@Pigems, yes don't hit him

Around works better then through
Tsk, that last clip. Making the other car believe they have the apex, then speed up again to stick your nose in!
I got tricked by a weave blocker. Making me lose sight of the brake markers. I missed everyone through and drove harmlessly into the reset point. It did cost me the clean race bonus but SR went up again, 72 now. I passed him at the end when another car punted me through the final chicane. Thanks for the shortcut. So many red A's in SR.A. In SR.B most were blue. World upside down tonight.
This is how I deal with early braking (he's in a Porsche, you can brake way late in that). Always go for the outside, if they don't pay attention and push you off, penalty for them.
Clean race bonus for me. Lancer you're slow, go home.
Lol dive bomber in a Corvette claims his braking points are deeper than the Atenza (slow piece of crap btw). Sorry buddy, I've already driven the Vette and drifting to barely avoid a penalty with a slow exit is not the way to take the first chicane on the straight. I avoided him this time, warned him he'll receive a penalty if he tries it again.
One more race, missed the clean race bonus last one due to avoiding the Vette. Got to hit them before driving off to avoid getting hit by them, err.
Done for the night
That puts me back in SR.S (81) after hitting as low as 8 on Monday. DR back up to 16.7K from 7K. (reset).
Races on Sarthe have definitely improved since Monday. But it helps to know the penalty system inside out. Thanks to the very strict track limits, bump passes and dirty blocks don't work in this race, simply tap a wall or drift slightly over the track limits to help the penalty system come to the correct conclusion. It's more of a self help tool than a reliable steward. Much better than last weeks race C where it only got worse with bumping as the week went on.
My last race was also one of the best. Great duel with a Mexican in the GR Supra. I was right on his tail at the start of lap 2 yet the Atenza just doesn't have the power to make a draft pass stick, it can hardly keep up while drafting. Then I had a better exit out of Mulsanne, passed him, but no chance to stay ahead of course. I kept with him and when he went wide at the end of the Corvette curves I was prepared with an inside line and passed him again. This time there was not enough room for him to make another pass, Atenza can brake nice and late for the last 2 chicanes and this slow piece of crap beat the Supra
5 cars cleared tonight, that puts the total at 19 different cars used so far on Sarthe with clean race bonus. 16 to go.
