Muh friend had an FD sedan, it wasnt a bad looking car, kept in good condition, but as stated earlier in the thread, it was abso-tutely breathless 4 up, and suffered from guard rub on the tired over shallow undulations. Still a honda so it scored highly in my book :P

A few EF sedans just to show what i love and why they should be in the game.

mine doesnt look nearly as good but oh well. love is love.

wow, some great pics, ive seen the first one before and im not too keen, the panels dont fit properly and it makes it look 'ratty' but the other ones are hawt.

Very nice :), hey also just a question, I was planning on getting around a 91 model and their tail lights span the whole way along the back of the car, the same as the one pictured in the last link ( the red one). But i prefer the ones from the earlier model.

<-- I know that ones modified but thats the cluster i was talken' 'bout.

Anyhoo, i was wondering if someone knew if i could somehow fit the light cluster i like into the same space as the other one.

Thanks a billion.

yeah you can. most people do that in some form or another. i like my tail lights with the black part in the middle to. i have an 89 and think the hole thing looks better then a 91.

Definantly, thats what i wanted to know thanks :). The seperator between the lights gives it a fatter stance i reckon.. *shrug* a bit subjective, but i was just curious, thanks for the info.

the 90-91 tails have problems with peeling so its a good idea to swap if you can. all years have water problems though. if you take a very small drill bit and pit a small hole in each one in a hidden spot that should take care of it.

kewl, I had some drivers ed(ucation) thing today, which was realy kewl and ultra informative. Theyre was this smashed Ef civic hatch there on which they where demonstrating the jaws of life.. it was kinda heartbreaking ;_; but it was fun, i got to have a go XD. I made it into a convertable hehehe. gimme an hour and ill post some pics that i took with my fone.

Yeah that would be heartbreaking ~SP33~ cant wait to see the pics tho!

Im just curious, have you ever heard of a Honda Civic Jordan?

Well, 24 pages after it began, this thread is finally back on-topic...it is titled "Civic Sadness," after all... ;)

That probably depends upon where you live.

I live in Southern California, and this place is crawling with some of the meanest, baddest, nastiest-looking little Civic jewels you can imagine. Beautifully-done gems abound. There is no "negative stigma attached to the Civic" around here, I assure you.

.

Having lived in southern california for 22 of my 23 years, I think I am somewhat qualified to say that Costa Mesa and that area (HB, Irvine, Garden Grove, etc) have a lot of really trashy ricers roaming the streets. Every day I'd go out I'd see some piece of crap with a spoiler on the back that shouldn't have been made, ever.

Granted there are a few good ones out there that I have seen and do admire, 95% of the people modifying these things either don't have enough money to get it done or they lack any taste whatsoever.

I don't know that there's much of a negative stigma about CIVICS. But about ricers, yes.

its not that most of the people dont have the money or know how to finish there cars or make them actually look nice, its that the people that can do it dont drive the cars as much. the ricers are mostly kids driving cars their parents bought them and modifying them with their parents money. for the most part all they care about is looking good for the girls.

i thank god am not part of the problem.

My Acura never got that problem. I was called a poser before when I told people I didn't street race it....

Shame I didn't when they challenged. It would have been funny to see them next day at school and tell them they just got owned by pure 320 horses.

The only girls who like riced out hondas are dumb-s**t skanks. There's nothing wrong with making your car look good but a car with 50 tons of fibreglass and plastic tacked onto it looks stupid and doesn't change the fact they're driving a 1500 auto. It's just the same as people who rice out 1500 5afe Levins and Truenos or those 1500 Imprezas. All the addons in the world doesn't change the fact your car sucks.

well, for the most part girls are dumb skanks. nice wheels a body kit and a big wing will drop a lot of panties.

as to fixing up crappy cars, thats what the sport is all about. i dunno about the cars you mentioned and i hate rice just has much as the next guy with half a brain but i like cars with small engines. like in gt4 just for easy reference the 83 civic and crx with their 1.5l engines are some of my favorites. not to say there arent betters cars that is.

You're missing what I'm saying. I'm talking about people who waste heaps of money on making a car looked "pimped" and it's still a slow pile of crap. I've seen plenty of really interesting mods done on low spec engines and I think it's cool that people go that route as opposed to buying the faster model or doing a quick engine swap. I also see plenty of tossers, like this one guy in my city who has a 1500 Impreza wagon, he's still at school I think and his parents bought it for him and it has a big front mount intercooler and no turbo. Seriously, it looks stupid and everyone knows its not turbo and he just looks like a tool. I've got nothing against Hondas, they're far superior to most other small FWDs but I really can't stand CRX's. I had a friend who had a CRX with a GT wing and stupid chrome wheels and we just paid him out constantly for it. CRX's are also deathtraps, kinda like Starlets and stuff. Metal coffins.

i knew what you were saying i just didnt come accrossed right. people who spend money on crappy cars and make them look flashy rather then faster are dumb.

crxs arent really that bad... if you dont drive like a nut. i wouldnt mind owning one. the sedan is all i can have right now though.

well jackass this thread is 16 pages long so we clearly care more for the sedans. how about you think before posting this crap. ok?

who cares for civics with boots, the hatchbacks are the only ones you need to concern yourselves with

I own a Civic hatchback and can say i like them better than the sedans/coupe's but i like all civics.

IMO - a real Honda / Civic enthusiast would like both models - not one.

Actually, coupes have better structural rigidity and weight balance. Sedans have an even better weight balance, but the longer body is a little looser. Hatches are looser, stock, but they're pretty cute and are lighter through the slalom.
