So the next two weeks worth of races are up on KP, next week’s races show them to be running normally from Monday to Sunday, but the week after only shows races running from Monday to Wednesday. Is there a change coming in the frequency of Daily Race changes?

Hasn't it always been like this? Missing scheduled times for the la Sarthe week should appear once this week is over.

New races every 3 days would be better than every 7. :)

I'm not sure how I'd feel about that. It might be a little on the short side. I think 5 days would be better. I gradually begin to lose interest in daily races towards the end of the week. I currently like that there's adequate time to perfect QTs and practice.

I think it's just that they're limited to how far they can schedule or the site can't look too far in advance.
It only showed one day when they first came out

Whoops, missed your post. That does sound right. This thread moves way too fast for me.

The plan was, play GT, then have food. Freyja has decided that I'm doing things the other way around.

Let's hope that Indian food helps foolish NSX drivers break into the 2:13s at that ballache of a circuit in Australia.

I agree with @Hasnain282. I've seen the same thing before. Tomorrow it will show Thursday the 27th.

Which one is the best go to car for the nur 24h track (the race c next week)?

For cornering the wrx or lancer evo gr3, for short shifting in fuel two jaguar (if you can handle it as its a difficult car to learn) or the super slipperly slidey grrrr id glide lubricant supra, the jaguar has somesort of fuel map fault, even if you put it in fuel three is still as fast as fuel one and does a full two lap stint however it can be poor with tyre wear. Think the corvette could be the ultimate gr3 car for n24 as this time its rh only, corvettes do very well at nurb 24h.

I did some more practice laps for the N24. Not GR.3 for next week though, R92CP fun. I'm down to 7:04.7 currently, on medium tires with weight reduced (rest stock). Optimum of 7:01.7. Lovely car to drive around the ring. It did take some getting used to the much earlier brake points, hopefully I won't be brake checking everyone tomorrow back in GR.3.

I'm done with Bathurst, after qualifying the fun level has gone down. It's too risky to keep changing cars at the front with the current penalty system. Instead I'll keep my SR at 99, DR now at 36.3K. I guess I should qualify early for N24 tomorrow as what always happens is that I'll be starting 7th to 12th at most on Monday at the N24 C event. 2/3rds enter without qualifying, most not knowing the track very well. To actually start last I would have to reset my DR. Starting behind the slowest qualifiers in front of a pack of last to first wannebees is a quick way to get reset involuntarily :)

Just to figure out what time is safe to still drive all cars with, qualify with the crappiest car :) Viper and McLaren BMW were the worst at Brand's since the physics update. McLaren might still get up to speed, qualify in the Viper might be best.

The beauty of the true daily "Daily Races" was that there was not much time to practice and do a ton of qualifying laps. The next day, the races would all be different, so there was more emphasis on just getting out there and racing. 👍 I liked it way better. I wouldn't mind a compromise though. Maybe change every 3 or 4 days.

Last hurrah at Race B, did it twice. First went smoothly, clawed back some SR. Second one was a pain. Quali'd 7th, worked up to 3rd, then on lap 2 right at the top of the hill a Russian Megane Trophy I passed cos it had engaged in battle earlier with another car and cleared the way for my passing both, shunted me over the grass at the mountain top, handing me an undeserved 1.5s penalty and them nothing. Then in the downhill on the mountain in the final lap, this same Russian Megane Trophy hit the inside wall in the narrow twisty section and rebounded into my path, couldn't brake in time and literally nowhere else to go so I got handed a 1s penalty again. SR shoved down to 52. Both races were paired with a mix of B/A, A/B, C/A and D/A drivers. The B/A drivers were the ones causing all the trouble this time, because the D/A were too slow to be remotely competitive.

I'm frustrated to the max with the matching and penalty systems now. I went from SR 98>52 in 3 days or 7 races through me doing literally nothing wrong. All my penalties were caused by others hitting me (ramming as I braked, pushing me off/into walls while I'm on the outside, pushing me into cutting corners when I have a clear and wide open inside line, hitting me as they rebound where I can't avoid), and all other SR down moments are courtesy of absolutely standard clean driving that had never resulted in negatives until this week (braking at appropriate points and following the racing line with the driver behind staying a steady distance behind, braking/turning in at the same time, or the same but with me closely chasing and not enough to get past). I'm 90% of the time on full 5 bars of connection, otherwise never dips below 4. It seems the only way to gain SR is to somehow have 3s+ gaps either side of you, basically not racing but ensuring that nobody is remotely nearby, and whenever anyone is, just letting them pass even if they don't have the speed/skill to do so. It's bizarre. I can't be the only one who is having this problem? My only DR rise in the past few days, that took me from 97>98, was what the game deemed to be a clean race (a tightly contested Race A)... otherwise I remain flat at the same number or drop steeply. So I'm now stuck at B/B again, which doesn't make any sense to me based on how I've driven vs others who I've seen get penalties and gain SR..?

Really not looking forward to Gr.1 at Le Mans next week. I guess it'll be the usual issue of everyone having different braking distances at chicanes and corners at the end of straights, so hitting each other regularly. Pass.

Did FIA Free Practice with all my Gr.4 cars. M4 has surprisingly been the quickest and most nimble. The Scirocco came closest, as I was up .4, but went off with too much understeer, at the left hander before the back straight. However, I went with barely lifting at the 130R. 220km/h. Every other car I was lifting or downshifting, slowing to about 205-210km/h. Has the best off throttle tuck in. It's a weapon if more time can be spent with it.

