I haven't even played MW2 online since maybe 1-2 months before black ops.

Was just in a match where a couple of harmless mods were in effect, but then text comes up in the screen that reads "Get derank B***H!" I swear to God I backed out of the game about 0.98 seconds after I read that.

EDIT: Now I joined a lobby that switched up all my classes. 👎 :grumpy:
 
I'm not the biggest fan of this game by any stretch but seeing as I bought the game and all three map packs I think I should have a reasonable expectation of actually being able to play the game if I wanted.

Wow. I just realized that all my challenges have been reset and most of my weapon attachments are locked. Oh, and Emblems and Titles. And Pro perks.

This is what I get after playing 2 matches right after a pretty long break.
 
I only bought the two apparently but for the same price I bought all three for world at war.

Trying playing again. If this is the same hack as my CoD4 one, after one whole match, just about two-thirds the stuff were unlocked. And every time you did something, "challenge completed" were popping up. Play couple of matches, see what happens.

No one has responded from hupit so its probably just going to be us. If anyone wants to invite people form their friends list thats cool to. We might end up not having enough to make full teams otherwise.

A lot of my friends got rid of their copy of the game. Giancarlo on this site also got rid of his. I'll PM some other people I know on PSN, we'll see.

Do we know which date it's going to be yet?

@ Ashes, I can still do them if you require it. Though our time difference could be pretty nasty. Tuesday night I can stay onl ater if you can get on early stay on later whatever (GMT Time)

I'm up for this lobby too if its still going. I purposly got the hacked patch that you CANT take online so I didnt tempt myself.
 
We don't want or need any hackers. Its because of people like you that we can't play this game and have to do this in the first place.
 
Man I am seriously pissed about my headset. I can't get a new one at my local best buy and the only one gamestop has is the $215 collectors edition. Who the hell is going to pay that much for it just because its got a pretty skin, carrying case and some gold plated bits? I bought mine originally for $160.

They did say they could order the normal one from a different store but that it would take a week to get here.
 
Wow, hang on a second, just becuase you guys cant do it nor have the ability to doesnt mean you need to take your anger out on me.

I need money and if I can get stupid people to pay for the likes of this then why not?
 
It has absolutely nothing to do with being able to hack the game, as I am sure most any of us could find out how to hack the game with a quick Google search. The internet has loads of information on how to do just about everything, especially if one has a bit of patience to navigate through a bunch of useless information.

You hacking the game spreads the idea that it is okay for people to hack and encourages people to attempt to hack, help others hack, or lead people to someone who can hack. The rampant hacking that has taken hold in public matches has ruined both CoD4 and MW2 for a significant segment of people that still want to play the game how the producers intended.

Now if you want to hack on your time and for your own entertainment purposes, then be my guest, but do not ruin the experience for me or others by doing it in public matches.

WOW, Did I write that? I must have been mistaken.... How could I possibly have written about the patch that I purposly hunted for like 5 days after the PS3 was breached so I WOULD NOT download one that I could have taken online.....


Silly me.


I can host challenge lobbies where the stats and unlocks carry over to online. Thats it. That private match (key word there if you look hard enough) is able to be hacked for fun and games and then back to a normal online lobby. No going online and being invisible, or god mode, or super harriers. I wanted to hack the game for the experience of it. I wanted to hack the game TO KNOW WHAT I WAS UP AGAINST if I was to join a screwed lobby. Hell, the amount of suggestions I've sent back to IW on what whent wrong and how to improve the game and security now is countless.

Class me as the "anti-christ" or whatever, but if the opportunity comes you take it to learn from it.



And I apologize for that rant there, but some people are just too quick jumping to conclusions. Im sorry if what I've said does upset or offend you. Lol, getting this worked up over a video game, my god..... Im terrible :(
 
Brett, why do you even waste your breath? I noticed the very first post that started it. I also see what you were saying about mods like this helping the trend spread(this part of the post was ignored, completely. goes without saying). Not worth your time, unless they pay you to moderate or something, friend. :D

What do you guys think about limiting some of the less popular things? Like tubes and shotguns. Maybe even certain kill streaks.

If this goes well I'd be up for it being a weekly thing if there is more interest.

I'm open to any weapons, but the other team shouldn't have sniper rifles. Unless they are horrible with it, then I'm fine. Yeah, definitely afraid of snipers.....

I like the kill streak reward limits. Maybe all low streak rewards?
 
My thoughts were no tube attachments on rifles and no shotgun secondaries. I'm fine with snipers. For skill streaks (lol) I was thinking 3-5-7 or similar. Just keep it basic.
