I personaly was very very disapointed with this prize as i am sure alot of other people are.

most of gt4 is alright, but there are a few unnecessary ones, imo its ok to have multiple versions if they look and perform different, id only buy the best anyway and when id finished it cut out about 200 cars from the full list which i suppose isnt that bad. but 17 rx7! and of that i used 6

There is NO Mini in any version of GT4 other than the NTSC/J one. Only the three MINIs.

Yeah, but the two MINIs featured in the game aren't a patch on the original, IMO. The new ones are just too heavy and too big. I'd rather have an old Cooper any day

No - there's three. The MINI One, the MINI Cooper and the MINI Cooper S. The Mini Cooper 1.3i - the one everyone else is talking about - didn't make it from the NTSC/J version into any other version.

There IS the Mini Marcos though.

since im not old enuf 2 drive (6 mor months!), i appreciate every car in the game since it gives me a taste of what its like to drive it. I have a passion for 1970's/80's sports cars like the celica XX2800GT and when i see the mini marcos.......thats guna b my 1st car. I think they shud hav included the ford granada and capri 2.8i, and the opel manta etc. All the classic sports cars.

I think the technical evolution of the future PS3 will allow GT5 to provide even more cars than before, as most of the players wish. The problem now is that there are too many japanese cars compared to the other brands. Also, I don't know how long the Ferrari exclusive license will take that brand out of GT.
Driving cars in a simulation should satisfy all kind of pleasures, including the pleasure of driving cars that no longer exist, or cars that would seem pointless to the mph amateurs. I'd love to drive a Citroën 2 cv here...

bought one this morning and raced a family cup race with the AI set to about 5. it was fun. the car actually handles fine w/o driving aids. it accelleration is good too. just give it a shot before you go saying its bad cuase there are cars that are alot worse in the game.

I spent ages and ages doing the championchip and then I get some sort of thing thats supossed to be a car that looks like My brother built me in 2 mins!

There's no such thing as a car that shouldn't be in GT4, or any other game for that matter. The perfect game would be one with every car ever created in every version. It is frustrating that they spent time making 30+ versions of the same car with the same performance (Skyline...), but I have no problem with them being in the game. The only thing I have a problem with is what ISN'T in the game BECAUSE of these cars. And as for "no older cars", the older cars are the most entertaining and fun cars in the game! There are thousands of cars from the 50's on up that I lust after daily and would LOVE to have in a game.
