DO NOT get a penalty on race C, the penalty zone amplifies any penalties by 3x... Anyway easy 2nd lap (is 2 laps really needed) 9:11 fastest lap with the victory.

So a 2 sec penalty is more like 6 right? SMH

Why can't they just take the time on at the end of the race?

You certainly got max value out of that post!

Don't want the GT Planet police accusing me of double posting, now do we?

Hurraacan daily B q time vid lap thing.
Tryed also mclaren, but I had no grip in the front tyres with it...

Q-time 0:52.377 BB 2

Might be enough for top 5 starts in races. Might try tomorrow, if not so tired as today.

That's about the time I was getting with the Porsche last night while practicing.

so i got hit off by some POS quebec douche and then this happens..he should have ghosted but whatever. i didnt expect him to snap back across the track i thought he was stuck sliding into the left wall.

but then this...same guy same lap...

i revenge hit him on lap 8 but we were so far back already that it didnt matter. then he invites me to a party to tell me "you stole my line into the corner and broke hard"...eyes MF do you have them? somebody show me where he didn't just run into me like a complete tool. tried to blame me and act like he knows racing terms. "you stole my line". you were following me on my line and didnt brake ya ****in dildo.

And I thought race B last week was a horror show. There is going to be some angry driving this week. Hopefully, it goes on in front of me and they take themselves out while I just zip on past. It's the idiots that are behind me that is my concern.

Something similar happened to me yesterday. An Uruguayan kept bumping me out and pushing me on the Lake Maggiore race. I don't usually lose my temper on games, specially on multiplayer ones because it's pointless and I try to be a stoic. But man, that guy really ****** me off.

In the end he did bumped me out when I was leading. It was pretty much what happened to you on the second video. He used me as brakes on the first corner AND I got the penalty because the game probably figured that I somehow was at fault for blocking him (I was actually just taking the coner, well aware about where he'd eventually launch up).

Ok, lost the race, was a little annoyed, I admit. But the next race there he was and I made sure to pay him back, not before I told everybody in the lobby to watch out because the guy was dirty: did it in Portuguese, Spanish and English (a bunch of guys even messaged me on PSN thanking me and others said they already had experiences with the guy earlier on).

Since I really don't care much about this SR rating thing that make all of you anxious, it was extremely worthwile.

Got around to making a KyoAni: Dragon Maid livery for the Gr. 3 class, so if you see this car, it's most likely me.

After this past week, I put 0 stock in SR now.

Could you show us what it looks like from the rear? Because that's pretty much the only view of the car I'll see this week

Race C is so meh. No place to pass, underpowered car on a long track, penalties are handed out left and right (not to mention very harsh what with the penalty line being right at the long straight), and basically no fuel/tire wear.

However, I think I'll enjoy doing qualifier laps. The car's kind of like riding a kart in that you need to be flat-out while taking corners. It's good practice.

Come on, get Swifty!
But honestly, I'm really not going bother with such a pathetic race. If PD wants me to come back, this isn't the way to do it.
Looking at how PD are doing things lately it seems they don't want anyone to come back.
Also, is it me or are races getting shorter every week. You have to wait some good 10 minutes between races in race A. Let's say I want to dedicate 1 hour to "racing". Almost 40 minutes from that hour are spent staring at loading screens.
On a more positive note I'm using cockpit view for race C and damn it's so beautiful. Is like playing another game. Shame I find this camera almost impossible to use with faster cars.

52.910 in the Ford GT in Quali so far, braking too early into the last turn then brake too late and miss the apex :boggled: need more practice but won't get a chance until Saturday morning, Happy Racing Folks!

Had a very clean fun race round the ring, but 2 laps is enough in the Suzuki....Swift? haha. They have a sense of irony at least. I really wish there were more Suzukis, they make some very fast cars that are legendary to the GT series. Imagine the Escudo round the ring!

This week I think my race is Sardegna in Group 3 cars again. It's short and sweet, great flow, great overtaking opportunities, reminds me of a beginner arcade racing game circuit with a bit of everything neatly packed in.
I’m with you, B is a fun track. Super fast and flows nice. I’m just going to set up camp on that track this week. I’m trying to get my time down to around Pigems time or near it. That alone will keep me busy.

Good point. If they're gonna do 6-7 minute races, they should increase the frequency to 4 times per hour (realistically, 6 times per hour should be doable).

I’m wondering something: is Nordschleife potentially overrated? On one hand, I do like how complex it is, but on the other, there’s nowhere to pass when actually racing, regardless of what class is featured. There’s maybe that last straight, and nowhere else. The GP layout can feel a bit more fun in this regard, with what feels like a larger portion of the track being potential passing areas compared to the Nordschleife.

Yes.

You just don't say it out loud around these parts

Talking of passing places, 2 questions.

1) has anyone managed to make a pass at Sardegna anywhere other than at the first and last corner?
2) have any of those passes been clean?

Thanks to the decal search.

I also updated my qualifying time to 9:08 flat so I don't have to painfully crawl by the same people again every race. Q time now matches race pace, now to try to get faster in this under powered 'sport's car...

I have gotten hit off the track in every single Race B I have done today. i've been racing for a few hours... just a complete waste of time. nobody actually wants to race. nobody understands that cars slow down more because there is cars in front of them. they just rear end instead of lifting. getting so old being given penalties for out of control cars sliding through corners and off the track. like sorry i braked because i actually want to make it around the corner.

53.229 at Sardegna, in the Huracán.

Not a chance in hell I'm racing this week. A and B will be a mess, and I'm a mess at the Green Hell. Hotlapping Sardegna it is . .

I don't really think of it as a race track. It's more like a country road that people use for hot-lapping.

I got the TT cup around the GP down to a 2:05.3 while chasing @Mistah_MCA but I couldn’t catch him, I had Nordy on the brain and couldn’t shake it. Great Lap man!! Hopefully I can catch you tomorrow, or at least get a little closer.

Then is was off to the Nord, I used to hate this track but now I love it, especially in slow cars!! :D First lap was a rough 9:49 with a few offs and a 5s penalty to clear at the end(you lose 12/13 race seconds from a 5er BTW). 2nd Lap I got it down to 2:09.4 and then I started to push a bit more and started making errors. It’s took a few restarts and there is still a bunch of mistakes in there but I managed a 2:06.6 while chasing @KONTRAone Most excellent lap man!

For me the fun comes from pushing the person in front of you and staying right on their butt and forcing them to make a mistake. Having a clean race with close driving at Nord is second to none. That being said, I have no idea what they were thinking with this car selection.

I made an appropriate livery for race C.

I’m inspired! I gotta get in on this action.

05?
I knew I had to look deeper in those dang ff junkers!
Argh.
Very very tough to beat a time you set anywhere with the tt @Pigems.
Damn ff gr4!

Haha Yeah man, me and that car tend to get along well, I spent a LOT of time using it when I first started playing. I have no doubts you can beat that time!! You’ve been getting faster, you can do it!!

Did a few laps at Sardegna in the Lambo, first time I’ve tried that car in a long time. Got it down to a 52.8 but that last turn is just roll the dice and hope to get lucky lol. I couldn’t imagine trying to race here with these cars.

It's vastly underrated! You can pass in plenty places, running up to flugplatz, the straight after flugplatz, right after the bridge, the middle straight, then you might as well wait until the final straight or they'll pass you again there. Those are just the easy places to pass, you can pass anywhere when the car in front goes slightly wide or gets out of the rhythm. This track rewards slow in fast out like no other.

It does require a bit of skill on both sides to make a pass, yet last to podium is very do-able. The GP layout is very dull and I prefer not having that appendix hanging on to the Nord. 3 laps Nordschleife GR.3 race C, come on PD!
