Sorry for the miss-information.

no worries at all! I'm really just curious to find out, because I've contemplated trying out EU region myself for more high-level competition. It really is pretty sad how few A+ drivers there are in NA region, I feel like I know and have raced with all of them...and many of them ONLY participate in FIA. From what I can tell by checking leaderboards and watching the streams of guys like Tidge and Kie, I wouldn't even be able to reach A+ over there and would probably plateau in the mid to high A's. I've seen DRA and even DRB drivers in EU region put up the same times that most non-alien A+ drivers are reaching here in the states.

Tried 1 race at Yamagiwa. Supra. QT 1:35.6. Started 3rd. Finished 5th. Clean race. First +DR in 2 weeks. :D

Almost through the book I am reading. So cool to be able to read, then turn the game on and try some of it. Was especially fun in the Kart last week. Helped me gain some speed. But more importantly it's explained a lot of stuff I was just guessing before and what to focus on. Highly, highly recommend it.

And that is the scary part.. how going against these people will really put us to the test...

Count me in.

Once you learn how to give the porsche what it wants for gas and steering inputs, it is a pleasure to drive. Haven't gone back to the ring to try it again there(different tires i know) but i am really starting to get the feel for it in race a.

Trimmed my time down on a sloppy lap to a 53.396 and i belive i can get a mid 52 on a good lap one. Out of time for now, have good races everyone:cheers::gtpflag:

Good luck with that. I've already blocked your kids. I assume they're the ones racing under the name SvennoJr.
Super dirty and punt happy.
I guess they're racing while you're out biking through the countryside.

I've already made some more accounts like SugerBaby21 to send some prepared messages :mischievous:

Unfortunately my kids are more interested in shooting each other in the face than racing. If GTS adds guns to the cars they'll come. They like Crossout :banghead:

Yeah. I suspect with over 8000 races, he must have all his children on rotation playing in shifts. I also calculate that he must have around 200 children. :sly:

The trick is to have children in all different time zones to keep the shifts going around the clock!

My early morning races were a bit of a mess with the lousy matchmaking. I got a couple of penalties from cars ping ponging and spinning out briefly sending me to SR.A. Lunch break went much better where I saw @Dairyworker. Matchmaking was still lousy but at least I managed to get around the worst without getting bumped. Best is still to hang back, let them all get wall penalties and then start racing after the penalty zone  One race also selected the last 4 of us for a standing start . Dead stop during auto drive without any sign of a driver with bad lag, odd.

I managed to get into the 1:53's one race. Of course my fastest lap was beaten again by a couple ms. The faster I go, the faster the front goes lol. 1:54 feels a lot easier now, at least on clear track. This car is damn hard to avoid and overtake with while maintaining speed. I had some fun clean battles yet most people mess up as soon as you come alongside. The race doesn't seem that popular with rooms of 8 or 9 from A to D DR. This morning was even worse with only 2 SR.S in the room, down to D/B to scrape 9 players together.

It's addictive, getting the corners right with less than an inch to spare is a lot of fun. That chicane is pure evil though, I still don't know how to hit it right, but it makes all the difference with that long stretch after. I can do the first section while staying above 130kph in 3rd, (although still very tricky) yet that chicane has me dropping down to 110kph or lower, better shift down to second to get back up to speed.

More tonight! Oh DR is finally going up again, 19.6K, 17.5K was finally the bottom.

YEEESSS FRESH MEA-
I mean your all welcome here we won't hurt you

I'm getting mighty sick of people on Race B losing control on the exits of corners or wherever else, and going sideways blocking the track and the game NOT ghosting them, or unexpectedly parking on the apexes of sharp corners and chicanes. Where am I meant to go?!

*Edit. Lost 980 DR and 5 SR for getting disconnected right before race start a few minutes ago. Where is the justice?

You can race if you wannoo. You can leave your friends behind. 'Cause your friends don't race, and if they don't race, well their no friends of mine....Entering the race and just using whatever time was left before the race starts to qualify turns out to be a "really bad idea" (tm). Yesterday it was the bug, and I managed ok with that during the race. Crap qually time but it didn't mean much in the end. Tonight I gave the R8 a burl. In the past I've gotten along well with the R8, if tyre wear wasn't an issue. Yea gads! Hooly dooly! There was some serious communication issues between my inputs and it's reaction! I know the car is capable of some blisteringly fast times, but I wasn't able to get within 2s of my Beetle time :crying-blue: . the guy I beat yesterday started 1 place behind me yesterday. Today he was 2 places ahead. P9/15 for me.

