It's certainly not used as much as it once was, but I'm using it just as much and the weapon feels more or less the same. I kill in a burst or 2 almost every time, using the red dot even though the Holo aparently improves accuracy. I'd say it's not so much that the M16 is worse, but more that other weapons are closer to it. Sometime like the ACR for example is incredibly easy to use, similarly the SCAR is quite easy to use thanks to good power. Infact I can't think of any assault rifle which is difficult to use, arguable the FAL but I don't find that particularly challenging either.

The F2000 is the only one that is a hassle to use, mostly because burst firing it isn't much of an option over distances, especially when compared to how accurate the ACR and SCAR are at full auto.

I have heard some people struggle with the F2000, but being used to weapons which require bursting on other weapons means I personally don't find the trouble.

Taking hell of a beating. It's just unbelievable how this game can just turn on you. And it seems like every other game is in Wasteland. I'm struggling as hell, so naturally, it refuses to give me the maps I usually excel in. I've played for hours tonight, and while I've seen Wasteland just about every 20 minutes, I have not seen Rundown, Derail, Quarry, yet. It might not matter though. Just about 100% of the games I'm in, I'm having to empty a clip to drop just one guy. And on Wasteland, I apparently have pink helmet on or something, and it's made out of an lead-magnet.

It so completely turn against you, I'm gonna have to go back in for some more! 💡

I didn't really find it funny at all. They took the joke too far, it just got stupid.
 
There is something immensely satisfying about dropping a Nuke when your team is getting stomped on :lol: And the whining from the other team when you do so.
 
Had 1 good game last night with you guys, the rest I was running at 20 FPS for some odd reason.

When I was joking around saying that 19-9 game was my best in a month I wasn't joking, I've been struggling terribly lately.

^ It's probably because Azure is on the west coast and he was the one who found our lobby. I was really laggy too.
 
I tried playing some FFA last night. Everyone that says its mostly noobs is full of crap. 90% of the people I ran into were multiple prestige. :ouch:
 
Starting to use the ACR - it's becoming my gun of choice. I've got a red dot on it with Scavenger and SPP, and it's been a lot of fun.
 
I have been trying to use the ACR but it just doesn't have any power to it, its like a P90 assault rifle, but accurate.
 
ACR doesn't have ample stopping power, but it has enough. Fire rate is good, and you can just kill with the accuracy. It's extremely handy in a mid-to-long distance shootouts. Also, I consider it the sniper-killer.

I missed this earlier. :lol: I'm like half-way through right now, and I can tell you this. My new favorite phrase is, well, I can't repeat it, but it's regarding the McDonalds. :lol:

Lots of noobs start out the multiplayer with FFA though. That is the truth!
 
i hate FFA for some reason. maybe its just that everyone is out to kill me as opposed to only half of the field?

I didn't see anything but higher prestiges camping everywhere. 👎

I played a TDM after that where the other team was camping behind the bunker on afgan. I was doing ok and I thought we were winning right up until we lost and I realized my entire team were running at them head on like the stupid noobs they were. :dunce:
 
Don't think anyone's mentioned this - the DLC will cost 1200 Microsoft points on XBL. a6m5, can you convert this into real currency for us Playstationites? :p
 
That makes it NZD$21... not bad at all for five maps + a playlist update* :)



*hardcore mosh pit, more of the standard maps being added into hardcore HQ plus some other stuff

That sucks because all other map packs for other games have been
800 M$ points, 10 dollars.
 
Yup, 800 points = U.S. $10

I hope it's worth it. Way I'm playing right now though, I might break my X360 & PS3 before the map packs are due out anyway. This supernatural force that's putting me down, it's just amazing. I wish I didn't have big ego, so I can just quit. AC130 finally up in the air, host ends the match. One away from putting together a nice streak, THE LAG MAKE MY CHARACTER STAND UP(was in prone), and I get sniped. You could put all my highlights together for some nice comedy reel!

Holy balls... ping of 798ms... That is insane. You should have a better connection with dial up for the latency. How do you have the PS3 connected to the Network, and what router setup blah blah are you using?
 
It went back to normal soon after that. Must be some Verizon screwup.

Sorry I ditched on you guys again, but I'm not kidding you, there is a supernatural force at work that is out to get me in this game.

Tonight's scheme to get me is: Have more than 2 people shoot at a6m5 at a time.

It's damn near comical. Towards the end, I just had to laugh. Even when I get a jump on the guy, while my gun is taking the entire clip to down him(that's a whole another thing), second, sometimes the third shooter is on the standby to mow me down. I sure get alot of assists though.

I'm gonna have to just sit out until this thing pass through. I've had almost ten of these things by now since CoD4, and they always pass. No explanation for it, ever. But they do go away. What drives me crazy is that I try to find what I'm doing wrong. It's not me, everything(way other teams play, connection, etc., etc.), they are just random, but in a worst way possible. Murphy's law on steroids. I'm sure Azure was going WTF, when I was just lying on the corner of Skidrow. With two claymores covering the other side. When it's that bad, it's time for vacation away from this game. :guilty:

P.S. As soon as I typed about the Verizon, my internet slowed WAY down. lol
 
I dont think I will have the game for this, why charge more than normal when we are technically only getting 3 new maps, bollocks. I certainly wont be paying for it, free codes or friends accounts will do me fine if I bother.

EIDT: Not to mention the crap is already on the disc. I bought the disc and extras, I want all the content on the disc, not just some 3 quarters of it. If you dont believe me that it is on the disc I dont have a video right now but people have already found the files in the game on PC and possibly xbox. Shame on IW, shame.
