So I prestiged today...I am now second prestige and I owned with my little baby killstreaks.

My mates wanted to play Demolition so we went into demolition on Estate. I came out the end not looking too shabby 41 - 7. I was level 11 by the end of it and at the end of the round I got to unlock a new killstreak, harrier was my choice. A few matches later we are back on Estate (I used my sniping class both times, PP-2000 in it). On this match I called in around 6 care packages, two had pavelows in them, one ammo, one uav, one counter uav and one precision airstrike. Each of them picked up alot of kills and chuck in between my harriers and predator missiles and you have one very ownage match. I finished the match 56- 1- 15. I had gotten 3 harrier strikes and probably around 5 predators with my killstreaks. Very good match.

On a different match altogether, highrise demoltion, me and my mates were banking our kill streaks to wreak hell at the start of next round just for fun. We had lotso f carepackages that we called in and collected, in total we had 5 uavs. We called everything and owned like hell, we noticed one very cool thing. While you may think that if you call in 2 or 3 uavs at once it is a waste, it actually does something. It makes the uav run through the map 2 or 3 times faster, we called in all 5 and well, the uav was at hyper speed, the line that scans your minimap was bloody fast. It still only lasts 30 seconds but it was pretty win 👍. Cool little discovery.

I can't believe you prestiged again though. I am glad to hear that you are doing real good, but man, that is a lot of work. I think I got up to lv. 35 now? I got my claymore, I got my Ninja-Pro, so life's pretty good. When I get my red dotted ACR back, it would be just perfect.

I wish this game had just one platform. Going back & forth has become such chore. And I really dread switching between the two for all the adjustments I have to make!

You're all still leaps and bounds ahead of me with my play time, I think I'm level 30 but I don't mind. I just need to try get my cold blooded up to pro, same with ninja. Which is why I wanted to hit 30, Stinger. On the minus side it may leave me striving for ammo, which I find alot as it is, but I do use the Famas to conserve as much as I can.

I can't believe you prestiged again though. I am glad to hear that you are doing real good, but man, that is a lot of work.

Yeah, I prestiged on CoD4 alot too, drag put it to me bluntly, why level up for something you already had. I do not know, I do enjoy unlocking it again and I know it doesnt make sense . I just do it, I have 4 days and 16hours gameplay but that is nothing compared to my legit 6th prestige friend who already has nearly 11 days . I know it is alot of work bro but I enjoy it, I can see why it is annoying for you to level up two accounts though, I would hate it too.

Some people do like unlocking the things again, they see it as a challenge. I was just saying from a personal perspective, from where I sit it takes more time then skill to prestige and unlock things, when at the end of the day I could just keep those and not be stuck with set ups I don't enjoy again for long periods simply because I don't play as religiously as others.

probably won't be prestiging the 2nd time as I am not bothered about titles and emblems.
Had some very bad games earlier on today, just couldn't kill anyone even after unloading a full damn magazine into them. Watching the kill cams it was down to laaaaaaaag.
Ime not bothered about KD ratio as ime more of team/objective player but 20 kills and 46 deaths was abit to much for me aswell.

Well I had my best game today with a 20-2-5 and also had probably my worst with a 2-0-13. The best game was doing just about everything right and the 2-0-13 game, I could not do anything right at all. Absolutely brutal to play so well at times today and play so badly at times also. I am taking a bit of a break right now to let my eyes have a break.

Well I'm a fool. I've gone and entered prestige because I actually want too. I guess I was bored of using the same setup over and over, playing like a fool. I enjoy unlocking stuff again because when you don't have it, it forces you to try something new.

I think I'll keep prestiging whenever I can now, same as I have done on COD4, and probably will do on every other COD game I ever own.

However none of that bothers me, I just do it for situation it puts you in. Gutted I've lost my Fall Camo Intervention though. That's the one gun I will miss.

I dont enjoy unlocking things again in any other game, I lost my secondary save to GTA IV and that was my trophy save, I simply can not be bothered to play the story mode again. On MW2 I am a different, I guess you could see the prestige mode as a god, you must prestige to follow a type of religion. All of my younger friends (my age) do prestige and I kinda follow suite. That doesnt mean I am forced into it, I still love to do it but I am just not sure why.

Yes I know. Some of the challenges reset, I believe it was all of the ones from knife veteran to the bottom, flash veteran I think it was. You dot lose the Blade Veteran/Master title but you can do the challenge again. The killstreak ones like chopper gunner and harriers get to stay on what they were. I am also pretty sure the individual gun challenges stay on what they were.

Yep, I randomly got matched up with Mr Shark there. The server then migrated to some guy who I think was from Italy, everyone had a bad connection, the next game Mr Shark was hosting and all was well.

The generator actually accept the "¥" mark now. 👍 So this is exactly how my tag look like on XBL. PS3 doesn't have the yen mark, so I can't use my clan tag when playing on PSN. 👎

Yeah, switching between the light analog stick on the PS3 and X360's heavy stick's the worst part. It sucks!

On prestiging, I can see why you enjoy it. It's a challenge in a game we all love, and it renews the game again. I can see why many would actually get enjoyment out of it. I guess it's kind of cool that they threw in some incentives in there, so even someone like me is forced to prestige.

Like SweetShop said, new titles, new emblems. I've heard that you get an additional custom class, every other prestige. I just prestiged on XBL, my very first, and got one more custom class slot. It helps.

I don't know if this is true, but I've heard that there will be additional perks that'll become available by prestiging. I don't know exactly what or when. That's what I've heard somewhere.

You get an extra custom class slot on every odd-numbered prestige (1, 3, 5, 7, 9).

Regarding "Prestige Perks", I sincerely hope not. Anything like that that is added to the game should be available to everyone, regardless of prestige status.

Anybody know what the infected emblem is all about? I got knifed by someone with the infected emblem and I got a completed 'infected' challenge appear on screen. I searched for the said challenge to no avail.

Regarding Presitiging, I did it the other night because I got bored of using my lACRzer and immediately went 32-7 at Skidrow as a level 1 again, topping the chart

Gonna have to beg to differ with you on that one. Like Lengendary & Stevisov described, in addition to my personal experience and coupled with this link http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Callsigns, STD is attained when you knife/stab someone who has the STD title ACTIVELY displayed (not just available in their callsign list). Although most probably don't agree, I like to refer to it as the Stabbing Transmitted Disease title .
