That is what I hate about Ferrari, top performance and most fragile car. I would rather buy cars such as the SLS Mercedes, maybe slower then Ferrari, but heck, a lot of safer car!
Well, supercars are made mostly out of carbon fiber. Not the safesty material on the planet. It's strong, but you get in a crash and it simply shatters like glass, without absorbing much of the impact. This is why normal passanger cars are made out of aluminium and steal. metal absorbs energy quite well. But this thread isn't about vehicle safety, it's about the number of days until GT5 is in our hands.

Nothing wrong with the strength of Carbon fiber. In case you don't know he survived and was completely unharmed. He raced at the next event.
Carbon/kevlar tubs of formula 1/Indy Cars are actually quite strong...stronger than steel. Passenger cars aren't made out of carbon because I don't think people would want to buy a 250,000 dollar Honda Civic![]()