Less stress with getting through the esses and hairpin in the M4. Nice and smooth. So, I'll be in that all week.

I saw last year top 10s were corvettes with 8:07-8:14 as i can remember, thanks for the tips man!

Race C one per hour once a week
Race B extra lap less qualifying
Race A is unique and should be a gr car instead.

Sport tire races should stay in gt league and not online, idea of fia is gt cars and prototypes, not sports car. Sports cars belong in games like burnout and forza. The body roll on road cars makes me sick lol

If you're unable to drive anything without downforce, that’s a personal problem. Don't go uninstalling your game again over it, though. lol

Some of my best Sport Mode moments have been w/ road cars.

Le Mans is still another week away, but yup it will full of bumping from behind by the hybrids, both at braking and corner exit. Sarthe has 3 penalty zones to cause more trouble, especially the one at the pit entrance is in a terrible place. Definitely a track you don't want to start mid pack :/

I managed to keep my SR above 90 after qualifying for Bathurst, but that was with avoiding 'dirty hour'. I dropped down to as low as 28 earlier in the week, just 4 races after getting knocked out of SR.S by the faulty penalty system. Once you get down to SR.A it becomes a downward spiral that's almost impossible to get out unless you stop racing. I did 4 clean races on Alsace to reset back to 99 and luckily stayed there.

Everyone has this problem, yet if you are fast enough (and have qualified ofcourse, which I didn't) then you get to start on pole in easy rooms once you leave SR.S. Basically either you run away from the pack or you lose SR.... One bump from behind reduces the max gain to +1, two is SR loss, a contact time penalty can easily cost 10 SR.

A shortcut penalty doesn't cost SR, only the minor gain you might have gotten from that sector. Bathurst is tricky to gain SR even without any car contact. The slightest brush of a wall negates that sector's SR up. And even if you manage that, and the penalty system gets it right when you get punted off, your SR gain is still reduced. I've gotten the clean race bonus and only gained +2 SR (max is 5 on Bathurst this week)

Race C is worth 16 SR, also much easier to get the clean race bonus if you can keep the car on the track :)

I also pursashed two ps4 consoles used both of which the disk drive borken so i "deleted" gt sport then go a pro to redownload (again) its only actually been once i deleted it in a mood, first time my disk drive broke and made me moody as i was first place in front of field full of a plus on nurb 24hr. So most time i delete it were due to second hand ps4s from cash converters who magically denied i got them from there even though i had the reciepts staing the store LOL so i went local trading standards and the store was shut down. It felt very satisfying seeing it been shut down and getting a full refund to be offered a free ps4 from the same store who denied it so i went game and got a new one just to annoy the manager even more. I am now going to a new second hand shop to repeat this so i can get another free ps4 pro so i can "redownload" gt sport for a laugh lol. I read a review if another store some distance from me and magically the same dodgy manager is there hahahahaha. I am also 6ft5 tall, i need downforce lol plus i can fit in most road cars . . . . . Its like the scene from old top gear when clarkson tried to get in a original gt40 lol its just not going to happen lol

Decided to give the Daily Race B another go. Started P1 and never looked back. Had a hairy moment that resulted in a wall tap exiting the Dipper that dropped the clean race though.

Edit: ran two more, both wins. This from the last one:

Glad to take fast lap on that. The guy in 2nd was great at stealing it from me on the last lap.
I saw you there- didn't have a bad day myself but you're really on another level. I went up 3 positions, which was awesome because I think I was only DR C in the lobby.

Sometimes. I usually look to see if I recognize anyone, not sure why your name didn't register.
That RC F is so fast on the straights. I wish I had the Esses down so I felt confident driving it online. I'll have to practice. I really do love that car, in all three group flavors.

Yeah good speed down the straights, kind of hairy coming down the mountain especially the dipper.

I used to prefer it when daily races were truly daily as well but my opinion has changed over time.

It's not only qualification laps and practice, I like that there's time to try out and race in different cars while also using different tyre/fuel strategies which I'm unable to realistically do if the race is over in one day. I think the current way is more rewarding because it allows me to focus more on a race instead of hopping from one daily race to the next and quickly forgetting about them.

I wouldn't mind a compromise though. Maybe change every 3 or 4 days.

Well that's more or less what I said, I think 4 days would be fine as well. I wouldn't be dead set on 5 days. One week is definitely too long, on the other hand.

I tried race C for the first time. At SR 36 I didn't feel like I needed any practice, just brake shortly after the gear indicator starts flashing. No problem, finished 6th with clean race bonus, 42 sec ahead of 7th, 6 sec behind 5th (who rammed me off while passing after pitting without getting a penalty of course) 7 people quit, rest all blue ratings despite plenty ramming going on before the field spread out. +25 SR from 36 to 61. That's 5 clean races on Bathurst lol. I didn't pit, should have since my lap times dwindled to 1:54 in the last lap. 2 more, then I can retry Bathurst at SR 99.
Race C is the best

Race A is 370Z one make. Here is my best lap so far of 1:27.984 which is currently ranked second fastest in the world

I can most likely get a high .6 with a lot of practice but for now this can be a good reference lap. I used a DS4 controller and automatic transmission to complete the lap.

A few laps in the F-Type for a starter as it was great around Panorama and I gotta say it's just as smooth at Suzuka.. it's a great car! will dip into the 2'07's with more laps for sure

Have fun guys! 👍

Tokyo 246 would make racing in Tokyo so much better. Time to race!

Edit: Forgot about the 86.