Race starts and I'm off to an ok start. Was holding my head above water till the second esses, when once again, it's time to put on that pink tutu
and Swan Lake it. Round and around and around I go.. I felt like a bloody roulette wheel! Dropped back to P13. Sadly, more people had their 🤬 together tonight. I was P12 heading into the final lap when the guy I passed last night...on the final lap, I passed again in the same place! I finished P11. I think it will be the M3 next.

SR unchanged at 99, DR dropped about half of what I gained yesterday. Another day above DR 1 .
Really enjoy your little stories of your races, and the references you make.
Safety Dance... Hahaha

If GTS adds guns to the cars they'll come.
I like it! Missiles should definitely be available in the Mileage Exchange. We can still maintain the integrity of racing with a set up like the one pictured, that only allows 4 missiles per race. Oh, and you lose 2 SR points for every competitor that you destroy. They can still race. They just get spawned to last place. You're definitely not gonna want to start on the pole.

I'm sure nobody would complain.

I think that game you are looking for is called Grand Theft Auto Online. You even have people that love to PIT you! :D

Geographically, you're probably closer to their server than a lot of people that are racing in that region. Might not be any connection issues for you.

I’m pretty sure that I’m closer to Europe than I am to You and @Mistah_MCA , we’re literally at opposite ends of the continent and our connection is always fine. :)

DR is overrated. I've gone from 75k to 45k in 3 weeks just by driving slower cars and starting from the back, the racing has been really good fun.

75k, there’s a number I’ll never see, well done man!! You’re a brave soul to take that account Daily Racing.

Well i can't answer for others, but when i say "carefree daily racing" it doesn't mean "not caring about racing etiquette", i still do my best and race fair no matter the account. The carefree part just means i'm able to race without worrying about getting punted and losing DR, it's specially troublesome on daily A races with road cars (my favorite kind of race), where the field is pretty spread out DR-wise, thus the risk-reward factor is pretty bad in these with the main account, takes the fun out of it for me. Not anymore with the alt!

Same here, I don’t get why people seems to think a second account is for dirty bumper car racing, I always race Clean and Fair, regardless of which account I’m racing on.

So I WAS sure, but having read up I'm now a lot less so! I may well have been wrong.....

I guess the easiest way to find out would be to set up an account in a different region and see what happens!

Sorry for the miss-information.

I’m gonna make an EU account tonight I think, so I’ll find out for us. What Country should I be from, Britain? I think my family is Welsh originally, what country is that? :)

@Mistah_MCA @Pigems I'd certainly enjoy sharing the track with you two in the EMEA region, that's for sure. ;)

You can join us every Saturday evening, we all get together and do 2 runs of each of that weeks Daily races and then a few Bonus races afterwards, it’s always a good clean time. Hopefully I’m be roaming GTS EU soon though.

I’m really glad you’re enjoying it man, I hope it’s helpful to you!!

We can do this man, I passed @TRL LIGHTNING once!! :D

That counts, right?

Despite being very tired and not really sober I jumped into a Race B there in the hope I'd get matched with Super GT who's currently streaming.

- My DR apparently isn't quite that high
- I did four qualifying laps and I think ended up with a 35.7, started last
- Got a barrage of abuse from a French guy in the chat afterwards, had no idea what he was bitching about. He went too wide at the first part of the chicane and I went into the back of him when he came back on the track. I lost a place out of it, but I'm in the wrong. What an angry young man.

CnF_Pigemz has Officially been created, he’s from the town/city of Blackwood, in Wales, UK. Now to start levelling him up, that’s the worst part about a new account, they start off with SFA! Race A it is then for now. :D

Hands down. No question about it. Definitely be from Vatican City. You might get more respect on the track if people think they're racing one of these guys. -->

Edit: Then again, uh.... I think they've had some bad press lately. You may actually get targted.

Just go half way and say Iceland.

I had a quick sample read of "the book" last week, and I too must say it helped me improve as well. And to think, I barely even scratched the surface. Very, very insightful read. @Pigems you truly outdid yourself with this one man .

Damm, that would have been good.

Glad you enjoyed the parts you read, there’s so much great info in that book!

I can’t take all the credit though, I’m pretty sure it was recommended to me by someone on here a while back, I can’t seem to remember who it was right now though. :)
