Pitty they have rubbish drivers, because that will be a very quick car.

here she is! The Renault R27! gorgeous, isn't she?

The aero on that car looks like it will be fantastic on track. Some really clever ideas. Again, it’s just a shame they don’t have good drivers. I guess you have to hope Kovalainen can get up and race with the best straight away, otherwise it will be a waste of a great car.

The Renault is (slowly) growing on me, but at the moment I think it looks like an explosion in a paint factory. :indiff:

Still, lots of F1 cars seem to look horrible when the cars are sitting in a studio, and then look wonderful once they're out on track. I guess I'll have to see the Renault movinc before I can decide. :)

Ohhh man I love that paint job, certainly up there with the McMerc in my books.

Yellow, Blue, white, orange, black... Did I miss any? Might as well pain it in repeating rainbows. That car has a bit too much going on. At least pick sponsors that can agree on you color. (The McLaren has similar issues, but did a bit better.) The renaults have always had cool shapes and minus the paint, this is no exception. With this, I think Kovalinnen will have a decent year.

Too many different colors . Get rid of either the blue or the yellow, and it'd look great. Beautiful lines as always, though 👍.

That Renault is damn beautiful. Best paintjob of the century.

Is that it?? (Ok, that was probably an obvious question)

Well, if that is it, thats one sweet lookin machine.

Yeah, that was a pretty stupid question.... Although, it looks nice either way, can't wait to see it with the livery.

I reckon that F1's dead rubbish nowadays. This is what F1 should be like...

See, I think that's better looking than a lot of modern F1 cars. Back then (1967 was my favorite season) there was none of this traction control rubbish and there was tons of skill involved. Back in the day, these gorgeous beasts would be sliding around all over the place (Jimmy Clark could hold a perfect drift around some corners) and there would be noise and fumes, sights and smells. Heck, they even filled them up with fuel through a metal funnel from a tank. The modern F1 cars are just... kind of boring to watch. They drive like they're on rails and there are rarely crashes and spins. It just isn't as exciting as in '67. Oh, sure, there is glamour in modern F1, but of the wrong type. Back then it was glamour glamour, but today it's the kind of glamour you'd find in rubbish mags like OK! and Heat.

I just wish I was 12 in 1967 rather than 2007.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion and that was mine... 👍

Those things were also deathtraps that sacrificed safety for speed. perhaps if they were a little sturdier, then I'd agree with you.

Yes, but that's what makes it so attractive (apart from the gorgeous cars, proper glamour etc.)! The danger! The speed! The excitement! Repeat that part ten times...
