1 Race B this morning. I sucked. Finished last. Took myself out of the race on turn 2. :dunce:

1 Race C last night. Probably my "best" race in a while. Only lost 2 spots.

Last 2 weeks has been rough. It's in my head now. I'm in afraid to race mode. :nervous:

I was just in a race, last lap on the final straight. I was running second and the guy in first place wanted to celebrate his victory by driving close to the pit lane. Well he ended up getting a little too close and hit the wall. This brought him to a dead stop and gave him a 5 second penalty just 100ft or so from the finish line. He finished 9th.

And 2nd, that's a kin to dropping the football just before you cross the goal line. I'd be so angry if that happened to me.

SR is a joke, I've reached a point where I just don't care. I'm so tired of being tapped from behind and yet I see the orange SR Down flash up on the screen. What PD is telling me, I should just pull over and let him pass. It's a freaking race and I'm in front, either make a clean pass or deal with it.
 
Maybe it's a Miata, or the Porsche?

There's a good chance that I'll be only doing race C, next week. I really don't think it's gonna be all that important to qualify.

Thank you, PD for listening. 👍 I think it's great that you're trying some crazy new combos (at least two of the combos are new, and possibly 3, depending on the race A car). Haven't seen one complaint, yet.
 
I swear to God, if the N100 race is with the old 500, Sambabus, Beat, Copen, or Beetle, I am going to flip a table, punt sturk's ghost, steal Pigems' beer, and imply that your mother is a llama.


If no one got The Sims reference, I'm going to cry.

Samba Bus race (please! please!) should be a MANDATORY race, just to see how many people get a reset!

I actually ended up with more time that I thought this evening but decided not to 'waste' it on another frivolous and futile QTT, so jumped into a race around Maggiore instead...

I forgot I was DR/C... That was a horrifying surprise. Really was not ready for that... Turns out whilst my 59.2xx was good enough for P7 this evening my race craft is not up to scratch at this level.

It was pleasantly clean all the way up to the big banked-hair-pinny-type corner and then I got eaten alive.

SO.MUCH.CONTACT.

Somehow managed to finish P9 with -100DR and -6SR.

Definitely one for the album anyway -Video of that one to come later.
 
Race B next week also looks like something the GT-R could do well in, I'm excited for that.
 
I just wish Race A wasn't so damn short. Race A and B should be the same length, roughly 10-15 minutes. Race C is 20-25 minutes so you can have two in an hour.
 
Finally got a race in at Fuji. It did not go well. Started 11/20, fluffed the start, and got mobbed into T1. Combine that with a 2s penalty, and I finished the first lap in 18th. Went for the 8/6 strategy. I'm not convinced it worked, from that far back. Finished 16th, after spinning on the exit of T1, lap 11.

I'll try another one or two tomorrow, with a 7/7 strategy.
 
What's the bop on the Samba bus? It's going to be a snooze fest on the straight although that big bus should provide quite a nice draft. Was it the samba bus that couldn't make it up the Eiger Nordwand extended version? I never laughed so hard, people backing up trying to get the best run to make it to the top.

295%(99hp) I believe. :)

7k rpm is the sweet spot for the supra, but it seems ok to go all the way up to the redline instead of losing time shifting when approaching some corners. It seems like the best car in Gr3, it’s also borderline OP for fuel saving races imo.

Stuck in the 56s with the NSX and -5 BB which I am really not happy with. I feel like I can hit the 55s with it but it’s a little bit sketchy around this track, especially when changing directions. I haven’t used the 911 in over a year, I may give that a shot.

I doubt I could do 54s, that’s just insane pace. I would have to take quite a few shortcuts and have a lot of luck.

+1 on the NSX. I know it sounds like the completely wrong thing, but it works. Just be steady on the downshift so as not to add lock to the rear.


Also, I think I am done for the week. Maybe I'll pop in at off hours. I'm in a bad mood personally and it shows on track. I play to let off steam, but this week, I'm a menace.

Well, I guess I had to give it a try. I turned on the BoP in the Sambabus, which amplifies the horsepower by 293%. I don't think it will be in race C. It takes almost 11 minutes to complete a lap. :lol:

Turns out, you don't really need the brakes very much at all on the Nordschleife track.

I hit the carousel really hard, and bottomed the bus out.

The soundtrack in this game is just so bad :sick:

My week has been very poor- driving slow and getting frustrated have been really messing me up. Back down to D after almost clearing B a few weeks ago. Easy come, easy go! At least I've never to suffer the dreaded reset. That sounds terrible, especially because the digital stewards can really suck as we know. Some guy bounced off 4 cars and sent me into wall last week, and I get the 4 second penalty on top of last place.
