Thankfully, better connection & silenced TAR brought me back(I rarely use it). Oh, and dumber opposing teams. :lol:

I think a big thing when we played those games together was we were running into a lot of Marathon, Lightweight, Commando UMP classes and OMA Danger close crap. Tends to happen more during the day as thats when the kids play.
 
I have seen One Man Army and Danger Close once since I started playing MW2 again. Other than that one time, I do not recall being hit with a grenade from a grenade launcher. Marathon, Lightweight, and Commando on the other hand is a completely different story. I absolutely love that Commando is a get out of jail free card when it comes to aiming in close quarters.

I have seen a bunch of people running around with either the Intervention or Barrett and not even thinking about using their secondary weapon when appropriate. This group is mostly harmless, but the few that are good at exploiting the combination of one shot kills and Sleight of Hand Pro are quite annoying. Even then, this group is a bit more harmful than the harmless group, but still annoying nonetheless.

Yeah, I don't stand a chance against the runners with my DSL, sometimes. If I'm doing good, my shot will get a register mark before they drop me. :lol: TAR helps quite a bit against those biatches, because I'm pretty good with hip-firing those things. Mad stopping power + decent fire rate. :D:tup:

I've been seeing OMA a lot, lately. I don't think they were using them in combination with the noob tubes though. I could be wrong.

I think I mentioned that one of my CoD buddies were complaining about quick scopers, but I don't know, I almost never have problems with them. Once in awhile, I see them in CoD4, and they are horrible.

P.S. I will never buy another FPS where knives can beat guns.

I have been playing a bit with the TAR-21 lately, though I only have the weapon in my Anti-Air class at the moment. I need to put it into another class, but I do not really want to replace any of the weapons in my other classes; I need one more class just for the TAR-21. I guess I could put the TAR-21 in place of my non-stealth SCAR-H class, as I have not really used that class at all. I may have to do that and put the L86 LSW back into my Anti-Air class, so I do not have a repeat of a primary weapon.

This very well may be the case and there may be more One Man Army users out there that I have noticed. I just happened to notice one person using it in conjunction with Danger Close. I will start watching a bit more closely and see if there are more One Man Army users.

Most of the quick scopers are harmless and are basically free kills. Occasionally, I will encounter one or two in a game that will manage to pick me off multiple times. Typically, I have the person lined up in my sights, am either about to fire or in the process of landing shots, and get killed before I start shooting or killing the person. I get incredibly annoyed that the person I am zoned in on can get one shot off without much work lining up the shot and kill me.

I gots three reasons:

1) I'm lazy.

2) I despise cable company. They are scam, as far as I'm concerned.

3) I'd use it only for online FPS, which as you know, I'm pretty much done with.

Edit: Brett, on the OMA players, I don't see them much, but I hear their zippers!

Good point. But either of the FPS games that I like playing are current, so I still think I'm done. :D

I could not tell you what any of the Gran Turismo sections contain at this point on GTP. I have not visited them in ages.

I have Frontier(same thing as Verizon DSL), and it is not even in the same league as the Comcast.
 
Its not even on the same planet. Switching from Frontier I feel like an alien space ship landed in my back yard with this amazing technology which has brought me from the stone age to the space age.
 
I see the anti-cheating patch has done a really good job, already full of 'em all again. Really annoying tonight, on the verge of getting my K/D up to above 1...
 
What kind of cheating? I've been playing it everyday, last week or so. I haven't noticed anything.

When I was running with TheCracker earlier, there was some cheating going on called overseas server. :p After we picked up VashTheStampede, TheCracker was yellow 2-bar rest of the way. He did well, considering. :lol: He had one game he pretty much carried us!

Some good games last night guys 👍

It's a good job you asked me what the time was when you did. My PS3 was showing 1am (which was late enough) but then i realised that it hadn't automatically switched to BST and was actually 2am. Thankfully not too tired this morning.

Yeah, it was quite a bit of fun yesterday evening. 👍

I played a few more games last night with A6 and ended on a 15-1 game. Had I positioned myself better while using my first Predator missile, I would have likely not died.

I hope for MW3 they bring in something to stop TeamKillers, infuriating.

I'm not doubting you, but I haven't seen a thing. And how can you tell that they know where all of your teammates are? Couldn't they have just gotten lucky? :confused:

P.S. If you want cheating, I got cheated last night! I was on Crash, camping on second floor of this building. I see this guy go prone, easily over hundred yards out, I start firing my ACR at him. After he drops me, I see the kill cam, I couldn't believe what I saw. He's laying down, sighting me in with what looks like a USP! I want my money back. :crazy:
 
I've started to play some more Search and Destroy games as of lately. Definitely liking it more than TDM. Had an especially fun sniping round at Derail where I could finally go for some old-school CoD sniping. Good fun! 👍
