Changing rims on Standard cars

I forgot about my 2004 Pontiac GTO! My Jaguar XJ220(which I have setup as closely as possible to the XJ220S TWR) could use a new set of shoes. Can't forget my Caterham and BMW 2002.

I always thought the GTO's wheels looked pretty good in GT5. The XJ220 I refuse to change as it was my favorite supercar as a kid, so I have mine Silver and keeping the stock wheels. The 2002 deserves some nice wheels though.

They do look good, but the car just needs a new set, at least in my eyes.

Steelies look cool on some cars, but the RS Evos were intentionally shod with them because they were intended to be used for motor racing, which means people would change them anyway. So I guess it's only fitting you want to do just that! :p

I'm changing the wheels on my Avantime...gonna finally finish the Top Gear look.

It'd be nice if we could paint standard wheels, then I could replicate my dad's old Evo V almost exactly.

But I'm not holding out. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I honestly don't know how this could work out. I reckon the current premium rims, which raises a question in itself, will each car have a certain selection, or will all wheels be available at once? Hopefully the latter, besides I can't imagine PD taking the time to sift through 800~ cars selecting which car gets which wheels.

I'm seriously so pumped for this next update solely because of new rims for standards. There are so many cars that I love which I refuse to drive due to sucky rims. Pretty soon that will be no more!

Hrm... this is just so wrong, if you're not exaggerating. There are some truly ugly cars in GT5 I want to get around to driving while I'm still on vacation. And I don't mean because they're Standards. Humans are a strange lifeform. ;)

First and foremost: my honda element drift car
second: Veyron
third: M3 CSL
fourth: Mercedes E55
fifth: Audi RS4 B5 Avant needs it badly

Changing the rims on a Veyron? I always thought the best thing modeled on that car was the moving rear spoiler and the wheels.

Of all the standard cars I think the Beetles rims actually match the car, they're round, its round, lol

But yeah, My 1988 IROC-Z Camaro first, I hate those red line rims on it, they look ugly, I like the rims on my real car, I think that an IROC should have IROC's on it, lol, but it doesn't.

That and the ZZII, Red and that bronze-gold color don't go well together, lol

Well here goes my first post.....I was thinking the same thing about the Camaro IROC as it is my 3rd most favorite in the game. I own an 87 Berlinetta 305 V8 myself. The IROC-Z concept sounds pretty close in the game when tuned right, but it was just missing one thing, better rims. Now we will eventually get to change them and that really put a smile on my face:). Been reading GT Planet for over a year now and playing GT since the start. I finally have decided to become a member.👍

Honda CRX. Those big silver wheels are quite cool, but want to put more racey wheels on to turn it into something more sporty and worthy of it's performance.

I think the first standard car in my collection that will see a wheel change is my tuned Triumph Spitfire -- the stock wheels and exhaust pipe are pretty goofy looking.

If they have these (or similar) for my Levin It'd be the best christmas ever. I think they had some 4 spokes like this in gt4 so I'm optimistic. Could be wrong though.
