Why would you want to ruin it for yourself? Be suprised, i vote a no for this.

Well Im with you on that, I havent watched any gameplay vids from the final version of the game, just the intro video since I dont really care about intros anyway, I just want to save everything for when I play it, it's fun that way, but there's nothing wrong with someone posting the final car list, we just dont need to look at it.

Stop trying to turn every thread into a wishlist. We already have those.

What's your problem guy? This is the first time I write about this. Furthermore, you are not mod, so calm down. I've not turned anything into anything.

And that's what I mean. Despite some missing classics, I'm talking about DATE, because I'm feeling that in most "non-supercars" (which are very nicely selectec IMO), the game will look a bit old, with most of the cars being made before 2005. And the other point is that I find silly to have the Xsara VTR with so less power instead of the VTS version, and some more... I'm not saying I'm no going to buy the game. I have pre-ordered Signature Edition indeed. I'm just saying some things could be a bit better, what's wrong about it? This is a forum... :)

In the latest car dealer video, we can see renault sports megane RS 225 (the rs and not the standard 2.0 16V old GT4 and GTPSP version)
hummm european hot hatch

Just saw it!!! Haha nice! Looks like I'm gonna have to complain more to see if GT gods hear me haha... It's not the R26 version but it's fine!

Yes it's "only" the renault sports 225 but at least renault sports is there, another detail could have importance, this is the new logo of renault sports (car dealer selection)

So i'm reassured, cars in GT5 are probably up to date (post 2004 model/version)

Yup, I noticed about the Renault Sport logo :)

Otherwise, it's odd to see the Clio V6 '00 (used car in GT4 :D, was in Prologue too) and not the newer Phase II, althought I'm sure it's in since it was in GT4. Must be prize car or something.

Tsk tsk, I'm surprised they got Rei's hair color wrong...;)

Sigged! ;)

Where are the Skodas? :embarrassed:

Not yet, sir. ;)

I also fixed your smilie syntax. :)

There has never been any in a GT game.

Seriously...too many people crying about "this car isn't in" or "I won't buy it unless this car is in" and I all I've got to say is...Really?

1000 cars and just because [put car name here] isn't in you're going to be sad or not buy the game? Really?

I think Sony spent 6 years making this game and there's so much content, you should just buy the game and quit complaining. Heck, Kaz mentioned it took 2000 days to come up with the ideas for GT5...That's about 5 and half YEARS...just for the ideas. So, just be happy with what you get, please.

Underlined: Exactly. The "just because [put car name here] isn't in" statement only create [further] impatientness. :irked: Mostly if the [put car name here] is Porsche! :grumpy:

Typical forum response...

Nobody has suggested that they aren't going to / don't want to buy GT5 on the strength or weakness of the car list.

The comments made are purely that GT5 risks looking dated based on the carry over of pre 2004 / 2006 cars from GT4 and GT5P.

As with the discussions on the other threads re advertising, release dates and pre-launch profile, etc, Sony will be wanting to sell this game to a much wider audience than the core GTPlanet type fans.

A selection of production cars that, frankly, are enterring banger status in the real world wont capture the imagination of the average punter in the same way as a healthy smattering of current models... One of the things I enjoyed most about GT5P, was starting off in my real world car, a Golf GTi Mk V - the only difference between my GT5P and RW car was 3 dr vs 5 dr bodystyle. This sort of thing is important, it connects well with people.

Fairly obvious I would have thought

We now do not require this thread. All the cars that we currently of for GT5 are contained in this thread.

If you've spotted a car in a GT5 video, post it there if it isn't already listed.

If you wish to know if a specific car is in GT5, check there.

We do not require a GT5 car wishlist
