Im just glad that have the G35 Sedan, blow the doors off a four door civic lmao
InfinitiG35KidThe sedan maynot look as good but its much more practical with AWD and such.
~Sp33~lol. WARNING vtec about to kick in XD. BRACE YOURSELF...hehehe...
Cough cough:InfinitiG35KidSo keep your opinions onn AWD to yourself. Or actually proof that RWD is better and causes better fuel economy and stuff.
Source:First, remember that your MPG will vary depending on many factors:
- how far you are into your break-in period.
- whether you have 2WD or 4WD (4WD reduces fuel economy).
- automatic or manual transmission (manuals are generally better).
- whether you run the air conditioning (A/C reduces fuel economy).
- cars that are sold in California and Massachusetts (others?) are
required to have the "CA" emissions option that can reduce mileage.
- many states now require "oxygenated" fuels [MBTE additive] in
cold weather or even year-round (can reduce fuel economy).
- using a roof rack or other accessories can increase drag and
reduce fuel economy.
- adverse weather can reduce fuel economy.
- bad driving habits (fast acceleration, riding the brake, etc)
can reduce fuel economy.
- increasing tire pressure can improve fuel economy slightly due
to reduced rolling resistance.
To compute MPG, you should average stats over a number of fillups
and make sure you fill your gas tank to the same level each time,
preferably using the same gas pump at the same station, if practical.
The Environmental Protection Agency <http://www.epa.gov/> tests all vehicles
sold in the US and publishes fuel economy estimates. The RAV4 mileage
depends on transmission and whether the vehicle has 4WD:
For 2001:
Drive, Transmission City/Highway estimate
=================== =====================
2WD, 5-speed 24/29
2WD, Automatic 24/29
4WD, 5-speed 23/27
4WD, Automatic 22/27
InfinitiG35KidLOL if you have ever ridden in a G35 Sedan, you would see that there is not much difference between the Coupe and it. The coupe has 2 doors. Big whoop. I live in Minnesota, we get SNOW. Ever heard of it? Our trailblazer cant drive with 2WD on in deep snow, so what makes you think a 2 door coupe with like a 3 inch ground clearance, RWD, is gonna be like? Stuck. performance is not everything. We have four people in our family, they wont cramp up in the back of a coupe.
As far as gas mileage goes, its about the same as the coupe. They have the same engine pretty much. Except they squeezed a little more HP out of the coupe. Oh well, like it will really make a difference.
So keep your opinions onn AWD to yourself. Or actually proof that RWD is better and causes better fuel economy and stuff.
Volvos come from Sweden. Sweden, being the only place in the world that it snows in more than in Canada. So I assume that they know a little about building cars for sowy conditions and thus know that AWD is not nescescarry for snowly climes. You just need to know how to drive in snow. AWD is not an angel from heaven to guide you through snowy conditions.InfinitiG35KidWhere did Volvos come from?
and you say you have never heard of a volvo getting stuck, and you have talked to the millions of drivers that have them? every car gets stuck.
