I had a lovely dose of noobs to own today. I was getting lots of chopper gunners and harriers. I was actually getting, even at my high level, 2 more titles per match for about 5 matches in a row. I was completely baffled but meh, more titles to choose, I got a few flag ones today, I think there were:
The Great White North
The Exterminator?
There was also another which I cant remember. It was a good day overall and now that I play on an HD monitor it is much more comfortable and easy.
 
I had no easy games. :indiff: I did OK, but I think I had just one emergency airdrop, which was the highest reward I got. K/D didn't change that much though, 2.04 to 2.03. Wonder how long this will last. :p

I want that Japanese flag title that says "Rising Sun". I read that you have to have 50 pavelow kills, but I can't find that challenge in the barracks anywhere. It's probably part of the prestige. Shucks.

Me and Legendary joined a match and the entire team were full of noobs ranked 20 or below, soooo easssyyyyy getting chopper gunna'
I love my FMJ ACR.
 
Yeah, mine was full of prestigers. :ouch:

I like FMJ on ACR, too, but I sacrifice it for the marathon-pro + red dot.

Noooo. COD4 I could understand, but you sometimes get a good team of people in MW2 who beat you fair and square and I can't do anything about it.

I'm pretty inconsistent - I do considerably better on some maps than others. More open maps I do the best on, sometimes smaller ones when I rush right. But otherwise I'm not really a rusher - I admit I sometimes camp a little bit but I always move around to another spot if I've killed a few people and I know they will know where I am and come after me. That's usually not a good thing because they sometimes get a shotgun out and instantly shoot you around a corner. :dunce:
 
Well had my best game so far with a 12-2-13 in Demolition and my team won pretty handily also. Finished last night pretty well also. I think I may be catching on to a few of the maps. I will probably be playing off and on for about half of the day today.

And just topped my previous best with a 14-2-4 in Demolition on Derail. Managed to get the highest K/D and Juggernaut for the game.

Just had a game that I started out 0-0-6 and finished 8-0-8. I think I might be improving a bit.

I don't know. I think your k/d looked pretty good to me, last I checked. Holy crap. I just went on XBL to check and you are at 2.74. :crazy: On XBL, I think I have the next best k/d on my friends list at 1.88, though I'm not suggesting I'm the second best player on my friends list. Far from it. :D

On PSN though, I think I have two people over 2.0 k/d, Magburner's one of them.

While the results can be random in CoD sometimes, you will only get better with time. Better weapons, more powerful perks, getting the maps down is huge, too.
 
Well, those who are interested I have the cash to buy MW2, but I'm getting Assassins Creed 2 tomorrow so I won't be in a major rush to get it.

Yeah it is in the Prestige part. You get titles for getting 50 kills with harriers, chopper gunner, predator etc. Then it moves on and you need 250 kills for the next title :dunce:.

I hate being on the receiving end of that gun, especially when you are setting up a night on the roof, good ol overnight camp.

Stavingo is right though, I got two chopper gunners and he may have gotten two ac-130's? I remember I was on rundown and I was on the building with the 3 parts and the walkways that go across to the next part, I got up to 4 kills with my sniper and then looked at the heart beat sensor. I was being SWARMED, I switched to the pimpin' 2000 and ran down the far staircase where the cows are. With the extended mags I got another 4 kills without reloading, that brought me to an 8 kill streak without using my predator or harriers. I quickly called in the harriers from where I was, kinda hiding, then I tried to call in the predator and in the bottom left I see someone has knifed me :(. The PP-2000 still amazed me though, it is an incredible gun.
 
I just had to stop playing, quit the match within the first couple minutes to cry in here.

I'm on Wasteland map, within the first minute, I take out couple of their snipers with my silenced M4, it was all peachy. Then I'm about to work the other side of the map, the other team calls in the Predator. No problem, I got cold blooded pro on....... Half the team follows me, I could not shake them, though my virtual life did depend on it.

Where do these idiots come from? Against Predator missile strike, there is no strength in numbers. Spread! Run from your teammates to minimize the @&$#!*^ damage! This happens so often now, it's not even funny. I try my best to lose them, too, but noooooo, they wanna stick together. This is so damn frustrating. :grumpy:

You know..... I didn't want to, but I will have to prestige now. I am at lv.70 on XBL, so I'll start there. And you get the extra custom class slot too, right? Sounds good to me!
 
^^ I know your feeling, I am cold blooded kinda in the open but the chopper gunner wouldnt be able to see me until half my bloody team sits right next to me and before I now it, I am dead.
 
I just don't understand it. And it's not like we are accidentally doing it. I'm ahead of everybody, and they are following me, like they haven't eaten in days, and I'm holding their candy bar in my hand or something!

They did it to me again, but I got away this time! :D

This CoD4 badge, I've seen a pic of it, but didn't know it rotated.

Finally, they did it to me. I just ended up on the team where I was the only non-chevron, I'm at lv. 61. Other team has two multi-prestige, two single prestigers, and two chevrons. I seriously thought about backing out, then I remembered the courageous noobs on your team, I decided to give it a go.

I finished 29-4, while my second best player(in kills) went 5-17, rest were about the same with all of them dying at least 12 times apiece. I can laugh about it, because I got lucky with my pavelow. It paved alright. :lol:
 
For some stupid reason, when Stavingo, my mate and I decided to do some search an destroy I was put as host. There was only 8 or 9 people in the server but at the start of every round when everyone was spawning it lagged for a few seconds. That is of course inconvenient on Scrap Yard and Stavingo was whining at me. It would recover and be fine but I still dont understand why my wireless adsl1 60% strength connection was host. I can host but it never lets me and when everyone is always spawning it isnt so great, TDM might have worked but I will never know. All the Aussies know is that all morning all we have been joining is yellow bar servers, it is starting to get really really annoying.
 
Bloody hell, there was a 10th Prestige on the other team and he was shockingly bad... Obviously boosted or hacked. He got like a 0.25 K/D everytime I was against him and he left the game after a while. :D

I must have had like 35-5 against him every time.


I also don't understand why my NAT is sometimes moderate. This morning I checked my Xbox IP and changed my DMZ and the COD ports to its IP, and it worked. But once the router had been reset again this evening the IP changed again. I set both up to the new IP and its still moderate... It's really bugging me.
 
I really don't get the boosting thing. I don't want to boost because if I'm 10th prestige all of the good players are going to be gunning for me, and then when I'm not performing up to 10th prestige level they will be just giggling about me like you are him. Don't understand it at all, I boosted in COD4 to unlock a acog for some gun that I was having a hard time with but it was just a handful of head shots, nothing like what people are doing on MW2.
 
You boosted for a friggin' ACOG, you noob! :p

I never goldcrossed for the same reason in CoD4. I'm sure I've put in enough time to, but I couldn't live up to that emblem, that's for sure. :lol:

Edit: I just achieved my best TDM score tonight. 44-4 on Rundown. It's quite sad how you get friend request after games like that, then you'd have to break it to them. Very gently. :lol:

Just had the most hilarious game ever - 18-0-11 at Sub Base in a TDM, against some level 20 noobs.


I was using Marathon Pro, Lightweight Pro, Commando Pro, Mini-Uzi, G18, and Care Package as a KS reward. Obviously I was knifing everyone. :lol:


edit: after a slow start, 12-0-10 next match :D
14-2-14 third match, including two sentry gun streaks :lol:

I must apologize to all you guys who kept sending me invites yesterday. I was set up in a LAN party with family, and half the time wasn't even on my own PS3. I wasn't ignoring you, I just couldn't get out a reply message.

I did have a beast of a day by my standards early on though. 22-0 on Derail with the help of my attack chopper and chopper gunner. And 34-10 or something I forget where running and knifing. A lot of green levels helped out.

Thank you, someone found that useful! I really enjoy finding glitches in games as much as I do playing them. I understand how games are put together as far as coding and mapping and such so finding glitches isn't hard sometimes, just have to understand how its put together so you know what to look for, hence why I'm a part of mapmonkeys.com. If anyone is interested in looking for glitches and doesn't know exactly where to start just PM me and I will help out as much as possible:tup: I like the under maps and all but I don't use them in ranked, I will use out of map ones to snipe in HC sometimes though so I will admit that. Dummy glitches were some of my favorites to do in COD4, unfair....very. The whole negative feedback on 360 doesn't even effect you so I really don't care. All of my negative is for the same reason, too aggressive. I am the person who rushes the other team and is running around knifing all of the campers, brings me great joy:)

Agreed the 360 neg rep thing is effectively meaningless, however within the context of conversation surrounding the game I just found it humorous and thought I'd share. Come to think of it maybe it was the guy I got an instant throwing knife payback on (he off'd me just a fraction of a second after the knife left my hand) down the long arched hallway on Skid Row. Even though it was a pretty lucky shot I'd have to agree that guy had a right to be pissed at me :D

I mentioned about bypassing the Akimbo 1887 patch but realized I never put the perks up to do it:idea:

Bling pro with Akimbo and FMJ's

That's it, others are optional but I suggest stopping power and steady aim. The FMJ's on it with the Akimbo puts the range right back to where it was before the patch:tup:
