Well, I guess I had to give it a try. I turned on the BoP in the Sambabus, which amplifies the horsepower by 293%. I don't think it will be in race C. It takes almost 11 minutes to complete a lap.

Turns out, you don't really need the brakes very much at all on the Nordschleife track.

I hit the carousel really hard, and bottomed the bus out.

Um, not sure this is supposed to happen. The wheel looks to be destroyed, but was still driveable. 👍

C race will be interesting, not gonna lie. As much as I am complaining about it, it will be interesting.

Definitely will make a livery for B and C guides. I'm a big fan of Dragon Maid. I'll wait to see what the meta car for B and C will be before I make the liveries for said cars and start doing my laps.

@Pigems I also forgot: Toyota S-FR can definitely be another possible car for C race.

Based on my testing at Catalunya: new Miata and S-FR are some of the best N100 cars, so if multiple cars can be chosen for C race, give those two a try.

This week has been pretty up and down. Haven't bothered with Race A - I just don't have the patience for how long it would take a 4cyl car to get around Autopolis more than once.

Race B on the other hand has been fantastic, Maggiore is one of my favourite tracks, and I've posted sub-2 minute times consistently. One race I managed to go from 4th to 1st on the first lap, and drove away with the victory.

Race C has been a challenge, as expected. Not from the car or the track, but the poor sportsmanship of other drivers. I did manage a 5th placing from about 12th on the grid, as a result of everyone behind me ramming everyone in front of me off the track. For that reason I don't think I'll risk another Race C until the races are reset.

I tried the Porsche 356, it's fun! Lot of counter steering lol, slippery bugger. With BOP I got to 9:48 on my second lap so it does fit in a 20 minute race. It hits the rev limiter on the straights at 192 kph.

I was 5 seconds faster in the Abarth 1500 although that one goes much slower on the straights, very stable in the rest of the course. The Samba bus is indeed too slow, 10:04 best lap. It's still possible.

These oldies are a lot of fun to drive in cockpit view, large windscreens, plenty visibility and huge steering wheels haha. I'll try the '65 Mini Cooper next, see what that can do.

The AI sprints ahead in the Alpine every race. I caught it with the Abarth, only just. Does the AI use BOP or stock? I have no clue. Some are really slow so I'm guessing stock.

+1 on the NSX. I know it sounds like the completely wrong thing, but it works. Just be steady on the downshift so as not to add lock to the rear.

It’s underrated imo. It doesn’t have the speed on the straights, something like the supra still walks away even when you have the slipstream, but it’s super agile. When it does break lose it’s easier to stay in control than the other MR cars. The powerband is pretty user friendly.

Best part is im usually the only NSX, so good results feel that much more rewarding even If I don’t win or even podium.

Ha perhaps, I'm still not very good at N100 and sports tires! But I imagine simply qualifying will already guarantee a top 3 finish lol. It's not going to be the Mini Cooper with 10.0 minute laps. That one maxes out at 164 kph on the straight, too slow. Still 2nd place again against 'pro' AI from last. They must be using stock settings as these vastly overpowered oldies with BOP leave there AI counterparts in the dust. The race should be on comfort tires, sports hard is still too easy at N100! Well apart from the Porsche 356

I just tried the sports 800. 9:31 second lap, very stable, fast acceleration. (BOP gives it 242% power) The gears are no good though, maxes out at 164 kph as well, but hitting the rev limit much sooner than other cars. It will go up to 170 on a downhill stretch. It's small and easily manoeverable, should be good on SR.

Does BOP in sport mode alter the gear ratios? I wonder. It doesn't in custom race and trying the Volkswagen 1200 it maxes out at 121 kph. 11:14 or so best lap. It's pretty much drive in 4th without using any brakes for half the track with the 293% BOP boost.

I'm getting very frustrated with Lake Maggiore. I keep doing lap after lap and simply can't get it down from 1.57.431, even though my optimals can get as low as 1.56.800.

I need to drop half a second in order to be able to start up front but I'm getting tired of trying.

I'm assuming you're using the "Session Best" display. If you press up or down on the D pad to switch to "Car Record", you'll be able to see your all time optimal. 👍

By the way, I wanted to upload my 55.332 lap of Maggiore yesterday, but the replay was glitched. It started on the apex of T1 rather than on the S/F line. Not sure what's up with that. Has anyone had this happen to them?

Some quick testing for Sardegna C next week with GR3 cars. I'm a B/S driver using a wheel.

Between 4 to 7 laps with each, so I haven't dialled it in with any of the cars.
First time at this track.
Cars driven in list order, with the Supra tested first.

Toyota GR Supra - 55.130
Jaguar - 53.835
Merc SLS - 53.878
Mustang - 53.453
Corvette - 53.349
Audi R8 LMS - 53.678
Aston Martin - 53.068

As the Supra was first, I'd go back to it now I know the track better.
Tested the Jag right afterwards, the Jag just felt lighter and better than the Supra to me around here. I think the Jag is worth a second look, especially as I clocked my best time in the Aston 30 or so laps later.
I thought the Merc SLS would be good for stability in the last turn and to power down the straight, but it wasn't as nice around the back of the track.
Didn't feel I was using the gears correctly in the Mustang.
I rarely use the Corvette, so that time is a good starting point for me to maybe go back to this car.
I wasn't feeling the Audi, even though I've been using it at Maggiore this week and really enjoyed it.
Aston felt a bit heavier than the Jaguar, but I clocked the time listed on my 4th lap.

Ah, now I understand the "Car best" option. But, in the other hand, seeing that I can go even faster eventually would put even more pressure.

Maggiore is amazing. The more realistic fictionals by PD are awesome.

Edit: tried it. 10 laps. BB at +2. Best time: 53.314. Second fastest for me after the Aston. However, it feels like its got a lot more time to give. Will take a bit longer to get acclimatised to the way the car wants to slide, but that's probably where the time is to be found.

Edit 2: another 22 laps, with various trials and errors.......end up with a 52.747 in the Huracan.

I don't have the 2016 Lexus. Tried the 2017 one. Felt heavy to me after the Lambo, but less of a risk at the final turn - i.e. felt more planted under braking. The gear ratios maybe not good for this track.

Only tested four laps before I was interrupted - 53.754.

I know I've only had a few laps in each car, but I much prefered the Jag or Aston for FR cars at this track.

Edit: another 7 or 8 laps in the 2017 Lexus. BB at +2. Still felt heavy and not instantly quick. Down to 53.527.

Nothing wrong with your car, you accelerate normally. It's the AI that is capped at a lower speed... The blue car seems to lift to let the green car pass. The AI is very nervous about going fast

I was watching a top 10 replay last night and it started at the line the first time. But when I restarted it, it started in turn 1 as you mentioned. So I assume it's not just your replay that's doing it.

Daily B, Genesis GR.3
1) Started 6th (2:00.3xx). A British guy with a Ford GT chased me the whole race, flashing non stop and in the final turn of the final lap he pushed me wide - he was faster than me but come on I had the inside line... He passed me and another guy with inches before the finish line . 8th place .
2) Started again 6th. After the second turn I was already 3rd. The British guy returned with his flashing. The fight for 2nd an 3rd place has begun. Eveuntally there was some contact between the British guy (who overtake me this time without pushing me off) and the 2nd place driver so he managed to take his place. I finished 4th.

Just did a Race B in the AMG, started 3rd with 15number plate, 2nd goes wide and off at turn 5, couldn't catch 1st who was the only A driver and I pulled away from 3rd behind me at about 3-5tenths a lap, bit boring but hey SR stays at 99 and DR increases
