I just want my old sniping maps back, over grown, the grassy map pack one and cross fire. I would love for those to be back in this with some new maps and the guns from MW2. Overgrown was a good choice but crash was never, well, crash hot.
 
I'm doing much better with the scar today. I managed a triple kill with one regular clip.

Still no one will put up or shoot down air support so I can get my CB pro. I tried shooting down a pave low myself and that damn thing was still flying after an AT4, two noob tubes and all three clips from my scar... Flying tank is right!
 
I was trying to get my CB pro back by shooting down a chopper and then shooting it with my gun before it crashes. You can't do it with the stinger because it will just blow the chopper out of the sky. If you hit it with an AT4 it should spin out of control letting you put a few clips into it before it goes down. Each hit you get on it equals a kill. Before I prestiged I got CB pro in just one match. It typically works better with normal attack choppers or chopper gunners though.
 
I have finally gotten around to trying One Man Army. I have not really used for unlimited ammunition for the grenade launcher or anything along those lines, I have just had it in a class to level the Perk up. For the most part, I just start with the OMA class and then switch to whatever class I actually want to play. I am quickly leveling it OMA up and just a bit over half way to the Pro version.

I also decided to try out the Vector. I put it in place of the UMP45 in my Marathon Pro, Lightweight Pro, and Commando Pro class (Commando Pro has been taken out of the class since I finally finished off the Commando challenges). I think I will instead be giving Steady Aim a run in the class, since I have a grand total of four kills with Steady Aim; otherwise, Perk 3 will be going to Ninja Pro. In the second or third game of using the Vector, Rust came up as the map. I quickly switched the Vector into a class with Sleight of Hand Pro, Stopping Power Pro, and I believe Ninja Pro for the third perk. The combination of Sleight of Hand Pro, Stopping Power Pro, and the very fast rate of fire on the Vector worked very nicely with a game of around 20-1-10. Looking back on it, I wish I would have had Steady Aim on the class at the time, as it likely would have come in handy in a few occasions. I ran out of time setting the class up before the game started and did not have much time to think through which Perk 3 would have been best.
 
*sigh* Just one of those nights where every noob is using a Scar with Stopping power and Commando and camping like crazy. Quite annoying to say the least. Still pulled some decent scores, one 2.0 kdr as well so my terrible kdr is slowly rising.
 
wow, i got my first prestige and made it back up to level 12. i forgot how much easier it is to level up in the lower levels :lol:
 
I was going for the nuke again. Came close several times, but missed it everytime. I played some with my friend & empty space. We had a pretty good run. The very game after empty space left, I died right away on Afghan, then got 23 kill streak. That's when the game ended. :crazy:

Also, I'm getting some good kill streak, but I can't seem to top my 23! :lol: I did that three times today, a few more in teens to low twenty something. Still no nuke! :banghead:f

Edit: There was a good news. Now my k/d is 2.06 on XBL! 👍

Most of the time, only against the noobs. Good team would pick you apart with the assault rifle. ;)
 
Or an SMG with Steady Aim.

The UMP is retarded. And by retarded, I mean so much better than anything else. It takes half the bullets of the Vector kill someone, and you get more of them to start with. And to make my point that it is much better, I switched back over to it from the Vector. Got a 23 kill streak with it, 1 was from my harrier, 6 from my AC130. In my first game using it again.

Kills faster, and more.

EDIT: Recalled 2 of my kills were with a stolen F2000. Still 14 kill streak from just the UMP, where I'd struggle to even get 7 kills with a Vector before digging for a new weapon... unless I had scavenger. Marathon works better with an SMG, otherwise your movement is limited and you may as well use a SCAR. Though the UMP does almost as much damage and has a clip thats 60% larger...

It's wierd, I go from being pretty good, knowing where people will be, good accuracy, to just down right sucking. Either I've gotten worse at the game or everyone else has improved alot.

I used to average around 20 and 6, now some nights i'll barely break even. I think alot of it has to do with my sound. I used to play with earphones, just stereo ones, and now I either use my lcd speakers or just two small ones placed to the left and right of me.
 
I completely sucked at COD today, hardly any games worth mentioning. Struggled to keep up with my 1.71 KDR.

Really noticed the terrible spawn system in MW2. I guess it is designed to stop spawn killing but it simply doesn't, I got spawned 3 feet away from the exact location I died, 6 times in a row! The enemy just kept noob-tubing into the spawn, along with a Harrier and AC130 covering anyone who escaped.

It's just as bad from an offensive view too, I've been killed far too often because the enemy spawn behind us when we've just been pushing them back. Instead of the front-line we've just had we suddenly become trapped at both sides, the system doesn't give enough space between each team to form a clear battle.
 
I was very lucky with my care packages tonight :D
Got a Chopper Gunner in Underpass which allowed me to go 28-8 and an AC-130 in another care package in a different match.
Unfortunate thing is though that I'll be getting UAVs and Counter UAVs for the coming week :lol:
Also, where were all the usual crowd tonight? Uk87, Fairplay, theewar???
I was lonely out there :(
 
Hooray, my internet's back to full speed so I can play MW2 again. :D

Might try a marathon/lightweight/ninja UMP class :)
 
I'm back to playing MW2 regularly. Yesterday and wednesday were a blast, nothing could go wrong for me. In the few hours I put in, I went a total of 438-17-115 with 3 perfect rounds. It all started after I got my first ever 10-0 game which didn't count because the host quit as soon as the game ended and a new host wasn't found. I was psyched cause I hadn't touched the game in weeks and it started going so well. Today I decided to prestige finally, actually I did the hack because I wanted the LVL9 icon, and it's been going much much worse. Getting used to the famas and rpd again was tough but not having a few of the perks was the toughest.

whats even worse that when no one is set up to take out aircraft and an ac130 spawn kills everyone, everyone spawns in the same building. then the offense pushes hard into that building and its pretty much over then.
 
Always keep a cold blooded class in the pocket. Often, I come out ahead, picking up the opposing team prancing around, little too confident due to their powerful air support. :D

P90 is the best sub machine gun IMO.

It's been "THE" silenced primary, or SMG for me since the CoD4. UMP might make it obsolete though. Actually, I think it already is. P90 is very hard to beat in close range, but it doesn't have near the mid range accuracy of UMP.

My advice to you would be to not read too much into it. What you do, the weapons you equip, your style of play, etc. Some matches, or even some stretches(try "days"), none of that matter. It's just so random with your competition, and also the connection speed. Even your teammates can affect your play. If I'm in a slump, I often try to: 1) Play conservatively. Whatever you do, don't run & gun when you are in the funk & rack up 20 deaths per match or something. 2) If they are blowing you away, leave the lobby. Find another lobby. Sometimes, the competition just kicks a$$. Sometimes, it's just a bad match up for you. No sense sticking around, again, racking up 20 deaths in a match.

Four of my six classes have cold blooded. Air support is so over saturated in this game its hard to play without it.

I used the UMP a bit before I prestiged and I have used the MP5K a little since. I love the P90 because I can shoot all week and kill everything in sight before I reload. If I wanted to run bling with it I'd unlock the extended mags and go nuts. :scared:

One thing I'd like to get around to doing is unlocking the extended mags for the AA-12. I doubt I could get 400 kills with it before I prestige again though.
 
Haha, I hit level 39 which gave me the M16... the first game with it I was 11-7 midway through the match, and finished 15-16 (courtesy of some M16 CQ fail on my part). I've missed you, M16 :lol:
 
I do miss the M16. M16 from the CoD4, that is. :lol:

I remember being not impressed by the AA12. Maybe just because I'm so used to reloading it right away. And that is one of the quickest reloading gun I use anyway.
 
53-26 at the map with the garages and things, it's name evades me.

I also saw 93-23-18 at Karachi.
