I wonder if it'd be better if every race, sans one-makes, had the cars be provided? It seems to be the best way to both allow for more accessibility in the cases the cars are expensive, but also to limit cars within a class to a more specific grouping. For this week's races, races A and B were good examples of what I was thinking.

I also think when BoP is on and tuning is disabled, BoP should also affect downforce and final gear, but otherwise shouldn't vary on the field nor the track, as I think that'd be too chaotic for both PD and the players. However, there could be events where BoP is on, but tuning is enabled, so you can still tinker around to your personal styling, especially depending on the track. Furthermore, I'd like to see a way where tuning could be partially disabled/enabled, where you may only be able to tune some areas, or maybe even just one.

you are supposed to leave acar space you didn't and irl you Wouldn't do that with your real car witch you pay 4 your damages so yes way to aggressive at my opinion

As far as I could see it was the blue car that finished 2nd that wasn't leaving any space.

It was only the draft bump that was questionable depending on your stance on that subject. Personally I have no problem with draft bumps so long as they aren't done in braking zones.

Agree. Bump draft on the straight not an issue. Not sure what the contentious part is. Sven stays on a line and takes avoiding action when the car in front spears off. Blue car drives through the ghost trying to go around the outside where there isn't a gap. The game will give an SR blip as there's a collision but other than that, can't see an issue.

I really really want to see a PD employee live stream themselves getting the 15 consecutive clean races.

I’m at the point where I’m just going to park on the side of the road.

I'd like to see the people who do the game testing:

1. Doing clean race bonus whilst actively racing. (If you're not running off pole constantly then this is out of your hands in many ways - it often is if you are on pole e.g. just get used as a brake at T1).
2. Generate the tyre speed and life data for the World Tour events (They're never close).
3. Drive competitively in Gr.1 and Gr.X with a DS4. (Massively difficult, per above. The game is massively tilted towards wheel/pedals).
Etc etc

You mean at 0:43 in the video after he had bumped me over the kerb at 0:40 causing me to lose traction? He was lucky I could still give him near a car space room. Actually he must have still been on the road as these cars get very unstable with one side on the grass at high speed. He bumps me over the kerb again at 0:53.

I'll own up to the cheeky draft bump, but after, the other car hit me... If he had left me space at the apex he would have been better off, although I doubt he would have braked in time to avoid first losing control, he went full speed into me :/

Tip, if you really want that 15 race achievement, easiest way to do it is to drive 1 lap on a race C then sit in the pit and do something more fun. (Don't select tires).

But yes, with the current penalty system, the only way to do it for sure is to pull over when someone gets close from behind. A simple tap on your rear bumper will reset it. Hence I ended up at DR.1 when I went for it. I had to pull over and even come to a dead stop a couple times when traffic got too close around me. Start last, pass a couple wrecks and penalty zone surfers, then pull over when getting stuck behind traffic while the fast and reckless come in from behind again.

Btw, there is another 'cheat'. If you lose your streak it won't get reset if you disconnect before the race ends. It will cost you the race and some SR, but the consecutive clean races count will stay at what it was before the race.

Sometimes you get a clean race bonus after lots of contact, or with a shortcut penalty. It's a bit weird. You could get clean race bonus with red SR before, perhaps still can  Yet many races where I'm sure I stayed inside the lines and no contact with anyone, no bonus  Sarthe is particularly weird with track limits, while I got a CRB after completely missing a kink at the highspeed twists before the straight on Nordschleife.

Anyway for CRB you do not need to finish, just stay in the race and SR Down free until the end of the race. Thus hanging out in the pit works or you could give everyone a lap head start and then race them as a ghost :)

Hey, uhm, guys.
Just gonna put this out there now.
If you see someone streaking down Nordschleife during your race today, that might be me.
Something awesome just happened.

Wait for Tsukuba - next week, probably... - and just race the 15 required there, without qualifying times. The track layout is less challenging, so you have far less oportunities to make mistakes, plus the cars there are always slow and easy to control. This is how I finally did, at least.

I got to 13 or 14 clean races in a row in a number of occasions just to be punted, make some stupid mistake and throw it away or getting the SR down mark of doom for some random 🤬 the game deemed dirty. So, yeah, it can be extremely annoying.

Congrats man! Your guides are extremely useful - I'd say far more easy to follow than some of more "pro" players. I always watch them, even in weeks that I choose to not engage on Sport mode extravaganzas.

👍

Just don't start getting too big, and make us watch ads for laundry detergent before your track guide videos.

Every turn will have a mid-roll ad.
Every time I say "start to brake:" Mid-roll ad. Imagine doing that on Nordscheife and N24. My channel would die in minutes.

Congrats!! That’s wicked man.

I think I have like 36.
Thanks :D It's funny, because when I started this, I thought the videos would never get noticed

We gon' have to get you to 1000 as well!

Thanks! :D
Awesome to hear that the guides are easy to follow ^_^ I always get worried that it gets confusing haha.

I was once at 14 clean races and was actually racing.
One little tap ruined it all for me. I cried to sleep that night.

I’m a sucker for cruel and unusual punishment....so I’ve decided to try the 15 clean races in Race B this week  So far I’ve had 4 in a row, ended by a mistake by me, and now I’m back up to 5 in a row...only 10 more to go  I haven’t qualified, but I guess I’m still pretty high DR rank because I keep starting first of the non qualifiers. I’ve just been pulling over at the start, but still have a top 10 in all the races. It’s good fun, but I’ve definitely had a couple white knuckle moments already....there’s nothing scarier than catching someone through Tear Garden

With my monotone on air personality, I think I’ve been more than lucky just to get to 36. :D
I see you haven't heard how I sound in any of my videos, especially my GTSport Racing videos.

So what's the deal with 15 CRB? If you accomplish this, do you get to sleep with a gorgeous model or something?* Seems to be a very lofty goal for some.

*If the lovely Mrs Golfer reads this, I'm kidding.
You get to dance with Kaz.

For those who don't get it:

Not sure that's how it works. Leonardo Dicaprio probably sucks at GT Sport, but apparently does pretty well in the model department.

I'm going after the in-game achievements in order to get as much EXP points as possible so that I can reach level 50 and get the platinum trophy. I'm a *bit of a truphy hunter.

* some would say huge.

It’s an achievement in the game to get 15 CRB in a row. It’s just a box that needs to be ticked off on my way to completing every aspect of the game.

It can get depressing with some games, though. Especially when you can't seem to give up on it. I've only recently been able to quit on a few games' trophies that were eating at my soul.
