd probably never play the game just because I'd have nothing left to do.
 
I play to kill, so I actually envy what these guys have, in a way. But I wouldn't do something like that at the expense of the game, and the community though.

I have used the chopper trick to get the Cold Blooded Pro. Which is cheating, but not really......
 
I did that once but I haven't had the chance since I prestiged. No one cares to shoot down choppers and my stinger takes everything out in one hit.
 
Just keep one class with Cold Blooded with something like silenced P90 or silenced RPD. Silencer's great for that, so the other team doesn't come looking for that guy who's shooting off a hundred rounds. :lol:
 
Man I was having a pretty epic night. So many flawless games my K/D skyrocketed! :lol: I hit 2.32 finally beating mr A6. :p You should come back to PSN and find another .10 so I don't have to find another goal to devote all my time to... :lol:

I also finally unlocked the extended mags for the AA-12. You all should have seen this awesome triple kill I got for the game winning kill cam on favela. I come up the stairs on the right and find these three idiots all climbing the garbage bin at the same time. I put a quick end to that! :lol:
 
Damn, that is skyrocketing. :eek:đź‘Ť I don't think I can top that, but you can shoot for the best player I have on my PSN friends list, Dragonistic. He's over "3"!

First night back on XBL, I went up 2 to 2.08, but I've been there since. With the stimulus thing coming out in a couple of days, on top of me trying to raise my k/d on there, I'll be on more on XBL for awhile.

My buddy who was playing with me today, he just found out about the Overgrown & Crash being in the stimulus. It was so funny he way he was freaking out. Of course, rest of us knew about it forever. :lol:
 
With the type of games I was having I should have kept playing but I decided to end the night on a high. Had I kept playing I'd have messed up somewhere and ended up right back where I was :lol:

I have to say, these Trittons have made a huge difference in my playing. I was already able to sound whore pretty good without them but now its just insane.

If you’re an Xbox Live player on Modern Warfare 2, there are some big updates hitting tomorrow (March 30th) in the early morning. Included in those are:

The Stimulus Package (Downloadable Content)

The first dlc for Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer hits exclusively first on Xbox Live. It’ll be coming to other platforms at a later date as well, but tomorrow morning you’ll be able to download the 5 new maps including Bailout (seen above), Salvage, Storm, and my favorite classic maps Crash and Overgrown.

Double XP

Originally planned to do it this weekend, but we’ve decided to throw the Double XP switch early when the new maps hit. So jump online with the new DLC and check out the two new DLC specific playlists.

Stimulus and Hardcore Stimulus Playlists

These two playlists are 100% dedicated to the new maps, and are Double XP enabled. So jump on and experienced the new DLC you downloaded, get double XP, and experience all your favorite gametypes along with some hardcore variants of them.

Ranger maps added to HCHQ

We’re adding a few maps to the Hardcore Headquarters Pro playlist on Xbox Live, allowing you now play all the Ranger maps in this gametype, something I know a lot of users have been asking for! These maps include Highrise, Invasion, Skidrow, and Terminal.

Title Update

Along side the DLC, but something ALL of our users will get, is a title update for Modern Warfare 2. Included in this update is support for the DLC (if you choose to purchase it), as well as some tweaks to the One Man Army perk, some matchmaking updates that will help our international users find more locally hosted games thanks to how ping is now sorted, and various other code updates that will help improve the overall quality of multiplayer on Modern Warfare 2.

There is no exact time you can expect all this, I’d say early morning when traffic is at its lowest, but by the time you wake up and get online I’m sure it will be available to most of you on March 30th! See you online all this week!

Well, MW2 was my first ever shooter game, so I came along a huge noob for the first month or more, only getting maybe a few kills, or none, for something like 10 deaths, each game. So my K/d ratio is stuck at 0.61 :lol:. Now that i'm much improved, i'll be able to slowly get positive.
 
Same situation with me :lol: OK, MW2 wasn't my *first* shooter - that was BF:MC on the PS2 - but it was my first online FPS. My KDR is stuck around 0.65, with 10k deaths that won't be changing much any time soon :lol:
 
I am wondering what exactly the "tweaks" are to OMA.
 
I'll hazard a guess at slower class changing and being unable to change to the class you're already using.
 
I think not being able to change to the class that is currently being used is a good start. A better change to One Man Army would be not having the option to change to any class that has One Many Army. That would prevent the abuse of the perk and prevent people from having more than one class setup with One Many Army on it to try and circumvent the tweak.
 
I'm a One Man Army whore, but if they want to take it away, I totally understand it.

I wanted to find out exactly what time the stimulus was being released, so thanks Sharky for the information. đź‘Ť I was hoping to start playing at midnight tonight, as I have no work tomorrow. Tomorrow morning is just fine, I suppose. I can hit it early in the morning, play during work hours. Most likely, I will be spending the first hour on Overgrown. In private match mode. It will feel like going home. Like, almost literally. There is a house I'm notorious for camping in, it's called "shaq's house":

It really is called that, shaq is my nickname(go figure, I'm Asian). Don't worry, the days of two claymores are long gone. *cough*scavenger*cough* Just kidding. :p
 
I use scavenger and claymores so much now especially on favela. I like to camp at the top of those stairs that lead up to the part with the plants on the roof. you put a claymore in the door and wait for people to run by and then you lol.

Can't wait to hear what you think about the maps. Another unfair advantage that will hopefully let you overtake me next month on PSN eh?

I sometimes camp in the same spot. It's a great spot to snipe the guys on the rooftop across the map. You can shoot to the side, to the back. Plus you can hop on the rooftop patio, too. I suck on that map though. I rarely have a good game on it unless I get a kill streak going for air support.

I sure hope the stimulus will give me an advantage. That's why I pay the fifty bucks! :sly: :D
 
It used to be one of those maps I always hated until I learned how to play on it. Its still not my favorite but I don't vote to skip it anymore.
 
I've gotten pretty good at controlling that side of the map (from the area with the dumpsters to the brick building with the path behind it), using my CB Pro+Ninja+Silencer setups, slowly moving around the area and getting into different hiding spots. Needless to say, I get on a lot of people's nerves :D

I've started using the scar myself. The small mags have gotten my killed a few times but the larger round lets me use with a silencer without stopping power.
 
Yeah, I use it for the same reason. I like my ACR with the silencer, but I do need stopping power. Currently, I have two ACR(w/silencers) classes; One with scavenger, one with sleight of hand.

My two SCAR(also w/silencers) classes both have scavenger. One uses Cold Blooded, the other with stopping power.
 
I have two silenced scar classes myself. Both are CB/ninja but one has a stinger and the other is an AA-12.
 
Xboxers! Has the DLC hit XBL yet (I dunno exactly what time it is in the States, but I'm sure it's the 30th now :p)? If so, care to share your first impressions (of the new maps in particular)? :)
 
Not yet, I just got off it. It's a little after 1 a.m. where I am(should be little after 4 back east).
 
This is weird... I've barely played this game in the past week. I put down 4 or 5 games last night, managed to go 44 and 7 using a Berret and Akimbo M9s (most of the kills were on the M9s, put 50+ kills on them in those 5 games) running a Nuke setup. Almost had the nuke too till some random grenade got me at B :( Still, I figured I'd play terribly after a week of nothing...
