Since the update, I haven't seen one hacked lobby. Even in CoD4, those were rare after the update. đź‘Ť

I was talking about the campers. I have absolutely no solution regarding knifers. You don't have to be knife only to pwn my a** at knifing. Just this week, I'm pretty sure I had about three of those encounters, and not one time, my knife even come out. And every single time, after I spawn, I check to see if my melee button actually works(of course it sill does). :(
 
I so associated the "G" with what's on your avatar. I didn't even think about Major League "Gaming". No offense, Freddie's one of the best rocker's, all-time + the best vocalist of all-time, period. It's official, as far as I'm aware.

As far as "pumping" music(no pun intended. not at all!) go, I don't believe in it. I used to try that before playing basketball. All it did was make me reckless. It's all gonna be up to your mind IMO. ;)

I would prefer several hollow points to a knife any day. If only the knife wasn't a one hit kill this game wouldn't be as bad.
 
Yeah, that thing about required two hits from the front that Azuremen mentioned before makes so much sense. Like that one demotivational poster said, only game where you bring a knife to a gun fight & win. đź‘Ž

Also, knife to the face comment had me laughing. The new guy from work I've been playing with, SgtSasquash, while he's good, he's also a major goof-off. In CoD4 days, he'd run around with pistols & RPGs. In MW2, he's been effing around with throwing knives, and my, the stories. I told him I wish he'd apply himself, so we can win some of these matches easier. :lol:

It sounds like you're suffering without my l33t skills a6. Man I have missed my PS3, and it's only been like 36 hours. I need an hour or two to just blank my mind and goof off. I'm getting a chance to catch up weeks worth of shows on my DVR though.

i'm surprised about how less you forget about this game, after a good 6 months pause, i just ran around the first couple of games refreshing the buttonwork, after 5 games i was back up to date and playing like i did a year ago.
and if you've been playing GT5 online you forget about how fast you can get into an online game, very nice

From what I've read, you end up with a refurb if it's a major problem (and out of warranty) which is what I've got. What I thought of not long ago is how the hell am I going to get my MW2 disc out. I'm just glad it isn't one of the games I borrowed that's stuck in there now.

Bit of lolz at the end of the 6th part, as he fixes the PS3 he'd bought off ebay, presses eject to turn it on, and out pops COD.

It's true man. I was a little bored with Black Ops last night so I decided to pop in MW2 for a bit. I figured I would get owned since I hadn't played in months but I got back into it in no time. Won some games, got a couple predator and harrier killstreaks and felt good. I forgot how easily people go down in that game though. It's refreshing to be able to drop enemies with a couple bullets compared to Black Ops where you have to pump enemies with half a magazine. Still get the usual Commando knifers and campers but I don't think they'll ever go away.

agreed, yesterday i stuck some semtex on a camper, killed him and an one of his teammates passing through :D
 
After never using the MG4 prior to the last week, at least outside of dieing with the weapon a few times and deciding the weapon was useless, I have to say that the MG4 is quite effective with a Red Dot Sight. The weapon is annoying to use before unlocking the Red Dot because of the misaligned iron sights, but the Red Dot Sight solves that problem. The recoil of the weapon with the Grip is somewhere between the M4A1 and ACR, but I find Bling to be a poor perk choice with the weapon and just go with the Red Dot Sight. With just the Red Dot Sight, the MG4 is comparable to the M4A1, but with 70 extra rounds and less movement speed.
 
I love the MG4, becasue it probably the least used weapon. The silencer is screwed and like you said the Iron Sights are slightly wrong. Apart from that it can destroy unexpecting teams with ease.
 
Can't you make adjustments, like aim lower?
 
The bullets from an iron sighted MG4 hit at about the mid point or bottom point of the middle post on the front sight. You can aim higher, but that is too much of a pain and leads to a lot of missed shots because you have to consciously aim a bit higher than normal, instead of just concentrating on your target.

Unlike the L86 or RPD, the MG4 does not need a Grip to reduce recoil to a manageable level. Without a Grip, the MG4 probably has slightly more recoil than the M4A1; with the Grip, the recoil is probably about the same, maybe slightly less. Using a Red Dot Sight, instead of a Grip, just means you can actually aim at your target and not have to worry about adjusting your aim point.

Interesting. I'll do little experimenting myself. I'm gonna try without the red dot, first. I'll try aiming like I'm going for the headshots, see what happens. Maybe make little adjustments. :D:tup:
 
My complaint with the MG4 is it lacks damage compared to some of the other LMGs. Working on mastery for the M240 now... I can't make up my mind how I feel about this thing. Sometimes it is awesome, sometimes I just want to punch it in the face. Can't decide if I prefer Grip + RDS or Grip + Silencer.

Really just need to get FMJ unlocked on it so I can work on that challenge and SitRep... currently at 76/120 so far...
 
So I finished the campaign yesterday and was quite disappointed with it. As of lately I'm also getting increasingly frustrated with the way and pace the multiplayer goes. It all feels so much Counter-Strike like where you just rush to an area, bang 'em out and shoot down everyone who's still alive. And I absolutely hated the nonsense CS was.

Sigh, I kind of wished I never sold my CoD 1 copy. You could pick any map and choose to either snipe and lay in the snow all day long until a German moved into your view or you could go with a rifle and flanked them. The MW2 maps all feel way too chaotic and too small.

I assume you were playing Source on public servers. That is all I can figure out. The pace of MW2 is nothing like that of CS. Maybe a bit in SnD, kind of, but the perks still change all that.
 
I have been playing 1.6 for quite some time and can't stand but feel a similarity. There's just this feeling about the gameplay "Screw it, rush in, bang them out and shoot the rest" I am just not liking.
 
I'm really struggling with my game. MG4 thing didn't help either. :lol: My internet is so bad that I'm getting a delay on my shots. Some lobby's, my first 2, 3 shots, I don't even get the register mark. I know I kid about it, but my aim's now all over the place, too. Not by a little bit, think 2, 3 feet off. This I blame on my brain, which has been just cloudy since I was sick & sleep deprived last week. My read on the opposing team movement has been really off in some games. I've had few games where they did exactly the opposite of what I thought they'd do, just about every time. Lastly, you guys are talking about campers and knifers, I've been getting owned by noob tubes like crazy.

I'm in a slump. :grumpy:
 
Thankfully, better connection & silenced TAR brought me back(I rarely use it). Oh, and dumber opposing teams. :lol:
