:lol: Gotta love whiny noobs, using a certain perk is a crime now? While he's at it, why doesn't the guy campaign for removal of thermal scopes? :lol:

8-9 prestiged and getting pwned... I presume they did the prestige hack because they sucked too much to get there the hard way? :D
 
I never even bother giving them a serious reply. If he wants to act like a crying little baby, I'll treat him like one. My replies always goes along the lines of "hey, that's really neat, kid! lol". They NEVER reply me back after that.

Camping is not fair, M16 is not fair(in CoD4, of course), Juggernaut is not fair, UAV Jam./Cold Blooded is not fair, etc., etc., etc. It's one thing to cry about it to your friends, on messageboards, etc., but calling someone out during the match, or after, I think that's really sad. It's part of the game, and if you can't figure that out and getting all upset about it enough to call people out, you probably should move on to some other games.

Besides, if you get owned by a camper, you should own him back. That's one of the funnest part of going online, unless you suck!

I got a PSN message last night from one disgruntled player who called me a camper.
I replied and asked exactly how was i camping and the reply was i had the cold blooded perk on. I apologised for having this perk on and replied what camping really is and his rant was that your whole team was camping because we kicked their little bums on about 5 games when they were 8-9 prestiged.

it does. his 1st message was titled "Keep your chin up Camper" and that was the only game he took part in and just about won. When he left i titled my message AWOL.

djw321. He's reached level 70 and is bored now. Turns up in your game and teamkills constantly. I headshotted him and, after the match, got the PSN message "Why did you kill me? We were on the same team.". He got put into the other team for the next game and teamkilled them.


On the topic of campers, I love people who, when you're sniping against them call you ":censored:ing camping 🤬" but when you're sniping for them in the very next match boast about how we won.

I didn't engage with him (except to put a bullet in his virtual brain), so these are questions I can't answer.

Up til now I havent received any messages of this sort, I did get some abuse one time over the mics from a lobby that was pissed that I was running around only knifing people with my knifing class.... They were pissed off big time, other then that I havent gotten any... I know youre not a camper from playing with you and the T&L crew on occassion, so he's just spewing poop out of his mouth and wasting his time...
 
One day I was in a prty and one of my friends friends added me, sure why not. I played against him in S and D with my Clan Tag set as my parties clan, I am not actually in the clan. The clan is great, they owned and of course being on the other team he had a whine. First message was a complaint of course:
Your clan uses Heart Beat Sensors, that is so low. I said that it isnt 'my' clan and that heart beats cant be low if barely anyone uses them, they are a strategic advantage if used correctly.
His next complaint was that we were camping, we were on the defending side for gods sakes and we arent exactly expected to leg it across derail, or are we? He then complained again and I deleted him, cant even remember the complaint, just that he was a whiney little baby.

Another one, today in S and D I was last alive and the other guy was last alive and he had to defuse the bomb at B on scrap yard. My team mate got killed by him by B and I was around the corner so I walked into where that firey truck is near b and sat there for all of 5 seconds. He came around the corner and I got him with the PP2000. The game winning kill doesnt show me moving to my spot, it shows me looking for him through the flames and so he called me a camper and my reply to that was not pretty.
 
I just laugh of those who complain about camping :lol: only reason they complain is because they die alot. They just need to learn the game:)

As the obligate sniper/camper I am, I have a specific set-up for Terminal. Riot Shield, SPAS-12, Blast shield, Flashbang, Marathon Pro, Lightweight Pro, Commando Pro. Very campy :D

I just went 12-0-6 without using anything other than the shield and I completed three challenges in that game - Smash Hit (3-kill Riot Shield streak), Money Shot (Game-winning Killcam payback) and Owned (Game-winning kill with Riot Shield) :D

I think I might have to cave and buy MW2 soon, I have nobody to play most games with now and I've found a place to get a good 30% off MW2. MW2 has effectively ended any kind of social gaming I had previously and playing alone whilst everyone on my list is on MW2 is just not fun. I may prefer the other games, but I prefer friends to games.

I have gotten messages before from idiots on COD4 but they were never specific. I remember one all it said was, "suck balls". haha....wha? I think they were just made from getting their faces ripped up by my M16.

This is unbelievable. After all you said about not buying I have an epic surprised face on right now, kinda like this :dunce:. I know what you are feeling though, whenever I get on GTA I get messages from all my mates to get back on, MW2 has created aliens:scared:. I actually have to play GTA on my GTP account just to avoid the messages (and because of the low friends it actually works online).

It is currently 4:30am on Christmas day being in this thread reminds me that one million and one 10 year olds will be getting the game within hours :crazy:.

Indeed, I stand by every single word I speculated and then validated, but I can see that I may be able to deal with it for the sake of playing with friends.
 
Most of them will probably be on after Boxing day as some some will doing the campaign I guess first and then it's going to be Open Season so good luck to everyone.

I am not too worried, I love it when I join a server with the people below level 30, I see there rank icons and think how easy that match could be. Then two other things can happen, that could be a good players sub account or those people get put on my team :grumpy:. In any case, lots more low level lobbies to have fun in.

Should be interesting to see how I get on from the kick off, I was getting a fair amount of MVPs within my first few games on X360 but I did get to have some of the perks and things of course, friend was level 65. It's unlikely they're even sub accounts on those good players, just played other CODs alot because it is basically the same game under new clothes.

*Somehow* I got All Pro - 2+ headshots with a single bullet. Two things were odd about it. 1, there were four* enemies running through the same doorway to one of the warehouses (Sub Base) at the same time and 2, 12-gauge counts as a bullet. :lol:



*ended up nailing all four with the SPAS-12 :cool:
 
I love the spas 12, that is what I got all pro with too. The amount of triples you can get with that gun is amazing.

Can't wait to see you online buddy. 👍 Just approach with little caution here. While most of my CoD online friends has adjusted well to MW2, one of my buddies who's a FPS veteran, unstoppable in CoD4, he still struggles at times in this game. And in your case, you'd have the disadvantage of having to learn the new maps + perks, also. I'm sure you'll do fine, just wanted to give you a heads up. ;)
 
I found the hardest thing to adjust to is the Gun/Perk combo, it's all changed so much I don't dare venture away from Stopping Power Pro and Steady Aim Pro. I've always used them in COD4 and it worked for me then so it can work for me now.
 
In a couple of minutes I am going to tackle noobish hell and see how I go :p.
