Well that was 985 cars there so far.
Kinda disappointed that there are so many of the same Evo's, Skylines, and WRX's. Like 1 for every year, while my beloved E36 & E30 are not there.

I have faith they will be in the full car list 99.9%.
I am really curious to see how many total cars there are though. They say 1000+ Hopefully its 1100+

There aren't many big name Dodge racers that have pulled alot of points in recent times. It seems like they were going for the most well known drivers currently in NASCAR.

When I see confirmation of Aussie cars I'll be ever so happy. But mega ages ago someone started a thread on here about some Aussie PS3 magazine or something that interviewed Kazi and they handed him some HSV and FPV catalogues and he said "you will be very happy with what you see". So that's a good sign, we just need to actually "see" this now.

a car list might take a good amount of time to put together, and don't forget there will be prize cars and probably cars to unlock that won't be seen right away. A full scan of the apex book is a better idea imo.

From what I remember, there was a #43 shown at one point.

The reason there are no Chargers in the game from what I heard is that each team was approached individually about who to put in the game and Penske and PD never agreed on inclusion.

Is one possible reason why there's still no official car list is because some of the cars will be available via downloadable content and not included on disc?

Somehow PD and Sony have to recoup the cost of development by charging for cars much like free to play charge for certain ingame items.

2000- silver exterior color

2001- Blue pearl and yellow exterior paint was added.
first Viper fitted with a standard 4-wheel disc anti-lock brake system

2002-Graphite Metallic exterior color is available with silver stripes

So basically colour changes and ABS also more ACR options added but I don't think GT gets into that.

I agree with you. Gran Theft Auto IV was also on youtube before the release... I have watched every gameplay video and when I got my own GTA IV, there was no surprising effect anymore. I already knew the first 5 missions and I don't want this with GT5. I'll wait for the release and won't be watching any more gameplay unless it's official from Sony.
