The lap times are a bit misleading with Super Formula cars, I save enough boost to use it for a full lap in the second stint just to try for fastest lap which is worth a second). BB as far back as you can and putting the controller sensitivity up really helps with turn in with these cars too.

Welcome to the site, it's always nice to race against somebody who doesn't try to kill you.
What's your race strategy for fuel mix etcetera? I'm not too far off on quali to you but miles of on race pace..

Here’s my 180th win from yesterday. Sometimes people crash, and I win. 5th to 1st, fun race and clean battle with a very good Brazilian driver.

Thanks for posting.. I learned a few things watching this. Esp for the first couple of turns, which are holding me back from improving my Qualifying time.

Here's a rookie move: I made a Valvoline Edition paint job for my Mercedes to use at race B, before testing the car out. It turns out that the car hates going around corners, so I won't even be able to use it. :banghead: :dunce:

I think it turns just fine, as long as you go slow in-fast out

I was originally typing up a comment about Daily Race B comparing my time to the EMEA's top time and how I'm losing so much time through sector 2 (I thought I was 1 second slower there) but I was wrong. My time of 1:55.9xx would place me about 1.5 seconds behind and I attributed that to sector 2 but I'm losing more time in the final two sectors than I thought. I lost 5 tenths in sector 1, which I knew and expected, lost another 5 tenths in sector 3 and lost 4 tenths in sector 4. I'm really only losing a tenth in sector 2 even though I thought I was struggling massively on it. Well now I know what to improve on tomorrow and Saturday.

This is the first time I have done any laps on Maggiore GP. I have done some not serious laps on the reverse of this track (for the career mode stuff) and that one Daily Race A around the short version of this track in a super slow car that I can't remember. The GT Sport fantasy tracks are consistently harder than the old fantasy tracks in GT5 and older games.

I think splitting the race into 2x7 laps is the best way since fuel is so tight, it's doable on mix 1 if you shift slightly earlier once the race has settled down. I tried the slower fuel mixes but you lose more time than the refueling takes. I uploaded a full-race replay a few days ago with mid to low 1:22s (the second half is irrelevant because of the battle).

In gr3 I just have to say even in the s rooms 97 percent of the people I see in 911 cant get the car working.
So many wipeouts.
Yes, in good hands it’s a weapon.
Same with r8.
That’s what I have seen since I’ve driven sport mode.

Four wins here and counting with the mighty RSR. Got just one from pole position, the other ones I just sat back and earned from the usual chaos on the first three-to-four corners. Man, I love that track with GT3 cars.

Yeah, like I said it can be good. Very difficult though for lesser skilled players.
I just have a thing against that car. Like a bias.
I gotta take an overall break fellas for a while stay thirsty!

Well, I like Porsches in general and I was so annoyed by the almost spec racing with all the Supras that I decided to simply excel at the RSR. It's tricky, it can get me off guard sometimes, but it puts a huge smile om my face everytime I get to finish in front of a squad of Toyotas and AMGs.

Plus, it sounds great, which is always a must to a cockpit driver such as myself.

Wow.. I must be shifting way too late - I'm doing 2x7 laps, but I'm constantly changing fuel mix to stretch it out to the end of lap 7. I'll have to watch your video when I've got a minute to see where I am going wrong.. I guess this is why my race pace is so much worse as I am spending half the lap most laps in mix 3-6 depending on how the fuel and race is going.

Man, the Supra Gr.3 is way OP.

It’s not a car I use at all, but I’ve just took nearly half a second off my previous quali time in the Fezza. Down to 1:56.7 in the Supra.

Me too. GTS servers say everything is working, so does PSN. Sony support says its a failed connection between PSN and the game’s server.

Per Sony I restarted every 🤬 thing, and still getting the code.

Update: just started working.:confused::irked:

Well I had a craptastic non-race last night. So far I've been falling asleep before the time I intend to race, wake up too groggy to race. Last night I was finally ready to race, found myself on a grid if people DR/B with a few C, down in the bottom 1/3, and just as warmup is about to finish, disconnected :banghead:. SR down 5, DR down 789... I only had 1380 to begin with! C'mon PD, give us a break!

Thanks! Someone(their name escapes me at the moment) found it on the internet a while back sent it to me. I figured since I’ve only played 27 holes of golf all summer that maybe it was a good time to break it out. :D

Only 27 holes and it's Mid July? Dude ..

I know, I know, I’m usually 15-20 rounds in by now but the urge just isn’t there this summer. I spent the last 6 years chasing scratch golf and in that time I’ve gone from shooting 110/120’s to high 70’s/low 80’s with a low score of 67. But the amount of time, effort and money it would take to progress any further just doesn’t seem like it would be worth it. I’d basically have to devout every free moment/dollar I have and even then it’s no guarantee, so I’ve decided at least for this summer to just play casually and spent most of my free time racing. :)
