I suck at this game.![]()
Aww, gimme a break! And Cale, if you play/practice enough, you will be "decent". Not many players can keep up "good" level of play all the time in this game. Many ups & downs for the most of us. I also suggest reading up on many tricks & techniques that are suggested by the CoD veterans in this thread. And if you have any questions, you know you can ask us anything in this thread.I do too.
I do too.
Watching the 'kill cam' points it out. Notice when you aim and fire in the 'kill cam' footage. Sometimes, I'm shown not firing at all when I knew I got a few shots off before dying. A few times, I never saw the enemy fire a single shot at me, yet in the kill cam he's seen unloading into me.
There are ways to breakdown any type of players. Going against campers, unless you are pretty good player, you never run 'n' gun against them. I was on a team last night that did do just that. Other team, the entire team, were just camping. My team full of noobs just kept rushing at them, they all came out with k/d less than 0.5, and I was the only one on the team who came out positive. I can't remember exactly by how much, but we lost a really close one. I was not happy!I'm pretty sure my k/d is .4. I was playing earlier and the other team was camping with their heart beat sensors.
Oh. My. God. Don't even get me started on this. I don't know how many times I got screwed by this on a very critical part of the matches, in CoD4 & MW2.This is known in the trade as 'magic bullets' like when you run around a corner, run back and still die because the player shooting you never saw you get back behind.

I've played in games with mostly Koreans and Japanese, and the always kick the crap out of me. I notice these two societies have the fastest internet connection. Then, I play against the French or Russian players, and I always kick the crap out of them. I have a feeling it's their slower internet connection speed.
Managed to do that to a teammate (oops) but not a enemy.Just got the challenge for killing a player by dropping a crate on them!![]()

This is known in the trade as 'magic bullets' like when you run around a corner, run back and still die because the player shooting you never saw you get back behind. It's the same problem occuring in the case of a guy killing you and it appears as if you never fired a shot when you did. It happens, and I believe it's the host who is most likely to be involved in such events although I have no proof.

Maybe if i'm lucky I find one that is inactive when I have a care package![]()
Aha yeah... I mean I swear it was almost like a red bar connection it was that bad. But I still did okay-ish... apart from putting like 3/4 of a tar clip into you all detecting and you didn't die.Me & G.T just played a couple. Unfortunately for him, he had two bar connection, and they were on couple of maps I consider "run 'n' gun" maps: Skidrow & Scrapyard.
In the second game, we got separated, but he was so close to bringing his team over the top. I was top on my team, he was on his team. I'm upgrading(again) my SCAR, which doesn't even have the red dot yet, so I think I might've noobtubed him couple of times. Forgive me, James.![]()
Dude, I just got this 22" widescreen from Dell, and even that's smaller than I thought it was going to be. I guess if you play pretty close to the monitor, it's not a problem.Woohoo! I just ordered my Turtle Beach X1's and a 19" Widescreen PC Monitor. I will be playing my 360 on the monitor. So now I have a router with modded firmware to use with it, nice headset, and a nice monitor to use with it as well. All I need now is my 360 back!
I know what you mean. Even when they show two bar when you check the connection, I think they do fluctuate quite a bit.Aha yeah... I mean I swear it was almost like a red bar connection it was that bad. But I still did okay-ish... apart from putting like 3/4 of a tar clip into you all detecting and you didn't die.![]()
