Few times I had party going on PSN, I experienced no issues. That was last week though.

On Xbox Live, I had couple of issues with getting the party into matches. There was one occasion too, where Zrow was in it. We either lost a player or two trying to get into a match, or going into the second match, team got separated in opposite teams. Never seen that before!
 
loving the game!

I have question, buddy of mine kept watching me play on my ps3 and he wants to get the game now for his PC. Are we both going to be able to play together online?

Oh, and has anyone already been in a game that has been nuked by someone having a kill streak of 25?

PS3 to PC doesn't work, there are some which do with 360 to PC though.
 
Seems like the invite system is hit-and-miss, because I just managed to successfully accept a party invite from a6m5, whereas I couldn't with another PSN friend...

I kinda hate that all the 3rd person modes are limited to 4v4. I hope IW changes that up to the full capacity in 1st person view.
 
Dude, I'm playing with A6M5 and Sharky... This airport map is the BEST MAP EVAR. Seriously awesome. First time I've played it.
 
Omnis, I *may* have been accidentally trying to snipe you... I saw this head behind a car without a tag and started shooting... :lol:
 
Omnis has a large head. One time I was trying to shoot this chopper down, and it turned out to be.... nevermind. j/k :lol:

I love the airport, too. Unfortunately for me, my connection sucked, so I had to empy an entire clip to down anybody. That last game we played on scrapyard? I finally got three bars, plus, I knew the map well, so it helped me tremendously.

Would anybody be up for some team deathmatches in 20, 30 minute? I'm gonna be back on for sure.
 
Real life shooting is a lot easier. I can shoot very stable, compared to this game. In real life, I just have to deal with the kick, and that's easy to control if you know how. I know how.

However, the SCAR jumps around in a way that's not at all accurate to real life. At least not for me.

Sorry Omnis, I was only interested in the regular on line battles. I'm trying to unlock stuff before I send this game back. Plus, I don't earn any stars on Spec Op games I haven't yet unlocked.

Yep, I've been nuked in a game. My second day of playing, it was pretty cool I must admit.

:ouch: That probably explains why I seem to suck so much. Never had more than two bars on the scoresheet, usually only get one (as was the case in the games with a6, Solid, Omnis and whoever the other guy was just before :lol: )

Ive never heard of pingtest but apparently I am fine for Australia which is obvious:


But apparently not spain:


Its weird, at the start of the test it was 340ms and 6 jitter and I think the end result came out wrong but meh. I can play fine if not better on 2 bars than on 3 or 4 and I can play just above 1.00 KD on a 1 bar depending on how bad it is.

can somebody explain me in a short discription was special ops is for exactly?
haven't even tried that yet, not even the campaign, just played the first 2 missions there. im hooked to online game play. hardcore team deathmatches!

Got your invite last night, but was just finishing off a Prestige in CoD4 and it was getting late. I'll join next time you're on 👍

1-3 shot kills pretty much aswell as the other stuff.

My KD was 1.36 earlier and I just got it up to 1.39 with two amazing matches.

I randomly joined a S and D and got an 8 or 9 kill streak with a final result of 11-1 on Estate. I got 2 game winning kills, one being in a helicopter gunner seat from my emergency drop and the other a superb sniper shot. That was pretty cool but not as cool as my next match.

I had a horrid start on a match on Afghan TDM with a start of 6 deaths sraight, from there I was tempted to leave my favourite map and not lose KD. I went up to that little bunker opposite the cave and started some camping. I got up to 8 kills with my thermal Barret and had already called the predator missile and now wanted to call in my emergency drop, I managed that and got all the boxes. Uav, anti Uav, attack helicopter and a pavelow. I called in the pavelow and uav's first and had to wait for clear airspace until the attack chopper came in.

The pavelow finished with a lovely 9 kills and then the attack came in and gave it another 6 with my occasional snipe in between. By then I had a 25 kill streak but the game wouldnt count emergency drop items to my streak. Nonetheless in my mind I still got a massive streak with help. Fun match although boring peering out the bunker every few seconds to see all my sniper kills being annihilated by the choppers.

Physics applies here, my boy. You'll never ping below a couple hundred across the globe, just check the routing from your PC with a trace route. Heck, me playing CS on a server in the MidWest adds 40ms to my latency over one in Seattle.

Good if you're playing against others in the Emirates, but if you mostly play against guys in the US or Australia, the distance will likely drop your ping to one much slower. Try doing a speed test using a US based server as the location.

The reason I was lagging badly was because I just installed Windows 7 and the update process decided to start and hog up all my bandwidth. Finally made my running/knifing build and just have been stabbing the crap out of people without much care for my K/D ratio.
 
When I was playing last night, I saw it! This big round thing with hair on top. I aimed. I fired. I emptied near an entire M4 clip into it. It's lower appendages fired back... and killed me, despite I had the jump on it. Never go to battle with the Omnis head. It's deadly.

Oh, I decided to follow a few of you guys around, just to see how you play. You guys camp a lot. I'm always moving, but then I usually play Domination (capture and hold three flags) and you must constantly move in that game. If you don't, you lose.

But, even though I followed a few of you around, I was ALWAYS the first person killed. I remember hiding behind a6m5, as he was camping behind a rock, and a guy in the house ahead shoots and kills me. Totally ignores him, but nails only me.

Well, you guys saw how I played. Things I were doing wrong? (I guess, "moves around too much" is the problem?)

I guess I'll keep this game for another week. Having fun with you guys, even though I get killed too often for my tastes, was still fun enough to keep the game for a while longer. I'm also playing co-op with my boys. (I think Santa might get this for them for their Xbox360).

I'm now using the SCAR. I have no choice. I must get used to it. Emptying an near entire magazine of M4 ammo into the 'Omnis Head' and still getting killed really points things out to me. I'm still going to use the M4, though. I finally 'mastered' it, but I have a few more challenges I want to complete with it. 1,000 kills and 500 head shots.
